    How reliable is this considering it is high mileage? Have you spent a lot of money on it and does it break down often?

    • @dylanash2569
      @dylanash2569 4 года назад +1

      Generally the C class has always been far more reliable than their counterparts. The W204 is relatively bulletproof maintenance wise, but being Mercedes most issues will be electrical. The motors are solid. The AMGs are known for more issues than non AMG cars primarily since most people drive them much harder. Pretty much any W204 C Class will provide a nice ownership experience and I have seen many ones older than this with over 200k (pre facelift).

      Dylan Ash they are meant to be driven really hard. Servicing more often is key

    Does this car really cost an arm and a leg? I have heard the cost of ownership is nuts. Maybe they are exaggerating. Hoping for some positive feedback!

      I've had 3 W204 (2012+ facelift) c63s over 5 years, and the total cost for repairs was around $2k for a valve cover gasket and a few other minor issues. Not counting a bent wheel and tires, gas is killer on these cars as I would typically average about 11 mpg in the city. They are a great platform if you go for the 2011.5 M156 motors with revised head bolts and keep up to date on maintenance. Mine were all sub 40k miles also.

      @@VersanGetryx thanks for the response mate. Honestly...I’m just going to consider a 2014 C350 and mod it from the outside.

    • @whollymindless
      @whollymindless 2 года назад

      I just traded my 2014 C350 Sport (95k mi) for a 2013 C63 (28k) and they look similar, but they are VERY different cars. The C350 was plenty fast for traffic but would understeer pretty badly, even with the same size tires. If you can find the money, do it. The market is so messed up right now.

    • @supra9541
      @supra9541 3 года назад +2

      @@chrish1850 Holding up well. Biggest maintenance issues were Alternator and Engine Mounts. Depending on how long and how many miles I do recommend headbolts. Not as a scare factor but preventive maintenance on preface lift models.
