Yeah when my boy Batman showed up in his series he told him that he's not going to have no vigilantes running wild and his city. At least Batman wouldn't level a whole city like Superman and his rouge gallery of villains
Not surprised by Lex's reaction at all. "They're gonna outbreed us and conquer the earth!" It's not likely that Kryptonian populations would flourish very soon, but from the Earthling standpoint, for all we know, a Kryptonian matures from child to adult in a couple of weeks. A few love sessions and the new king and queen could create a lasting dynasty. Also, we know that Supes himself is strong. Just Kal, Mala, and their son could be enough to conquer half of the world at least.
Superman wasn’t always the brightest.. let me teach you not only how to use your powers, but hand to hand combat and THEN consider sending you back to the phantom zone.
It amazes me how sometimes characters are created with the intention of being villains and the clue to this is in the meaning of their name, as Sinestro is. And now I find out that there is a Kryptonian named Mala. Wow...
Yeah. Easterbrook voiced her in the first episode. In the second, she was voiced by Sarah Douglas who had previously played Ursa in the Superman movies, whom Mala is inspired by. :)
I don't fully blame Mala. Only one attempt of crime fighting, Which she did very well besides being cocky, Superman is talking about sending her to prison just because. Imagine an inmate serving his long sentence, then while he's doing his work, the Parole officer randomly says, "Nah, put him back in prison."
Thats what im saying like bro, wtf. And everyone had the nerve to be like “ superman did this??” After they just saw a crook sitting through a broken wooden box. Like cmon now, is that seriously the craziest thing you’ve seen superman “done”? her first attempt was cool, it aint like she brutally murdered all the suspects and hung them out to dry, She did the job. Yet, superman was looking at her crazy, Idk as you can tell that shit rubbed me the wrong way. Thought I was the only one that felt like this. Lol
I gotta agree that considering the circumstances, Superman considering sending her back to the Phantom Zone was jumping the shark. Before he made that contemplation, releasing Jax-Ur to conquer Earth wasn't even a thought. I get that Superman was ultimately trying to think of the safety of Metropolis after the fact and she was rough with the criminals, but she was still acclimating to her new strength and powers. True he's not a traditionally taught fighter but he does have the advantage that he knows how to fight while flying. Any martial artist can tell you, being able to throw an opponent off balance is pretty important. When everyone can float that leads to a whole new set of mechanics.
Others have streets smarts ,Clark has Farm smarts. 5:48 there's something funny to point out here. You hear and see this guy hanging for dear life for a solid six seconds; then he *poofs* out of existence the moment Superman slams Mala into the van where they have a hilarious yet awesome fist fight in the falling van before it crashes down.
I mean, Mala isn’t wrong in a way calling Superman the ruler of Earth. He technically is as he’s the most powerful being on the planet, he just chooses to enforce their laws, and shares their values. If he really was a non-partisan Alien, he wouldn’t get involved.
She was a soldier following orders when she was captured. The true villain was the powers she let get over her head. If Superman mentored Mala to be a “good” minded individual the situation wouldn’t have escalated to the situation that happened. She may have sacrificed herself to save Superman resulting in her spaghettification taking down the evil commander or would have joined other groups like Wonder Woman amazones
Fun fact: Mala means Little on Serbian language. Also oftenly used as an immature joke calling girl on Balkan known as a fact of she being smaller than most males.

Superman tas has Mala, Lois, Lanna, Supergirl, Maxima, Myxspetilic's girlfriend, Livewire, Valcanna, and the female furries from Darkseid.
Does Granny Goodness count as a babe? I ain't judging.
This Superman never felt like a god but a really strong guy who would make mistakes and see the hood in people and though he would lose sometimes he always saved the day
I know what you really ment and I agree. But the sentence "Superman sees the hood in people" made me laugh
@@ingobernoble2678 I just saw it too and I ain’t changing it😂💀
Superman respects people's gangsta 😂
Words cannot describe how good this series is!!
