I've been 3d printing molds for a while. PETG works well for injection molds. I have designed files for senkos, swimbaits, grubs, beaver style baits, curly tails, trick worms, etc... The baits to stick. They actually get easier to remove as you use the mold more. I suppsoe the plastic fills the grooves somehow, and I use a lot of mold release on the molds.
@@qislegit.donttrustthemedia6232 An ender 3 is a great place to start. It has the bed space to print some reasonable size prints, is reliable, and capiable of some good detail. Upgrade the PTFE tube to a capicorn tube.
Awesome video! Really opened my eyes to skirted baits!! Something that I think would work really well is a coffee twin tail grub with red and gold flake with a watermelon red or green pumpkin skirt. Love your videos man! Funds ran low so I couldn’t get those molds yet but I can’t wait til I do!
For those small grubs, how do you get them to bond so well ? I'm doing craws and trying to get the head and claws to bond with the body with a different color, but it's not bonding together well
Being stuck in stuck in your house with family is never bad things it’s what family’s need these day back to old ways yahoo cool looking baits and colors
I'm just getting started on baitmaking so I had a little question. Does it matter when you mix the plastisol with the colourant? Like before or after the coocking of the plastic.
Hi World Worst Fishing that was a nice video, I like the grub panfish mold.. That black and chart is a good color for panfish too. If you would like me to try each bait here in louisiana let me know. God Bless you and your Family. take Care and Stay safe too.
Have you tried using wax or a pre lube for that 4 sided mold. Were i work we pour alot of rub or silicone for foundries and wax helps release the rub better
@@WorldsWorstFishing man I would love to find some in a watermelon with orange flake. I buy the zoom fat Albert grubs in that color and they always kill it. It my go to even on a slow day.
Were or can person buy that grub mold I cant find it on the internet. I like your videos but wish you would list the brands that you use in each video and links to order them. Thanks for the great videos
Kinda late to comments here but those pink/orange have a Tequila Sunrise look about the color Killer bait, those grubs will slay bluegill all day here in KY .
Where does a guy from Minnesota buy some of your baits? I mean can't go to work due to Covid-19 so i been fishing a lot? Wondering if these would be good for ice fishing ^_^
Hey, what do you think about the black body and the pink tail for the small grub? The same pink that you were using for "electric chicken" twin tail grub. I think that would look sick!!!! BTW great channel, love the concept, great lures!
Chris I;ve tryed that before and 4 sided do not work in the plastic word I tryed about 20 times and with release agent No Go LOVE YOUr SHOWS MAN keep up the good work
@@WorldsWorstFishing Hey again if they would use a teflon it might work better and have a question everyone asks me about putting baits into a bag but I don't know where to order them from do you have any Ideas
That mold meant for the body and tail as separate injections looks like you could prob use the duel injector and get multiple done at once after getting the first set of bodies done first
I have been watching your videos for the past 48 hour’s and I love your content. Having said that I do have a question for you. I have a bunch of plastics in my collection crawls, worms, etc. What do you use for lube in you bags when you package your product or do you use any at all? And what can you use to keep your plastics from drying out in the packaging?
Disappointment the four tail didn't work out for you...I tried to warn you about the heat LOL. The 3d printed molds are definitely a different ball game. As soon as I saw that cup smoking still before you injected that last time I knew that one was done for. I probably should have warned you about the de-mold process too, you kind of have to finesse each piece off at a time. Anyway thanks for trying it (and on video to boot) it was still fun to watch.
yeah man I def didn't have the mojo on that one..would take some practice to get it right and on that last shot I completely forgot about the temp sensitivity.
Printed molds not working good with hot plastic, best way is to make printed countermold and make them from that red silicone which is resistant till 300C
A Brady fan for sure...half my family lives in the Tampa Bay area (Bradenton) and they are all bucs fans....I wish him success there. Sad he left new England
Thanks for watching everyone!!

The laundry noise in the background doesn't come out as you think it does
glad to hear..it drives me insance haha
I do get some good comic relief From his comments about the laundry

Those dbl tail grubs are killer. Like that your doing both bass and pan. Keep on keepin’ on
thanks mike
“ hope you are being safe “
*me enjoying 0 people on the lake*
I love that jacobs grub mold! Great for panfish and crappies.
yeah he kills it on the panfish molds
Can you spray the 4 tail grub mold with mold release first? That may help the ripping issue...
yeah that might have been the answer...but I felt I could do it without too much trouble...i was wrong.
Those Grubs look Great and would be great fishing for Perch up here in the upper Chesapeake Bay
The look you gave her when she pinched You was priceless.
My anticipation of a great video was fulfilled. Thanks
I appreciate it
I’m pretty sure the laundry noise bothers you more than us! 🤣
Those LA Laker swimbaits are my favorite bait I've seen you make

When I use the pancake griddle with molds @340 to 350 the plastics stick to the molds are you using a oil on you molds so they do not stick in molds?
For those small grubs, how do you get them to bond so well ? I'm doing craws and trying to get the head and claws to bond with the body with a different color, but it's not bonding together well
What do you do with the waste material ? Thanks

agree!
Hey Chris, I don't know if you've mentioned it in your prior episodes but I've gotta know, where'd you get that injector with the side handle?
I'm just getting started on baitmaking so I had a little question. Does it matter when you mix the plastisol with the colourant? Like before or after the coocking of the plastic.
i recommend after so that you dont add too much

