Affairs seem to be the norm for most Hollywood people...but they always end up "chasing another dream" and are never really satisfied with themselves or their accomplishments.
How about this rather obvious truth. When you’re married and in a covenant relationship, you’re not supposed to have your lips on another person, wether it’s real or in character, the kissing and affection is real. It has to be in order for it to be believable on screen.
Whenever Johnny Cash played the role of a man who was romantically attached, the love interest (wife) was always played by his wife June Carter. Good insurance policy!
I think the love scenes encourage closeness and therefore the affair. Not to mention they are away from family and spending lots of time with cast members.

As an actor for most of my life, I've seen so many screen romances turn physical. The reason for this is simple... human nature. Here you are on stage, pretending to fall in love with a beautiful woman, with perfect makeup, perfect hair, perfect clothes, and often, a perfect body. You are saying beautiful words to each other, and everyone caters to your every whim while you're working, so you're living in an actual dream world. In fact, the situation becomes so intense at times, that you actually begin to BELIEVE that it's real, when it isn't. You're just playing a fictional character, and simply reading someone else's words. Still, if the fantasy is very strong, it's often easy to confuse your role with reality, and sometimes the lines get blurred. After all, actors are only human. That said, there's a old saying in the acting world: Never fall in love with your co-star, for this exact reason. It's a little like playing with fire. In my opinion, that's why so many Hollywood marriages fall apart, because once the movie's over and the lights go out, so do the lights in the relationship. But there are times, albeit rare, when the sparks that fly on set are real, and the couple remain married "until death they do part." But it's rare.
it's human nature to murder, rob ,steal ,maim and rape as well, its the moral code that keeps changing with times, and its not always for the better, its just a matter of perception for instance ,in biblical times, sleeping with a married woman carried death penalty, now its just a very bad thing to do and you might lose your family ,in biblical times rape or seduction of unmarried women called for forced lifetime marriage, a father could marry off his six year old doughter, in fact pedophilia started becoming wrong about just 200 years ago, now is someone rapes or does kids you throw him in jail and toss the key, personally i think rape penalties is too harsh, they should just be caned so hard so they need to go through 6 months of recovery. i don't think rape today is much more than any other kind of assault like punching or kicking ,,,in the past virginity was very valuable so a rapist ruined the girls chances of finding a good man, but now with sleeping around not being a detriment ,why the harsh penalties ,and then they put him in jail on the tax payers dime, first he rapes a girl ,than he rapes everyone by living off their tax dollars

