This is how Joe Rogan knows who to have on next. RUclips comments. That's why he always says, "comment below who you want on next kids!!!!!" at the end of every show.
This is how this works.
Chris Stone who hurt you? Soooo edgy!
Trey does the work
@Jesus Christ I don't think Joe goes in with a script of what to talk about though. Trey and Matt Parker probably have lots of stories working in the business
@@AQGOAT24 The time they went to the Oscars in dresses while tripping on acid comes to mind.
We absolutely need the Black Keys podcast where they talk shit and showcase new music.
Yes.
Seth Reed -I’ve seen a bunch of JRE episodes and this is the first one I’ve ever watched until the very end, absolutely gold!
Many times yes.
Time to make a petition
One of the funniest podcasts in a while
"I don't know what I'm talking about man... I'm a drummer"
I don't listen to a lot of music. never really listened to black keys either. But if these guys had a podcast I don't think I would miss an episode. Joe is right. they are so entertaining to listen to.
Smoke some weed and listen to some good music bro
Their music is bomb, been a fan since they released rubber factory.
Bro listen to the black keys rn
Trent Reznor would be an amazing guest. I'm holding out hope it'll happen one of these days.
@ nope
He would never do it
He did Quakes music, there is hope
oh fuck yeah
Jason Drummer no fucking way?!
11:14 Patrick Carney has a golden nugget, that got overlooked:
"it looks like he finally found bigfoot!"
"It goes in the juul"
11:10 correct it it's late ;) but it was not so good at all, super easy
omgad you are so right. that was gold
Yea shit was perfect and nobody caught it lol
I know! Everyone should have keeled over in laughter!!! Dan truly cracked my shit up.
Joe “how many Red Bull’s does it take, before it becomes speed” Rogan
For research purposes ofc

Great interview.
I’m an Akron boy who got suckered into going to the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, too. After I graduated, their job placement department called me with a job opportunity....as a clown at a kid’s birthday party. I was like, “How is this related to art?” They said, “You’d be face painting and making balloon animals.” I shit you not. I did eventually end up as a creative director in NYC, so there’s that.
I’d love to know which instructor told Pat to get out of the school, though I have an idea.
Anyway, the Black Keys have done Akron proud. seem like good guys.
Keith M Unfortunately, the Art Institute of Pittsburgh recently went out of business, or you could have spent $40,000 a year to get a worthless art degree that would have opened doors to your clown fantasy.
@Keith M you had me there for a second
Joe should hire actual scientists.

Emt !!! Brooo!!! Zzzzzzzzz
😍❤️🧐
Anytime in the future you get the urge to talk to Brendan Schwab on here call up Pat instead.
Austin Bolger Schaub is unbearable to listen to. It’s like listening to ANY cliche frat dude talk bro talk
@@headfullofacid8088 he dresses like a 35 year old trying to play a sophomore in highschool. Also without someone who is actually funny carrying him, he is truly unbearable to listen to.
Austin Bolger yeah you’re right the way he dresses is ridiculous
Haters
Bit mean!
"The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side." ~ Hunter S. Thompson
Dudes buddy with the beard is super chill the “second-guess ” like barely talks doesn’t interrupt but when he does speak it’s nice and goes with the flow of the conversation. I like them
The young old man drummer guy is dope as well. Fucking funny
David Moore check out their music. It’s even better trust me
That’s dan Auerbach he’s the singer
Dan is a god on the guitar
Cus he knows his homeboys blown
God damn stupid shit, have you ever heard of punctuation? Should try it sometime.
It was refreshing listening to their take on the music industry
Quite
JRE is the greatest podcast to ever grace RUclips. Agreed?
Not sure, can you explain why you believe that?
Uncle Joey's church , n hot boxing Mike tyson
@@dawn-blade is in the house that must mean its true.
Love ya, Josh!
Brend@n says his podcast is better when Joe's nto around
This episode should've actually been titled: "Joe Rogan Experience #1354 - The Black Key"
Dan was on the show once previously to this episode. Because of that, they decided they would just let the world see what a character Pat is. If you want to see more of Dan talking, look up his episode of JRE where it was just him.
I thought Dan was looking unwell , then I realised he is just really baked.
Reminds me of " Half Baked"
He does looked a bit sickly. Like gray skin, dark circles under his eye.
Also does he do dip? Looked like he has a lip packed too.
@@BradyIsAfagInHeat He is always looking like that, even in their first album in 2002
Not baked. Unwell...cancer...
He's got the blues man
The black keys and white stripes should form a new mega band called "Piano"
OR ZEBRAS
Jack White hates the Black Keys. Especially Dan Auerbach.
Lol they are enemies for real
Jack white has big beef with the those two
@@elperronimo Damn, I had no idea
Lmao that “I think he found Bigfoot” comment flew waaaay under the radar 😂
0:11:10 Dan Auerbach's bigfoot comment deserves more love. A+
JRE replaces television. Never related more lol let's do this thang
ENJOY YOUR PROGRAMMING...
Hahahahaha
Love they're talking about the dangers of smoking while Dan quietly chain smokes off camera
Smoking a joint
Thought that was a cone packed joint
It's all you can do when you're fucking silent. If he could get a word in edge-wise he'd probably had saved 11 cigarettes
@@TimTrOn3000 he was smoking a joint and he smoked the same one joint the whole time
@@TimTrOn3000 he was smoking a joint and he smoked the same one joint the whole time
Dan is stoned out of his mind, that's one for Arcs fans right there
They're all stoned. Notice it started with smoke and a stoner conversation already in progress. Good for them.
But he made it
@@ribbles1699 huh?
I think peeped a joint in Dan's hand at one point
@@sharicola8870 blunt sir
I could’ve watch 9 hours of this
Absolutely
wow, throwing Jamie out with the bath water in the first 3 minutes: "I need a scientist on staff to check stuff" - Guess an A in physics doesn't cut it
Burn 😂😂😂😂
He did get an A tho....
Jamie approves this message
Same thought I had
Eddie Bravo likes this*
Pat is amazing and at no point annoying. Thickfreakness brother
YESSS. LOVE thickfreakness. Hurt like mine. Amazing song!
I was just thinking of that song when Joe said he loves Sinister Kid! That album man...what an album!
at no point annoying? He can´t finish a fucking sentence without saying "like" twice or more. That´s hardcore annoying
Eddie Kirby agreed 100%
Sune jørgensen cool bro
I fully agree with Joe, I think pat and dan should make a podcast of their own!!
Classic combo... a big talker and a sounding board to keep him going.
This will go in the section of podcasts I listen to 10-15 times over the next several years.
Joe should have more music guests. Though maybe not as many will be as entertaining as Patrick anyway.
Fergal McBride watch the Billy Corgan episode.... so good!
First Dan Aykroyd, then Rob Zombie, and now Shooter McGavin. Joe is on a roll!
LMAOOO
Alex Jones next
Lmao yessssss shooter
Do the chickens have large talons?
@Kermit of Rivia Not at all. I am not a human nor a chicken. I am an idea. No need to mate.
Joe Rogan is definitely my Oprah too. I feel you bro....
Same as. But i do wonder when joe dies, who is gonna replace him? Theres no podcast thats like j.r.e. il just watch re-runs like how i used to watch top gear re-runs as a kid
hes not oprah until he starts giving guests free cars
Him and his crew are my Kardashians.
100%
I’m now a Black Keys fan thanks to this interview
Enjoy my friend. All of there music is golden.
Daniel Young Turn Blue is perfect for getting high
Black Keys are phenomenal. Love the sound!
They don’t have any bad music man. I love their stuff
I use to work at a zipper factory back in 2009 and black keys music got me through the day, Life savers.
Just think how fast your days could have moved with good music.
They have a whole factory dedicated to zippers?
YKK?
A zipper factory wtf lol
I’m not even a Black Keys fan and they are my heroes right now.
Brian Roberts Definitely
I don't appreciate their music but holy shit this a great.
@@seroskal9354 Why not?

