Ice Fishing on a Beautiful Frozen River in Lapland, Finland

When I first heard the term "ICE FISHING", I was quite curious to see how it works. Well, during the winter, the lakes and rivers of the Arctic Circle freeze completely, which also makes it possible to walk on ice. Besides, the frozen surface offers tons of other possibilities.
Ice fishing is just one of the local activities in Lapland. While staying at an Airbnb, I had the incredible opportunity to experience ice fishing up close with my host.
After all, we ended up not catching any fish. I later learned that catching a fish is not the purpose. It's more about slowing down, reflecting on your thoughts, and admiring the nature around you.