Being an actor requires being vulnerable. That's a risk, and when people are both engaged in that risk, that shared experience creates a bond. Not that hard to understand.
You missed one; one which I think deserves to be noted - particularly because you mentioned her name in the presentation. Back in 1979, Mary Steenburgen and Malcolm McDowell starred together in a little sleeper gem called "Time After Time." This was the first time the two worked together, and a great deal of fun of the movie was watching the two of them fall in love in real life - on screen! They got married and had children, but sadly it ended in divorce due to a number of factors. As stated in the video, Steenburgen eventually married Ted Danson, and the two of them are still a couple as of this writing.
Here's a thought, not a justification. Creative people (actors in this case) are most often extremely passionate. Put two of the most attractive people in the world together and, well, there you have it.
Totally surprised, and disappointed, to learn of Bogie's infidelity to Bacall. I always thought those two were supremely happy, and faithful, to one another. How very sad.
Spencer Tracy was gay, and so was Katherine Hepburn. There's was just a "romance" perpetrated by themselves and the media, for to openly admited your sexuality in those days could ruin your career.
When people who are actors take parts in a play or film they often find themselves in intimate situations with an almost stranger. Their acting requires them to pretend emotions toward others. Sometimes they encounter another person with enough charisma to knock them over either psychologically or emotionally. When your asked to act as if your in love with someone who seems so charming and overwhelming in physical attraction you could really fall for them. This could last as long as you are around them. When the film ends, your required intimate behavior is not required any more on a daily basis. Will you keep on seeing the other person. Only if the two of you have had time to develop real feelings for each other and your both available.
You forgot to add Jack Wagner. He's notorious for hooking up with his female co-stars (Kristina Malandro/Felicia in General Hospital, and Heather Locklear/Amanda Woodward in Melrose Place ).
MOST OF THESE ACTORS AND ACTRESSES USE THEIR AFFAIRS TO ADVANCE THEMSELVES IN THE INDUSTRY...AND MOST CANT KEEP THEIR HIS OR HER " PECKERS" IN THEIR PANTS...MOST JUST MARRY 4 WELL THEMSELVES..
Actors, much like sales people, tend to be shallow, supremely self centered, narcissistic and insecure individuals. When thrust into situations requiring close, intimate interactions with other shallow, attractive, self centered persons the ‘chemistry’ is irresistible.
I saw once on Tv a man who had been a second rate Hollywood actor who left the field after a few movies and who still managed to go to some of their parties and the picture he paints was pretty pathetic. He said that most people in that milieu, including producers, as he was talking about Harvey Weinstein, have a similar upbringing: neglected or abandoned children, ugly ducklings, full with low self-esteem and a voracious hunger to be loved and being the focus of attention of others. Oh, and of course those parties were always copiously provided with booze, drugs & unabated sex. He said he had left in disgust. And watching them parading in front of the cameras and presenting their bodies from every possible angle, like art works, and enjoying every second of it, I have to say he got it right. Wise man.
It’s easy to get involved with your on screen love interest off screen too. Actors and actresses spend a lot of time together away from spouses and family. Fantasy and reality sometimes blur especially if there’s an attraction to begin with. I can understand why some actors and actresses don’t marry. The fear of an affair with a costar is a reality.
I remember watching Dangerous Liaisons when it came out when I was still in high school. That movie was spectacular and that was largely due to the electric chemistry between Pfeiffer and Malkovich. They just radiated sexual sparks in every scene. What a movie
People who work in the arts have a lot of emotion and it carries over into their personal lives. I’ve been a muciains most of my life and affairs between band members is pretty common.
Correction; now it's much more expensive to get divorced, unless there was a prenuptial agreement, especially for actors with many "moments of weaknesses".
Now there's an easy question. We are all human. It is not possible to gaze into someone's eyes, hold them in your arms and repeatedly tell them you love them without it becoming a self fulfilling prophesy. If you don't truly feel it then the scene won't work. For this reason there are many actors who refuse to do love scenes.
Sheesh finding out your live in boyfriend is married to someone else when you've only been gone a few weeks has to to be the most devastating thing in the world. It's like they didn't even see you as a person.

Carrie Fisher has bipolar. One of the symptoms of uncontrollable bipolar is hypersexuality. That's a fancy word that means that they can't control their urges. It also doesn't cover the amount of hurt that symptom can cause loved ones.
Fake kisses in on-screen or on-stage love scenes are never all that fake. It is said Bogart and Bergman hated each other and spoke only while the cameras were rolling. That's rare, not the norm at all. Show people are more aggressive emotionally and physically more physical than 'normal' people. Plus there's much, much more temptation during an actor or actress's work life than between coworkers in other careers in other professions. Boil it all down, there's just a heck of a lot more temptation for actors and actresses than most.
A good Q but a simple one to answer. Bosses and secretary and doctors and nurses etec if you have two people who work closely together they will end either a) hating each other or b) falling in love .There are so many examples from real like it will be as long a mile to chart.
Costars have affairs because they’re together on set for most of the day filming and the real life spouses or partners ( if not married) can’t accept that they don’t see their significant other so the person turns to their on screen partner for attention . The only thing that is really bad about affairs are the children who are left behind and have their hearts broken ( ok the husband & wives 2 are hurt and deserted )children are the most hurt by divorces because they tend to blame themselves

