      Indeed it’s a Goooooooooooooooooood night to the GOAT Debate as well.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. It has to happen in such a way that he had to beat Nadal at the Olympic Tournament just in case someone will raise an argument that Novak never beat Nadal at the Olympic singles tournament to enter a rare Golden Slam Champion category of which
      Roger and Murray are not in that class. What more can you ask for?

      @@jonaschilonga81 Not just golden slam, but more like super slam, which is even better, it's when player in a ddition to olympic gold also wins Year-End Championships...other than Novak in men's tennis Agassi is the only other ATP player to have achieved that, Nadal as we know it is missing (and will now forever miss) Year-End Championships need for that distinction...only four people in singles have that if we combine ATP and WTA tours, two men (whose names i just listed) and two women - Steffi Graf and Serena Williams (both usually contend for the title of an ultimate female GOAT of tennis...)

    He has positive H2H with everyone. No other sportsman in any sport faced such adversity as Novak did. He's without a doubt greatest athlete that ever walked the earth!

      Doesn't have a positive h2h with Roddick. Doesn't change the fact he's the best of all time, but he just doesn't have best h2h with everyone. And he's the best tennis player of all time, best athlete is probably Messi. Won it all there is to win, made a show on the pitch, baffled everyone. But don't just stop there, let's give the full details for context: 5-4 Roddick, with all of Roddick's wins coming in 2008-10 vs a 20-23 yr old Djokovic before his dietary changes and prime years starting in 2011.

I like Djokovic but I just can't stand his fans. You people are always paranoic, always thinking that someone has something against him if he even states something about him that angers you and I'm pretty sure he isn't proud of your silly behavior, he seems a very "no nonsense" type of man.

    Wow. As a die-hard Federer fan, and after Roger's retirement having cheered for Nadal first and Alcaraz later, I must take my hat off and say: Djokovic is by far and without doubt the greatest man in the history of tennis. There has never been and likely there will never be one like him, at least not in my lifetime.
    I mean, not only he has now won absolutely everything that is there to win, every Slam 3 or more times, Year End finals 7 times, every single Master 1000 at least twice, teh Davis Cup, the Olympics. Not only he has been the best of the Big 3. But now that the old Big 3 are gone, the new Big 3 are here and he is still one of them, and arguably still the best of them too! Seriously WTF.

    • @Summon256
      @Summon256 21 день назад

      Tbf this season it doesn't feel like he is better than Sinner or Alcaraz...olympics is just sole exception...we'll see at his run at the USO if he can challenge either one between them in a BO5 in the final and win the title, if he wins then maybe i can agree he is still better than the two, but if he loses than all this talk is pointless...we'll, maybe he'll play inspired from winning that olympic gold and it'll help him being less tight than usual? We'll see in a couple of weeks...

    • @gmmgmmg
      @gmmgmmg 21 день назад

      @@Summon256 Consider that the Olympics were his No.1 goal of the 2024 season (he said that in January), and he has achieved it, beatin the best tennis player in the world (based on his wins of RG and Wimby) : Alcaraz. It's quite incredible.
      And in any case, he may or may not be better than Alacarz and Sinner at the moment, but it's irrelevant. He's up there with them, sometimes he's better (he was throughout 2023 with the only exception of the Wimbledon Final) sometime he's not. At 37 we can forgive him not being always 100% on form. But the new big 3 are here and he's still one of them. It's truly incredible. And believe me I'm far from being a fan of him.

Not one title this whole year (keep your 'he wasn't fit...' in your brainless box), his last attempt at Olympic gold, on his least favorite surface, and he wins it, against a player who's been on a roll winning majors and made this final? As I have been saying all along, since at least 2022, unless the ITF, ATP and Others look deep into any and all possible Briberies of all top 200 players, their bank accounts, cell and computers use (including Public), landline phones if possible, this novaq is not legitimate (in that period). When some players lose to him who should have likely not lost to him, it is a mental game against the others. There IS a serious Serbian mafia, too, and filthy rich white gamblers want their white knight to win more and more.,.,.][]

    Djokovic is giving Alcaraz invaluable lessons. Most generational talents come up strong and overturn the reigning champion(s) and there's little doubt who's the best. I've never seen this level of rivalry between players with this amount of years apart in age. While I still think Alcaraz at this time is overall the better player, Djokovic is without peer and truly the GOAT. This loss hurt Alcaraz but Djokovic's tennis IQ and strategizing talents will give Alcaraz a lot to draw from as he goes thru his career. Losses like this will only help him continue to become one of the greatest.

    Djokovic has now has one full set of Big Title Sweep and two sets of Annual Sweeps achieved, meaning that he has won all 15 highly coveted events in tennis all at least once in his career for the former and 14 annual events played yearly at least twice each for the latter! If he somehow manages to do the Murray thing and comeback to LA in four years to succesfuly defend his olympic title or two different surfaces consecutively (doubt it, but hey it's Djokovic, if there is one thin i learned it's nothing is impossible with this dude...especially when it comes to representing one's country, playing under serbian flag!), then he'll upgrade that other Annual Sweep into another Big Title Sweep and he will full collection of EACH of those 15 different events won at least twice each! If that actually happens, i think it will never even be matched, let alone surpassed, just like nobody can match Laver's two claendar slams anymore...that is one way to achieve true tennis immortality i supposed? If not by winning all 4 majors in a season, then by winning every elite title there is to win at least twice each? I think this will be a great answer of Djokovic to Laver's two Calendar Slams!...

If he was just calmer than, he should start beating Nadal there long time ago 2011-2015! And that final against fresh Wawrinka, he was just unlucky that tournament 🏟️ He beat Nadal, Murray, playing every day before that final, cause of the bad weather. And Wawrinka was relaxing cause he finished his match on time… And still Novak take first set, and then he just lost the stamina,gas tank! In your eyes top3 clay court player of all time. This is obvious, but is Borg better than Novak, thats questionable, Novak is even better than Rafa when in highest peak form on clay. Rafa of course has most titles on the surface, but is he better than Nole in Noles highest peak on clay. I dont think soo. But yeah Nole is 2nd best officialy on clay because of Rafas colorfull resime in that surface. Borg has 6 Rg to Novaks 3, but has 11 Masters to Borgs 6 or 7 or 8, i dont remember now. Of course is a clear statement putting Djokovic top3 all time on clay.