The pink and orange lures are class looking. Can't get that style of lure here.
Have you tried using wax or a pre lube for that 4 sided mold. Were i work we pour alot of rub or silicone for foundries and wax helps release the rub better
You should have tried putting something like cooking spray in the 3d printed mold to allow for an easy release
We use a lot of the TRD stick bait on ned heads on the moving water in W.V have you ever made any?
I have not

Nice little panfish baits.
1:34 your beer bottle is at lest green
“On to the next mold” hah sounding like marling baits
would putting some worm oil in the tail part of the 4 part mold have helped?
how long are you supposed to let them set/dry in the mold before taking them out?
a minute or so
World's Worst Fishing yes sir. thank you
World's Worst Fishing i’ve watched your beginner videos and you have helped me a lot. thanks 🙏
Love panfish, especially crappie, and I am glad to see you making some panfish baits.
yeah itd a lot of fun
@@WorldsWorstFishing The black and chartreuse grub looked dangerous. Would have loved to see a black grub with pink tail.
I'm liking the Laker baits. How much would them set someone back. Asking for a friend. Lol
That orange sherbet color is awesome!
makes me want to visit the ice cream parlor
Where can the small grub mold be perchases?
I would love to see you do some Ohio State Scarlet and gray with white colors on that LA Laker Shad. I would definitely pick some of those up.
When you use the baits you make do you put scents on them? If so what kind?
Lol when she pinched you, you were holding a green bottle. That 4 tail grub mold was insane
ya know youre right!!!
You have to let the 3d printed mold sit a lot longer than the aluminum ones, because the plastic doesn't transfer heat nearly as quickly.
The wifey is sending you a message to build her a laundry room lol , I tried to tell marlin baits that same thing 😂
Hello are you selling those pink and sherbet ones?
How would black lure with gold hologram look? Chartreuse tail. I think that’s be cool. Great for dirty water.
Were or can person buy that grub mold I cant find it on the internet. I like your videos but wish you would list the brands that you use in each video and links to order them. Thanks for the great videos
Where can I get the single tail mold?
Really liked the single tail grub with the black and chartreuse tails. All.the baits looked good though. All.fish catching machines.
Loved those 1 1/4" curly tails! Good job as always Chris! 👊🏻
Thanks... unfortunately I have to send those molds back to the owner haha
That orange color was money man i liked it. Awesome those are nice molds
thanks..the orange sherbert was a nice surprise
that speck grub mold is awesome! I am going to go look into it as soon as this is over.
yeah ready for this to be over for sure
Kinda late to comments here but those pink/orange have a Tequila Sunrise look about the color Killer bait, those grubs will slay bluegill all day here in KY .
One the Rubik's cube mold, could it not be setting up right because it's 3D printed instead of aluminum?
can u put a ling to the grub that u do the body and tail seperate?
I would like to know if the guy make 1 for the tube n cubby molds
Where does a guy from Minnesota buy some of your baits? I mean can't go to work due to Covid-19 so i been fishing a lot? Wondering if these would be good for ice fishing ^_^
Do you sell these pan fish plastics in custom colors?
Nxt time ya make them try a bright pink color shift with that same flake in the tail as well as the body
Hey, what do you think about the black body and the pink tail for the small grub? The same pink that you were using for "electric chicken" twin tail grub. I think that would look sick!!!! BTW great channel, love the concept, great lures!
yeah a pink tail is very common...looks great
how about putting a release agent on the mold
great video as always! And By now im sure you know Brady is at Tampa bay...... How do you feel about it?
Half my family are bucs fans that live in Bradenton FL...so I've kinda always wanted the bucs to do well..hope Brady plays well there.
How do you order your baits
Can you make a Cajun cricket swimbait it would look soooooo good
I sense cabin fever....every house noise drives u nuts! Did get to jam my favorite Peart/RUSH tunes all day though!
Well I'd like to blame it on that but the laundry drives me crazy every time I'm out there haha... Always a good time throwing Rush on repeat

Como faço pra comprar os formas moldes.

If the spacing was correct that would definitely work I think
Awesome video, I’m fixing to pour some worms and I’m using the MF pigment. I’m making a pumpkin color and just wondering how many drops should I use.
Molds looks sweet!
they were alot of fun
That's what she said! Multiple times in your video lol.
Haha
do more swimbait molds colors, make a black and pink! black n gold!
Color looks too cool on that twin tail and also that grub color was killer
thanks Mario

Wonder if you could do a two piece aluminum mold for the 4 tail
Well I guess if you going to have a mold ruined why not send it to one of the best content creators for bait making and let him do it lol!!!!!

Could you share deatils of the mould makers

that grub mold is cool , but the plastic one not so much , and idont think will have the action in water as intended for but still cool to see

Perfeito devia exportar esses moldes de iscas! Aqui brazil
would it possibly be a good idea to throw the entire mold into the bath as it cools?
yes you can do that..i do with aluminum sometimes
Is it to early for a color called Corona virus
haha probably so
Hey, hey add beer to your molds... what will the fish do ?.
I think it would suck to open one of those flake cans and then have to sneeze 🤣

thanks dude
Spray your mold with Pam cooking spray to keep it from sticking