Why do so many actors/actresses have affairs? Because most have no morals, ethics or values suitable for monogamy. To be constantly near very attractive people I think the temptation is too great.
That can't be Steve McQueen the actor's grave shown in the video as that stone notes the birth date to be 1919 and death to be 1976. Steve McQueen the actor was born in 1930 andpassed away in 1980.
Good one, Jeff Silver! Whoopie got more miserable with age. Whoppie’s acting was great in “Ghost”, & “Sister Act 1 & 2”. However, around that time, she was on a “Hollywood Square” TV show, & asked about the Blessed Mother Mary (since she played a Catholic nun)....she actually answered, in a miserable loud tone, “What did she do?” Dead silence in the audience! Even respect from nonbelievers. No more Whoopi on the other Hollywood Square shows. Taken off immediately! I never watch her in anything, I turn the channel very fast.
I don’t at all agree with cheating, but if Carrie fisher came on to me it would have been very difficult to say no! Id like to think I could have, but geez she was a very beautiful lady!
3:49 Steve McQueen lived from 1930 to 1980. Either that's the wrong tombstone showing or the engraver was a couple of cans shy of a six-pack, so to speak, and got the dates wrong. I'm going to go way out on a limb and assume that it's the former.
Calm down ! This has been going on since Hollywood came into existence. Yes, even during the Silent-films era. And it wasn't just between heterosexuals, either.
I have got movie DVDS of Harrison Ford with Gary Oldman and Glenn Close in Airforce One and with Robert Shaw Edward Fox Barbara Bach Richard Kiel Carl Weaver and Franco Nero as Lescover in Force Ten From Naverone as I am dedicating these movie DVDS to my old school friends who are both sisters as I hope to see them again very soon to Chris and Hester from Billyxxxxx
Why do so many of these actors hook up? Because you can only 'act' for so long when you're expected to be in romantic situations with someone. It's a horrible thing, actually, to 'pretend' to lust after someone but not have any actual feelings for them. Over time, it's gonna happen. This is why so many in Hollywood are unfaithful and their relationships don't last.
It’s so obvious. The close, physical touch that is required in these acting scenes allures and attracts one another. The temptation is hard to overcome. It’s called the sin nature of man. Plain and simple.
It's mostly because they are exposed to large social circles, believe they are better than everybody else and work in a dreamworld. Affairs started by anybody is selfish and heartless. Especially if families and or feelings are involved. There is no valid excuse for being unfaithful... Scumbags.
That is NOT Steve McQueen's head stone. The Actor was born in 1930, was NEVER in the Army, he was in the Marines, his name was Steven Terrance McQueen, some say Terrance Steven McQueen. He died in 1980 at 50 YOA. in 1940 census he shows up as Buddy Berri, as his mother was married to a man named Berri. His boyhood name was "Buddy".
It is quite simple really, we have all fallen in love with a film actor playing a particular part, we like them do not fall in love with the actor but with the character they are playing. Once married they realise that the person they married was not the character they though they marred and so - end of marriage. The most successful marriages for actors are with people not involved in their industry.

Working closely in a loving scene can push one into making the scene a reality
Its probably their marriages werent strong/stable.
Wise man.
So obvious...lots of together time in the workplace. It's not different just because they're actors 🙄
That chick from Twilight 🤣
Kristen stewart from the movie, Twilight had an affair with a married movie director.
Thanks for watching!
I remember watching Dangerous Liaisons when it came out when I was still in high school. That movie was spectacular and that was largely due to the electric chemistry between Pfeiffer and Malkovich. They just radiated sexual sparks in every scene. What a movie
Most of these were obvious. Thanks these were great.

There is a difference between infatuation and love.
Those were the days, now they'd be cancelled or thrown in jail.

Elizabeth Taylor was a serial home wrecking machine. She was Carrie fisher’s first stepmother because she decided to break up Eddie fisher and her friend Debbie Reynolds

McQueen and his last wife divorced in 78….but his headstone at 3:50 says he died in 76.

Please do a video on famous locations in Hollywood that are connected to famous celebrities
The most powerful word in the English dictionary….’NO’. Apparently a conveniently forgotten word
According to dates on Steve McQueen's Headstone, he would have died at the age of 57, not 50 as stated by Narrator. 🤔
That's some other Steve McQueen. McQueen was born in 1930 and died in 1980. He was in the Marine Corps for one tour, joining in 1947.
Sounds like Angelina Jolie is just a homewrecker

Why do so many actors/actresses have affairs? Because most have no morals, ethics or values suitable for monogamy. To be constantly near very attractive people I think the temptation is too great.

If there was any question if working on-set produced romances, the Goldberg and Dansen affair should offer compelling evidence in that favor.

3:49 Steve McQueen lived from 1930 to 1980. Either that's the wrong tombstone showing or the engraver was a couple of cans shy of a six-pack, so to speak, and got the dates wrong. I'm going to go way out on a limb and assume that it's the former.
Yes Steve MC Queen will always be A Marine!
Calm down ! This has been going on since Hollywood came into existence. Yes, even during the Silent-films era. And it wasn't just between heterosexuals, either.
Why is the Steve McQueen headstone for a different guy? the Inscription says Born 1919, died 1976. The actor McQueen was born 1930, died 1980.

Why did the narcissist cross the road?
S/he thought it was a boundary.
Thanks for watching, Erin!
Bogart-Becall = phenomenal.
When asked about her 5 marriages and multiple affairs Rita Hayworth said "Men go to bed with Gilda but wake up with me."
Ted Danson wtf where you thinking???
He was thinking with his lower anatomy.
