Les Misérables på Det Norske Teatret (1988)

Klipp fra Dagsrevyen 1988, foran oppsettingen av musikalen Les Misérables som hadde norgespremiere på Det Norske Teatret 17. mars 1988.
Forestillingen ble en av teaterets største suksesser noensinne, og spilte i nesten ti måneder for over 150,000 publikummere. Oppsettingen ble også internasjonalt anerkjent, mye takket være rollebesetningen, med Øystein Wiik (Jean Valjean), Paul Åge Johannessen (Javert), Øyvind Blunck (Mr Thénardier) og Guri Schanke (Eponine) i noen av hovedrollene.

The last interview is With Kari Gjærum who played the role of Fantine, but explains that she also "fills" in a role at the barricades after she's has died.

+Cta2006 and she has Patti Lupone to thank for her cameo (when Les Mis was in Rehersals in London Patti was working on another show and got to rehersal one day when they were working on one of the barricade scenes, so she sat out in the auditoriumkinda hiding, one of the directors spotted her and that's how fAntines ended up with the Barricade part

thi has to be the smallest theatre capacity wise the show has played in (only 700 seats)

Very Nice background segment of this excellent cast and Production of the Production in Oslo, Norway 1988. Don't use the subtitles button. The subtitles you get has nothing to do With the segment ... Would have been Nice if someone could actually add the correct English subtitles to this segment.