You, too?
"Let me be your everlasting light." - DMT to Joe Rogan
Bet he won't talk about those other forces that talk to him
That album is so fuckin good.
When I saw this Podcast got Uploaded I started humming that to myself lmao
Speaking of that, Tomorrow will be my first experience and it can be directly traced to Joe talking about that started me researching it. Been a long time coming. It’s very rare something lives up to the hype. I hope DMT is one of em. Wish me luck !
@@jairocarvajalxd that song is beautiful.
This podcast should be in the curriculum for anyone making any type of music and wants to make it. This is certified gold. Thank you.
Joe: “I need a science advisor, like a real scientist on staff who knows things”
Joe, do I need to remind you that young Jamie got an A in physics?
@Phil Ill Just for a second just think how much better his life is than yours.
I didn't think I could love these two any more, but holy fuck, these guys are _the FUCKIN guys_ ...
So cool, and down to earth. I love it!!!
Can’t name you a single Black Keys song. Instantly top 5 most enjoyable JREs of all time. Great surprise.
you've probably heard them though, good stuff.
Ten cent pistol.
Try that out.
Their new album and El Camino were basically pop songs with guitar riffs. Turn Blue was more personal and honest, but I didn't really like it. Brothers and everything before is good (Thickfreakness, The Big Come Up, Rubber Factory, Magic Potion, Attack and Release, and Brothers, in order of goodness), but Chulahoma EP really stands out. I don't think they play any of those songs live unfortunately.
@@InnerDness I think rob zombie was talking about you the other day lol
Rubber Factory is my personal favorite for some stripped down minimalist blues rock
Tuning in from the Ohio Valley in West Virginia. These guys are such an inspiration to musicians everywhere. Truly genuine dudes.
Absolutely the most interesting podcast I have ever heard....there must be a follow up to this discussion...they simply can not fit everything into 3 hours....I could sit through at least 9 hours of this....thank you JRE....
Amen
Dan Auerbach always looks like he hasn't slept in weeks
Cocaine is a helluva drug
@Bjarne Brennøysaker He's also mean to puppies and runs out to the sidewalk and trips school children as they pass by his house in the morning.
I've never seen him not look like that.
Its the cigarettes. He smokes about 2 to 3 packs a day. He smoked 6 cigs within 40 min of the vid
Bjarne Brennøysaker your probably the biggest hater I’ve ever seen. Look how much time u took out your life to write that up. And I’m guessing it’s not the first time
One of the best JRE podcasts ever. Pat def needs to make his own podcast for sure
I kept thinking how these guys looked familiar. I didn't even realize that they worked at Quonset hut records. I would get Swensons Burger and some new music every time I got paid. wild, now that I realize who they were.
That's what's up.
J T where and when was that ?
I guess the guy who sings is tired of talking and the drummer never gets to talk
if you look at their interviews this is typically the dynamic; Pat yammering on and Dan high as fuck, giggling his ass off and maybe adding a few hot takes here and there
@@sampomme I think it's a great dynamic. You can tell they're both having fun.
Giving pat the glory he deserves
the singer has done a Joe Rogan podcast by himself if you're interested

Im pretty sure Dan is over in the corner HIGH AF!!!
