    I love the way you're looking for EVERY SINGLE BENEFITS of sprinting. Actually I sprint only for fun and pleasure, but I keep watching your videos to get more and more motivation to keep it. Thanks Cesar !

    Hi bro! Do a video about how to prepare for a competition, or maybe more like; how professionals actually prepare, including dieting, training schedule before etc...

      This video covers all of that: ruclips.net/video/Ic7YKrSsRA0/видео.html , if there's a lot of interest I'll make a shorter concise version in the near future.

    Dayum really like your content, you are always thinking out of the box 📦. Can you make a video on strength training for sprinters? I find it really confusing to come up with a strength program like there are a lot of exercises to choose from and there are a overwhelming amount of information in the internet.

      Appreciate that man, trying to make stuff that's different from everything else. Yes I'm actually working on a video for that, it's coming soon. What's your top 2 goals? (For Ex: becoming faster and building muscle)

    I've had sprinters that I coach box jump over me at training. I'm 170cm. While there wearing spikes lol. One bloke could jump up and grab the cross bar on a rugby field that's 3mtrs. From standing start.
    My son 18yrs (same height as me) has headed soccer balls from off the goal line out over the goals. His head was a clear 30cm over the top rail. From a one step take off.
    He leaves flat hand marks on the 2.7mtr ceiling easily. Does it to any his mum.
    A world class long jumper can clear a station wagon parked in the long jump pit.
    I cleared a sedan in my 20's when asshole tried to run me over.
    I was chasing his criminal friend at the time.

      This the one of funniest comments I’ve seen this year. Sounds like an action movie. What kind of athletes do you coach?

      Have done speed work for soccer and rugby teams. Also individual players. Its a good laugh.
      I've had two u15 sprinters win national high jump gold medals. Lol.
      The guy who could grab the football crossbar. Did high jump at a meet for fun. He said "you have seen the frosby flop. I call this the arm chair". He won. Lol.

    Training top end speed have more carryover to vertical compared to acceleration ?

    I did tons of sprinting but my vertical is only 20 inches. My 100 time is only 12.6 though. Also I'm 6ft4 200 pounds and can broad jump 9ft but can barely squat 135 for 5 reps. Does that make sense? My quads are very weak and my 100 isn't very fast but a 9ft broad jump is decent I think.

      you need to do strength training, the reason you can’t dunk or jump higher than you should be is because you’re not getting stronger your body’s in a bit of a plateau. This is a late comment and you probably no longer have this issue but I still hope it helps lol

    Sprinting will almost always help you jump higher. Especially off one foot

    Should I sprint before weight lifting or after or do it in its own separate day

    • @WolfSkate
      @WolfSkate Год назад +1

      from my understanding it’s better to do your sprint work first, followed by weight training. this is what i’ve been doing for the last couple weeks and it works great.

    • @WolfSkate
      @WolfSkate Год назад +1

      sorry to be clear i mean i do my sprinting followed by weight training on the same day, and then i’ll rest or do something light and easy like jogging the next day.
