Thank you for showing the basic principles of mounting a hydraulic cooler. My application is different and requires a different kit and solution but you gave some very good advice (60's tractor running a wood cleaver). I enjoy your videos, very explanatory in regards to hydraulic line functionality.
Just ordered one of these and will be looking forward to delivery in several weeks. I was a tad shocked the other day when I had a good run then happened to touch a cylinder. Getting ready to weld on 4 tie-down eyes/hooks. Have a hydraulic thumb and a quick coupler. Both are awesome. Will have to lengthen my thumb tines to work as I desire because of the extra coupler length( that will be my first welding project) I will cut up and use pieces from fixed thumb that came with machine. Less than 1 minute bucket change with 1 socket on that coupler if anyone is wondering. Custom did a 6 fan cooling system , mounted to back grills, sucking air through and out. Does a splendid job of cooling it all down. Wasn't sure if I could have wired it in so it has it's own 100ah deep-cycle to power it. Sitting on battery tray mounted behind seat . Probably use it to power this unit as well. Probably going to mount another fan on inside wall blowing into this unit for double the effect. Everything coming together. Stoked.

So the H15 we got that’s supposedly manufactured back in august has a giant filter on the high pressure side. Is one application better than the other? Would like to add cooler though

Does this eliminate the need to install push and pull fans that most people are installing? Also, any confirmation yet that this will fork on the ratio/predator engine? Great channel, btw!
Another great video Cam! Two questions: 1- I have mostly seen machines where the cooler is installed after the filter in the return line. Can you comment on the pros and cons of each approach? 2- Can you make a video that goes into the specifics and explains how the different components of a dual circuit pump with flow divider valve (with safety solenoid, accumulator and filter) and joysticks operate on machines such as the H15?
1) The filter being at the very end of the system ensures all contaminants are removed prior to the fluid entering the reservoir. If the filter was first, then potentially the cooler could have particles inside it that would be sent directly to the sump.
I have an AGT DM12-C and want to get a hydraulic filter on it. I don't see that you offer a "kit" for that model. But maybe you can tell me if the fittings are the same across most machines? M22x1.5? Maybe i can put something together myself?
Friend, does this seem to make a circuit? Is the hose coming from the oil tank the one connected to the filter? And then another one comes out of the radiator to the inlet valve, and the return one goes to the pump? Is that how it is, or the other way around
The battery disconnect switch makes the chassis ungrounded. You can tough the positive directly to the frame all day long and there’s no current path to ground
@@thegarageconnection , Agree the switch does cut the connection to ground. I have seen three switch’s fail . Something to think about in an instructional video….
Hi, just bought an FF12, and it has a hydraulic filter mounted behind the seat in the engine compartment. Also, my hydraulic tank is mounted under the floor on the right. Would I need this kit or just install the fan kit. Thanks
was looking at getting a H15 is it a good machine like all your upgrades so you are going to build more kits after the first of the year the one I'm looking at the guy is firm at $4500 and he'll give a 9 piece attachment kit for $500 so $5,000 for it all pretty good deal I think thanks Brian

I have the AGT QH12R with the R420 engine (not the briggs engine). Will this cooler/filter kit work for this one? Ive noticed on mine the psi rating of the hydraulic hoses are 7000 psi and on the H12R they are rated for 5000 psi.

Is that red arrow pointed inward? Wouldn't we want the fan to blow the hot air out of the engine bay rather than in? Also, what LPM is this cooler?

That filter only serves the pilot controls and won’t filter all the fluid

a trick to prevent the loss of fluid from the tank is put a shop vac on the fill without the cap on and it will hold it most in.

Best time to add a float charger pig tail to keep your battery topped off when not being used.

Disconnect - battery terminal before doing any work on machine. That + battery terminal is a major short hazard.
