Go back and get the arms adjusted. They should not be bunching up like that, considering you paid to have it tailored.

I've always heard the word "chic" pronounced "sheek."

I’m Thai that suit is reasonable prices if this happens in Western you have to pay much more than this and the service is good too.

Thailand can be as expensive or cheap as you want it to be. I've just returned from a 3 week trip and I spent £8.5k and it's the best money I've spent.
Couldn't agree more, there are so many different budgets for Thailand and they all have their pros and cons! Glad you enjoyed your trip out there

I run a business and if you asked me to haggle for the price, I'd tell you no. The prices are fixed because I keep competitive market prices and want returns for my skills and labour. I used the word competitive because I know there are cheaper alternatives but there is a reason most still prefer to pay the premium for my work.
If they are easily haggling the price, he values customers differently and sets the bar for how much profit depending on the customers (not so respectful, an easy way to never gain return customers). Also, what happened with his profit margins? 20% discount and he is still making a profit? Why not pay full price and get 18k quality work and material?
Maybe if you were talking about buying 10 suits or more, it would make sense that some discount can be arranged with the business owner still getting their fair share, as they have much more work to do in a short time.
You get what you pay for :)
