Well, Alcaraz is 21 years old, it is very hard to call him "prime Alkaraz". Where are 22, 23, 24 and than especialy from 25 to 30, age where moet athletes play at their best. But yeah, there is a chance that he hit his prime even at 21 years of age, but still we will see.

My friend, Alcaraz is a light copy of nadal. Everything in his game is absolutely power and one strategic. It will be very very hard for him to evaluate his game. For my he is in his prime. Novak shows with 37 how to adapt and play smart and strategic against a young power horse. Novak is absolute a teacher for alcaraz.

@@Neo-wj5pj I don't agree. There was be never better IQ player at his age than Alcaraz. Alcaraz has some really great IQ moments, you just have to watch more matches of him. Alcaraz is literally perfect player. Why Djokovic defeated him at Olympics??? Well, even as a Djokovic fan, I still don't understand how he beat Alcaraz because Alcaraz played exceptional tennis too at finals. Djokovic literally had one of top 2- top 3 best servinf matchesof his career, maybe even the best, who knows. He never served soo hard, soo accurate probably like he did in finals against Alcaraz, he was extremely focused that match and it was very hard for him to make a mistake and that wasn't the case for all previous matches he played this year. He made some incredible returns and incredible forehand winners, especialy in tie breaks and I don't know, I felt that day like I'm watching 2011 Djokovic in finals, I really felt like that because the man was extremely focused. When we talk about Alcaraz, like I said he is perfect tennis player. He has great serving, great returning, he can hit really hard and accurate, he has very powerful hits with forehand aand backhand, he was brilliant technique (his drop shots are something else...)... Literally I don't if he will be the greatest tennis player of all time, but most likely he is the most skilled tennis player I've ever seen as he is exellent in both offense and defense.

Djokovic's 2024 has been very interesting. He has not dominated as we're accustomed to seeing. No. 2 in the world is no small thing, but it's somewhere Novak hasn't been for quite a few years.
Whether because of injuries, his age, the rising potency of Sinner and Alcaraz, lack of motivation...or likely a combination of all of these, Djoker has seen his results dip this year.
His motivation to win gold was unquestionable, however. It now feels like everything that happened with him this year was just leading up to this inevitable triumph.
I'm not even a fan, but I respect so much about Novak, in particular the way he's found unprecedented success on his own terms. He bows to none, he owns every moment, and he defends every decision to the fickle sporting press and on the court.
Possibly the most remarkable athlete in history.

He is the GOAT. He came from far behind, and started to climb the ladder. He was contemporaneous with Roger and Nadal in their prime years. So much value for being able to come up from behind and win the race, 24 grand slams. It's being said that Serena Williams is a GOAT... she never had any player to be simultaneous for years at the top of the woman game... not at all to compare.

Why did you have to even try to create narrative in which he had an easy time getting to the finals due to facing “amateurish opponents”? He had to go through the biggest nightmare that court has ever seen in the form of Rafa, then he had to beat Tsitsipas, a RG finalist who had a 2-0 lead against him in 2021 finals on that same court, then a super talented clay court specialist Musetti who has given him problems on clay just weeks before and finally, the best player in the world, Carlos Alkaraz who won RG a month earlier. Was his draw a walk in the park according to you because he didn’t face… I don’t know… maybe Ben Shelton in the first round instead of some doubles specialist as if that would have mattered?😂 he won this one as fair as possible and pretty much against so many odds.

By the way , I just noticed in this video that Shelton was out, Airport's famous Karen was out. Rublev was out. Sinner was out due to some strange reasons, and was playing in Canada and Cincinatti. Hmmmm. These guys are like Sampras, who will never teach an new budding player of USA ever, which is a shame. Sampras should have coached atleast one player, and kept the flame burning since then by churning new extra skilled players in USA. Always played for his own records. Teach or give it to some more players. Not good.