The whole DCAU is a masterpiece
Most of dc animation and animated movies are too good...unlike marvel whom the most of their animated universe is garbage
Clark is the spiritual son of Kansas; Mala is the spiritual daughter of Thanagar.
She was a fun character, wish she was used more
“hahahahahaha! You’re defenseless against us.”
And THATS when he should have sit her ass down and had a very serious talk. I bet it was there that the doctor decided that Cadmus had a point
“You’re defenseless against us.”
Yea I would’ve went to Cadmus too 😂
Surprised Hamilton didn't mention that shit when Superman gave him grief for betraying him.
@@EmptyMan000he did genius
In her second appearance, Mala was voiced by Sarah Douglas, who played Ursa in Superman 2. Fitting, given that Jax-ur is a General Zod like character.
11:16 Exactly
scientists: boys are hitting puberty earlier than ever and we don't know why! saturday morning cartoons:
Mala allies herself with powerful people. She's not a criminal. She's a sidekick.
With all the destruction and damage to public property, no wonder Lex hates him.
Insurance rates in metropolis are sky high 🤣🤣🤣
Yeah when my boy Batman showed up in his series he told him that he's not going to have no vigilantes running wild and his city. At least Batman wouldn't level a whole city like Superman and his rouge gallery of villains
Didn't realize what a horn dog Mala was
She's been in the phantom zone for 20 years. Of course she craves some strange, if you know what I mean.
@aaronstevenson4136 yeah who wouldn't be don't do the crime if you can't do the crime
A what
Her outfit is so badass. It really looks like government official/soldier outfit.
I can't be the only one who had a crush on Mala when I was little 🥰
I already had kids with her. You can have her now.😁
I mean she is a super sexy muscle mommy.
Not surprised by Lex's reaction at all. "They're gonna outbreed us and conquer the earth!"
It's not likely that Kryptonian populations would flourish very soon, but from the Earthling standpoint, for all we know, a Kryptonian matures from child to adult in a couple of weeks. A few love sessions and the new king and queen could create a lasting dynasty.
Also, we know that Supes himself is strong. Just Kal, Mala, and their son could be enough to conquer half of the world at least.
Love sessions lol
All that and Clark's toughest mission was to explain to Louis what Marla meant with the kiss.
Superman wasn’t always the brightest.. let me teach you not only how to use your powers, but hand to hand combat and THEN consider sending you back to the phantom zone.
Meathead… dead from the neck up.
3:38 YUP! Staying in the Phantom Zone for WAY BEYOND her intended sentence has traumatized her.
How long was she supposed to be trapped?
@@mcbdllc2848 20 years.
mala is a total muscle mommy.
It amazes me how sometimes characters are created with the intention of being villains and the clue to this is in the meaning of their name, as Sinestro is. And now I find out that there is a Kryptonian named Mala. Wow...
Yet another underrated Superman villain.
He has plenty of villains.
Interesting Concept of a character. Love it
4:02 damn Clark your own kind
They’re both adults, but I love how Mala is possibly twice if not more the age of Kal and is still into him. Cougar indeed
Leslie Easterbrook did a good job as the voice of Mala.
To be fair superman simply considered it.
Hell, Superman even failed to tell Mala the purpose of the police. I can't help but conclude that Superman did Mala dirty.@@blackwolfdavinci575
@@fightingmedialounge519 Mala got mad that she was rejected by Superman & hurt her pride even worse when Superman chose a mere human over her. That's when she lost her marbles. Everyone put their back on her even the only one left of her kind.
@@lagopusvulpuz1571 except super choose Lois and that Mala was instead jumping to conclusions based on her own insecurities.
There might be some characters I can introduce into my book for DC Comics some that should never be long forgotten.
Give some names
Give some names
So basically, she went off the deep end because she offered Superman a piece of ass and he turned her down.
Mala was so fine. I wish she was DC canon.
