Best Trash: Speedy Crew on a McNeilus Garbage Truck!

- Last spring, I wanted to check out some Saturday routes in the northeast part of town, so swung by this community called Kings River Village. It’s pretty massive but all gets done with one truck on trash and the other on recycle, with recycle collection being somewhat rare on Saturdays. Their entire fleet consists of these Freightliner/Mcneilus RLs, but purchased some Petes as of recently too. Most if not all of Best Trash’s crews work at a fast pace, so if you enjoyed this one then you’ve got more of this great company to look forward to!

One of the fastest crews I’ve watched! Such an old school feel too, having a 3 man crew double side a manual trash route. Not to mention their trucks look really nice, all around excellent video sir!

All of Best is rearload. Some areas are carted others are personal containers. Really great company!
These must be the guys that pick up my garbage. Trash left in the street, broken cans, cans thrown all over the place. Yep, they're the ones!

Best my ass. Left of center, cans in middle of driveway, almost backing over loader. Fuck speed, be safe then efficient.
Exactly what I was gonna say. Yeah they are fast but are they efficient and do they work safely? No, they don’t. So much backing from the driver, blocking entire streets, and almost leaving a crewmember behind too which shows that the driver isn’t paying attention. This is like 85% of what not to do when working on a rear loader. When I worked for Republic, all those things I mentioned were preached to us everyday
@@DavidGavinETC companies like them make it easy for me to get 1000’s of new subscription customers and several municipalities in Ohio. I hate seeing them do it but my bank account loves it 😂. I worked for WM and it’s extremely cringe what these guys do to themselves.
@@te4bag_k1ngp1n yes I totally agree with that. My division for republic was picking up new contracts left and right because of these smaller companies sucking so bad and being messy

Really enjoyed this one! These guys sure were moving and I’ve always liked Best Trash’s paint scheme. Loved all the manual set outs too. Really cool that they have Saturday recycling here since it’s usually just trash, would love to see recycling footage. Great catch my guy!

Great video, this crew is fast and I like the color on this truck, I noticed that the truck dose not use the tipper. at 3:03 they were throwing alot of bags

What are these people trying to prove? That they are fast? Nobody can stand it for long. So all fake!
They go fast because they have to be in the trash dump by 2 in the afternoon. The faster they go, the faster they will be at home. In my opinion this is the most physical job ever . Each trash can weigh like 70 or 90 pounds.
I have applied for two different companies being a coworker. I don’t call him helpers. I say coworker that’s just me. Is there a video that you have that is detailed and they take the time to show you what the controls are on the side of the truck and how to use them so that if I do get an an interview for a coworker position, I know definitely more than I know about the controls and how to use them. Hope that makes sense once again a detailed video with explanation on how to use them all right thanks a lot.
