My shells aren't sticking. Am I not waiting long enough after the initial paper towel layer possibly? Maybe glue/towel layer too wet? Any suggestions for that step of the process? Your bottle looks great!

Hmmm... my suggestion would be to try a thicker layer of paper towel to be able to squish the shells down into. So that when you press the shells down the sides are a bit sunken into the towel. I don't think it being too wet would be an issue - I think the more glue the better! I don't know what kind of paper towels you're using but maybe if they're thinner paper towels you could try some hardcore absorbent paper towels so they have more squish and glue absorbed into them? I hope that helps! Sorry it hasn't been working out so far :/ Let me know if that does or doesn't work for you

I don't remember the brand exactly but probably FolkArt based on the paints I have in my box right now. It was an acrylic paint