Man if Mala stayed good perhaps she and superman would make a good couple.
1:52 she’s a keeper
I feel like Superman was holding back in this fight a lot like a lot
With a name like "Mala", who could have guessed she would turn out to be evil??
that fight between mala and superman in the van looks like movie scene that would actually happen
The original Mala from the comic books was actually a different character, for one thing Mala was a man in the comic books, and instead of serving Jax-Ur, he was always a bad guy on Krypton along with his brothers, Kizo and U-Ban. The Animated Series version actually has a lot in common with a completely different character named Maxima, who also appeared in the Animated Series as a super strong potential love interest for Superman who Clark had no interest in. In the comics, Maxima actually does become a good guy and joins the Justice League International (which was also the JL that fought Doomsday in the famous Death of Superman comic).
I just assumed Mala and Jaxor were more heavily influenced by the lads from the Superman 2 movie.
Moral of the story.... Stop watching the news
20 years in prison and that winged eyeliner is still on fleek
I had a crush on Mala as a kid.
That mail truck fight was baller
Mala is THICC af!
Totally
Than a snicker
Mala was a viltrumite (in personality) and we didn't even realize it.
Mala got a huge... widows peak.
Vegeta would go for her as well.
Superman definitely not a Street fighter, Martial Artist or military trained. Mala is with a smile!! Love her character
He doesnt have too many kung fu moves but He Fights with His Environment which also really helpful and He uses His brain way more than people give him Credit for. There IS a reason why He defeats villains that neutralize His superpowers very easily but still cannot Beat the farmboy
Man it’s fascinating how Superman and Luther can accidentally make enemies
“The council was sympathetic to Mala”
A court system giving a woman a lighter sentence? Sounds like Krypton is more like Earth than we thought
It sucks they never did a proper Zod storyline. Would have been perfect for the JLU series.
Who else would like to see a free-for-all between the saiyans, viltramites and kryptonians?
Dang. I does literally know and remember Mala by Superman. She's just very kindness hot female. I couldn't believe she's meeting Superman. 😅😍😍
I never realized that scientist was in the TAS
Emil Hamilton, an ally of Superman.
@@right_hand_power7960 ex ally.
@@DepoverS yeah, wasn't this the same scientist that made Galatea in JL?
@@right_hand_power7960 Until he became his enemy.
I didn't include how Hamilton turned against him, because I didn't want to spoil it for people who haven't seen JLU. Hamilton is, or at least, was, in the actual DC universe, and there he also followed a similar path as the Hamilton of the DCAU, occasionally shifting between ally to heros, and a villain himself.
Sorry to disappoint you, Mala, but Superman has got Lois Lane.
Even though it's true they can rebuild their race... But... Oh well

4:07-4:17 that’s right. You have Jax Ur of your own.
lois treats him like shit and doesnt give af about Clark aka who he really is... literally any other chick (like Volcana or Wonder Woman) would be better for clark
Couldn't agree more Lois is the only one for superman
5:48 there's something funny to point out here. You hear and see this guy hanging for dear life for a solid six seconds; then he *poofs* out of existence the moment Superman slams Mala into the van where they have a hilarious yet awesome fist fight in the falling van before it crashes down.
Oh shit you're right😆 Guess he died and superman just...didn't care.
Yeah he's gone
This probably would have gone smoothly if certain people had said fewer words
Mala prove to me she is strongest women in the world and than superman ,, she crush his skull very easily woow 👏🏻👏🏻
Couldn't have been me . I would've caved in and started repopulating 😂
Mala was One of my favorite Female characters from the BM and SM series!
Mala would make an excellent viltriumite 😂 shes got that conquer the planet instict in her.
Matrices in the sky scene was fire 🔥
Dust: 7:09 This is *way* funnier than it has any business being.
I mean, Mala isn’t wrong in a way calling Superman the ruler of Earth. He technically is as he’s the most powerful being on the planet, he just chooses to enforce their laws, and shares their values. If he really was a non-partisan Alien, he wouldn’t get involved.
