JACK YOU LIVE IN A BEAUTIFUL NEIGHBORHOOD AND BEAUTIFUL WORLD OF PLANTS AND FLOWERS!!!!! DID YOU NOT KNOW LIVING IN A GARDEN IS SO VERY HEALTHY FOR US!!!!! THAT IS THE WAY GOD INTENDED FOR US TO LIVE!!!!!!!!!
You are fabulous Jack! What a gardening stud!
💚💝THANKS 💚💝DRIFTWOOD GARDEN CENTER 💚💝
I just love your enthusiasm!!
Now.thats a garden center they have everything .i could spend my day there
Laura brought me to this channel, but Jack kept me here!
The Jack in the pot was fun too !
Such a cool place. Must be nice to have a huge selection of tropicals in one place. Here in north Texas , I have to do a lot of shopping around. Looking at that nursery’s selection makes me really want to use orchids and bromeliads in potting arrangements this spring.
Jack, adoro assistir seus vídeos. Tank you 😊
The tiny pots are great for making wreaths, as they are not too heavy and they still invoke the garden theme. I would use them to start seedlings and baby shoots from my spider plant and succulents. P.S. Could you please design a garden around drought tolerant plants that require little water and are NOT invasive. I would be extremely interested in that tutorial!! Blessings to you and your Family!!
I was here the other day!
At 11:00 mins on the video ... A succulent would go in that tiny pot 🌿
Great info thanks!
Great nursery thanks for sharing
Thank you. That was a refreshing and wonderful tour of the Driftwood Garden Center. Laura from How's It Growing uses the little terracotta pots upside down on her green plant stakes. It's a great finishing touch to a row of dahlias in her garden.
Awesome tour! I have papyrus growing outside in the ground in my yard. My Hong Kong Orchid shrub is a reddish orange color. I heard there are at least 250 varieties of palms.
Do you ever see any topiary frames when you are out and about? I like the trees sized ones.
I mean the cone shaped topiary frames.
I like watching how happy plants make you. It makes me connect with the plant experience myself even more.
Thank you for the tour. What an amazing nursery! RE: the cute terra cotta pots; I use them to pot up seedling cactus and succulents and I can write the IDs in pencil right on the pots.
Great idea!
What a fun place to just pass the time...
REally enjoyed this tour of Driftwood..
Hey Jack, this video is awesome! Little tiny Spider Plants could fit in the tiny clay pots. I’ll. Be ordering from Driftwood . Thank yo😍
Sweet! :-) love, love plants :-) :-)
Well said! Thank you so much!
Love the tropical plants,, like when you hide in huge container
Great place. You made me smile ty
10:28 That was adorable, I love to see when people get excited for what others would considered mundane.
Hey Jack, where’s your signature hat😂 thanks for the much needed tour
Thank you, it was a beautiful tour!
Really enjoyed this tour. Beautiful place. Thank you!!
The Hong Kong orchids are called bauhinia ☺️
Jack Barnwell is so knowledgeable, it's astounding considering Mackinac Island and Naples are polar opposite gardening Zones. His experience and knowledge is incredible!
Coming up out of that big pot was pretty funny!
I so appreciate you doing this video with a nursery in Naples. We actually bought a property in Punta Gorda and I'm looking for plants as soon as our home is built and I wanted to check out different nursery centers in the area. Love your videos. Thank you!
i use the tiny lil pot for my fairy gardens it adds the special touch for miniatures!!!
Thanks for the much needed break from the doom and gloom. It's nice to see all the beauty that awaits us. Hope springs eternal! Stay healthy! 🌻🌷🌿🌸💚
Great relaxing tour!! YOU popping out of that pot was a hilarious addition! Great sense of humor! Thanks!
You showed the orchid pots with holes , would you plant the orchid in it with bark (without the liner it came in)? Or would you slide the orchid that's in the liner down in the pot?
Yes~ without the liner
Jack Barnwell Design thank you ! I'll repot my 2 orchids this week 🌿✌️
Ok...you’re 😆!! I actually have some little starter succs in those cute teeny pots that I set in an old roasting pan of more succs out under the pergola! Loved this tour BTW!! NEW SUBBIE HERE😁
Thanks!!!
Jack the pot head 🙂 No cowboy hat this time ! Thanks for the tour.
Saw you guys filming that day! Thanks for showcasing our store~ :) And yeah, I work up in the bedding section, and I freak out at the tiny pots every time I walk by, too.
