💬 "Oogway Ascends" is probably one of the best songs of the Dreamworks's Kung Fu Panda soundtrack, composed by Hans Zimmer and John Powell.
I have extended a bit the piece compared to the original track, adding a change to E minor in the second part at the 1:40 mark.
This piano tutorial is for a intermediate level. I've included the fingerings I used in the sheet music to facilitate your learning. I hope you find this piano synthesia tutorial useful.

I hate to compare it, but I will have to, since I have been looking for this song for quite some time. From the quality of the arrangement this is definitely near Patrick Pietschmann level but without the part where it becomes impossible to play for us mortals.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. Patrik's arrangements are incredible but only within the reach of virtuoso pianists. I prefer my arrangements to be more accessible to people who don't have as much experience or don't want to spend forever mastering the song.

No need to worry, it was gorgeous! I noticed your right hand started shaking by the last chords, that's alright.
The shaking usually happens to me when I recording. I get nervous thinking I'm getting the perfect shot. It wouldn't be the first time I fail on the last bar and have to re-record it😂
As it is a continuous shot, there is no way to play with shot changes and make two different recordings.

Hello mister Enrique, I see this is a pretty new channel of this type and I love this stuff so I subscribed. One thing I would like to ask, I've been across tons of piano channels on RUclips asking for one song request in this format, but never even got an answer. Could you please do a cover on David Hicken's Incantation, or at least let me know if I shouldn't expect it. Thank you, this was brilliant cover.
Hi Mike, first of all thank you for your comment and for subscribing to my channel. As for David Hicken's Incantation, although it's an amazing song my channel is focused on covers of children's movie soundtracks. The way RUclips works, I have to keep making content that is related in order to keep growing. As for finding the Incantation video in synthesia format, I guess it's unusual for other pianists to cover originals by other pianists, maybe you can buy the midi from David Hicken and load the midi into synthesia/seemusic/etc for practice.

Yes, I have seen Patrik's version. If you say that because of the similarity at the beginning of the song, it's because we've both based it on the official arrangement (this www.musicnotes.com/sheetmusic/MN0126400 The first minute is practically identical.