Not what being a rule means.
Thank you, Superman, for bringing the supercriminal back.
Probably wasn't the best call, But it's not like he was gonna leave her in the Phantom Zone for all of eternity.
In his defense she did serve her sentence. Probably should've found a planet with a red sun though.
Fun fact: Mala means Little on Serbian language.
Also oftenly used as an immature joke calling girl on Balkan known as a fact of she being smaller than most males.
Mala means evil in Spanish
I like how it takes ruckus for people to see strange clothes individuals in the same vicinity.
That fight they had in the van was kind of sick, actually.
Why does Superman let just about anything hit him? Lul
3:30 Lex's comment and her response to it are red flags
3:37 reasonable response I'm sure
Rewatching this. Superman is guilty of leading her on. He said nothing when she hugged him and kissed him on the mouth. Big mistake!
He was by an old Time Farmer WHO lived outside the City and was told to BE nice . My farmboy IS very weak against City Girls and assertive women. I mean how could Jonathan know that His sons Rookie mistakes in Dating the wrong Girl could be that devasting?
Mala would be an awesome anti-hero if dc brings her back tbh
This is why Superman needs Batman. Superman screwed up the whole situation while Batman would've found a way to keep her under control. She didn't start off evil. She just wanted to be useful at first.
Just like how Batman kept Jason in control?
@@ChadBenjamin Mhm, its like people FAIL or no *REFUSE* to accept Batman has had more blood on his hands than anyone in the league.
Keep her under control, huh? Jason Todd says hi.
Seems like most of you don't know the difference between manipulating a neutral situation to avoid a negative one and raising your kids. Batman know the difference and Batman knows which one is harder.
@@Kagamid There IS no difference between those two things, you know that right? In order to raise kids, you have to try and keep control, or at the very least neutral. Guess who failed spectacularly at that the second time around? I'll give you a hint, he's got pointy black ears, control freak tendencies, and the emotional comprehension of a sea slug. Besides, knowing him, his first instinct probably would have been to depower her entirely, or throw her back into the phantom zone just cause.
There is also Faona who serves General Zod. I was really happy to see Zod appear in My Adventures With Superman along with Brainiac! 🤩🤩🤩
If Mala wants to have a relationship with Kar ai this is Alabama.

IIRC, Mala exists because they couldn't get the rights to General Zod.
But hey, they gave us this babe.
She was already a original character in the comics
This was cute. Zod but with romance
This is exactly why I’m glad Kryptonians are pretty much extinct. This species is too dangerous to exist. Superman is just lucky to be taken in by good people so his power doesn’t corrupt him.
The fact that Kryptonians are so intelligent and have the potential to be dangerously strong is scary. It's weird they didn't try to take over planets like the Viltrumities. An alternative universe of Kryptonians ruling would be awful
The earth was just lucky that he fell down a deep ravine and hit his head while he was a child.
@@googleuser7454 Ah yes so the Injustice comics exist, although Clark is the only living Kryptonian to realize that, his cousin Kara with the help of the insurgents choice to help stop him, its a good read.
To bad super criminals exist regardless, they all see Earth as a problem because humans are in fact too dangerous to exist, yall off each other in the millions cause of the need to feel above each other, mean while cosmic level beings point n laugh knowing they can snap their fingers and we cease to exist. Why is it every Kryptonian, that doesn't obey superman, he tries to get rid of ?
Because they are dangerous and strong enough to off him and everybody else
Professor Hamilton had a lot of reasons to fear supers.
the mistake was releasing the general of a failed Kryptonian coup on Earth. Obviously they did not have the sense to even have a brief watercooler discussion about it
Death by Spaghetti-fication, time will move so very extremely slowly as they're being stretched and crushed after they pass the event horizon.
Honestly Mala was good, until Superman stopped trusting her and she went crazy in the Phantom zone.