The prices at that center are fantastic! Up here in North GA I would have to pay nearly double 😞 and would never have that big of a selection. FL is blessed with great plant sources. Enjoyed browsing with you!
Love the tour. As for those 1 1/2” pots, I hang them on top of some of my stakes so I don’t poke my eyes out 😂
Great idea! We wouldn’t want that!!
Miss your trademark hat. Would be broke if Driftwood was here in Missouri
I love evolvus!
Do you water bromeliads in the cup? Thanks for the tour!
Love the garden walk. I live in central maine and I just can’t wait to get into my gardens.🌺🌸🌾🌿
Jack, I didn't recognize you without your hat! Thank you so much for a fun tour of Driftwood. With all the craziness going on I have been going to different garden centers in my area (Boston) to check out all the plants. Orders for spring planting are just arriving so it has been helpful in alleviating the stress and planning my garden. I'm amazed at your knowledge of plant material especially seeing that you work in such different climates. I really enjoy listening to your thoughts and experiences with different plants. Also, I saw Laura's video today where she potted up a sleek black aquapot. Keep up the tours, they're great! Looking forward to more content on RUclips. Keep safe.
Jack so cute 😍
Oh my gosh the pots 🧡 it looks so relaxing there. I can’t wait until it gets warmer up here
💚💝JEHOVAH YHWH BLESS YOU BROTHER JACK, SISTER KAREN, REED, RIVER, BROTHER EMMMERY, RACHEL, GRAND MOMA, AND FAMILY ALWAYS 💚💝THANKS 💚💝LOVELY 💚💝LOYAL LOVE FOREVER.
Jack looks so different without his hat! I would put some type of bulb in each of those little baby pots and put it on the window sill of my kitchen and just watch it grow.
Great idea!!
You could use the tiny pots in a fairy garden
Or as cover for string of outside lights
for sure! great idea!!
In addition those little pots can be used to put a succulent in it as a party favour such as in a bridal shower. That seems to be the ‘in’ thing to do , in Canada anyway!
We miss the hat. But thank you for the colors
Hehe.... Some days, down in Florida... it's so warm and sunny I wear a big straw hat... and that one shades out my face so much that I can't wear it when we film... However, I never have my trusty leather barmah too far away so it'll be in many more videos to come I'm sure.... it's like my safety blanket!
So beautiful! Can’t wait for warmer weather in Ohio! 💚🌿
Jack, why did you bypass the milkweed and other butterfly 🦋host plants?
We buy come to Driftwood at least once a month to buy Butterfly Host plants, such as Milkweed for Monarchs, Citrus trees for Giant Swallowtails, Passion-vines for Gulf Fritillaries, etc.
Thank you so much for this video! Michigander here and was planning on a pilgrimage to see Mackinac Isalnd for the first time with my girlfriend this summer! Dont know if we can yet, with work and all but I hope to see one of you and your team's amazing gardens soon! Stay safe 🤜🤛
Much appreciated!! I grew up in a zone 10 and now live in zone 5, I prefer having 4 seasons but it was great to see some color. Had my mulch and plants delivered this year...gardening makes staying home no problem!
You are the Indiana Jones of gardeners. You have to wear your hat....lol
Enjoyed that very much! Good thing I don’t live near that garden center ...all my income would go to pots!
I’m confused. Do you live in Florida or Mackinac Island? You can do it all !
Both! We operate a business in Naples and On Mackinac Island~ so.... pretty busy!
Nice job! Please pop up the name of plants on screen.
Howdy Jack
🤠
Howdy
Just out of curiosity, when do you head up north?
Usually I would have been starting some trips back and forth to fire up the team up north and get things started, but this year is obviously a different animal~ we hope to start by May up north~
That tiny pot needs a little succulent!
Use tokyo sun in the tiny pots
Jack at 13:23 what is that red plant it's beautiful
I think you are referring to the “auntie Lou” cordyline...
@@JackBarnwellDesign thank you
Do you live in the winter in Florida? It would make sense.
Yes~ in the winter we run a business in Naples, called C3 Gardens... in the summer we are in Northern Michigan!
Tiny pots = baby succulents.
You need to be more specific when you say all year long as you know 80% of the country you cannot grow them all year as you said many times...mentioning zone on that beautiful orchid tree and such will not grow in zone 6. At least when you show a beautiful tree mention zone.
You look different without your hatk
You’re super cute Jack...
Thanks!
Really enjoyed this tour. Beautiful place. Thank you!!
