Thank you so much for this video. I have a project where I'll need a lot of barnacles. It took me 15 minutes just to make 4 out of clay. Your method is so much more efficient.
I'm making these today and discovered that when about 2/3 way cooled, one can take a dull knife or other thin edge and press vertically (from the point) a couple times around the barnacle and it creates those ridges that many barnacles have.
