The fairy in the orange tutu is really a standout
i'm dancing this variation for a festival 😁
This is not the main Mariinsky Company world renowned. This is the small Primorsky Mariinsky company based in Vladivostok (still very good however).
I was just about to say...this isn't the ballet I'm used to from the Mariinsky.. I'm glad to hear it isn't.

Yes you can easily see the difference if you know something about ballet 😏
I remember that music was also used as soundtrack in Walt Disney's Sleeping Beauty but George Bruns had adapted its music for this movie
And Bruns did a very decent job. Having to work with the music of someone who had passed away 50 years earlier and having to introduce it to a mass modern audience of the 1950s.

the first fairy ending choreography looks weird to me for some reason 3X

Солистки танцуют на уровне среднего провинциального театра. Если уж смотреть,то,конечно, только спектакль из Петербурга.
