Your Channel is a mixture of Travel and Food. Thank you for taking me on your journey to another Food Hall. Ramens will always be my favorites. I like how you blend in desserts.
Extraordinary architecture, shout out to the architects and builders, all those years ago. Kudos! and thank you for taking us along to somewhere I never knew existed.
Another tasty culinary expedition from Everyday I'm Eating. Mackie Mayor in Manchester seems to be a sublime dining experience no matter what your food preferences are. All three dishes there looked scrumptious. The minced lamb and noodles in broth made my mouth water. The steak sandwich, bursting with meat, was surely a treat as well. I'm not a big dessert fan but that toffee combo would have been tempting. Thanks for introducing me to this wondrous food hall. Your videos continue to be entertaining and educational at the same time.
Up until 20 years ago, the building was used to test Blck Hackney carriage taxis for their MOT Certificates. My father and his two brothers had teo each, so I remember going and waiting while they were tested they were lifted up on the vehicle lifts, They also had them on big metal cylinders with their engines on and wheels turning. You always ended up waiting outside no matter the weather because of the pollution from the old Diesel engines.
Hello my friend so lovely to see you & joining you on another of your excellent reviews!! Lovely venue & what a view from the upstairs, wow!! your food selection was gorgeous the Lamb Raman I would definitely love to try, you can't go wrong with a Steak Sandwich & fries with a Sticky Toffee Pudding to finish, simply perfection!!! Thank you for sharing & see you on your next food journey take care 💜💜XX
Your combo bites make me giggle. I would have dipped the chips and sandwich into that broth as well. I was actually waiting for you to dip them into the ice cream, too. I bet you were tempted.
You went to one of the most impressive food halls in the UK. I've never heard of lamb ramen even after watching hundreds of Japanese cuisine videos. The steak sandwich looked good as well as the sticky toffee pudding. Overall. a good experience, I'd say, but a bit pricey though.
Hi from misty Los Angeles! 🙋♀️ Cool building! Too bad upstairs seating was closed! Dining while looking down would be nice. Food was a bit pricey but to be fair, it all looked really fresh and well prepared compared to a lot of places these days. Thanks for treating us! 👍
The food looked really amazing, I'm sure that it tasted so too. I would have just plumbed for the noodles. The thing that surprised me was that you had breakfast, lunch and dinner in the title. When in fact although you could get all three meals there, you just had a dinner, using the northern term for a meal at noon. I thought you were going to actually do all three meals over the space of a day, and spend the whole day in and around Manchester. When you related your train times, I realised that that wasn't going to be the case. Even so, great to see you out and about again. Had you thought about going another half hour on the train to get to Chester, heard the announcement on the Station PA. You could try the new Market opposite the Cathedral as it is more of a food hall with only a few vendors selling produce. Maybe time also to walk around the city walls, which is a great experience.
I put these sort of food courts in the same cost category as farmers’ and Christmas markets, where everything actually costs far more than it would in a regular restaurant, shop or market. Add a bit of Instagram-friendly decor, preferably “industrial” style with bare recycled wood and wrought iron chairs, and punters will flock in to grab a few snaps to show off to their online “friends” and pay £20+ for a burger, or £8 for a bit of sponge pudding made on an industrial state and reheated in a microwave, plus a dollop of unbranded ice-cream that’s probably been through the freeze-melt cycle multiple times. In the old days we went to markets because the goods actually were cheaper (and often fresher) than in, say, the local butcher’s or greengrocers. But not any more. That £40 or £50 you spent on a three dishes could have got you multiple meals of higher quality from M&S or Waitrose. Worst I’ve seen recently was a stodgy looking donut, clearly exposed to the outside air for hours if not days, for £3.95 in a so-called Christmas Market. Daylight robbery, but there’s clearly still folks with more money than sense who’ll pay it! And what’s the betting that half the folks who eat in the food court you went to pay for it all from their benefits handouts, living off “the disability” and all the rest of it.
I had similar nice noodles yesterday and the cost was £11 , so your noodles and steak sandwhich and dessert are most definately expensive 😢, having said that those noodles looked 100% perfect for me but is it just me or have food prices in 2024 just gone into orbit?😢😮
That looked rank to be honest, why don't you get something cheaper? People can't afford that especially for 1 person. Value you should be looking for. Sorry but its the same all the time.

What a stunning building. Thanks again for the videos mate.
Thanks! The building was impressive
Those lamb noodles--heavenly! Beautiful building--those Victorians knew what they were doing. Thanks for the upload.
The food matched the building for sure!
Extraordinary architecture, shout out to the architects and builders, all those years ago.

Good video but title a bit misleading as it gives the impression you would be eating a breakfast, lunch and dinner meal at the food court
That’s what I thought too

Great vlog as ever. Enjoy Sunday afternoons !! Cheers xx

Vielen Dank für Ihr neues Video. Es sieht alles sehr lecker aus. Aber eine Person schafft diese Leckereien nicht. Schöner Ausflug für zwei Personen. 😊
Sicher!

Victoria Station or Kings Cross Station in London are MUST VISITS. I would love you to sample the Oysters at Kings Cross one day, fortune permitting.

Definitely expensive but got to treat yourself occasionally
Can you visit i am pho in chinatown in manchester !!!! try the raw beef pho and spicy wings!!!! thanks for another great video !!!
The pudding was ridiculously expensive, on the other hand the two savoury dishes seemed quite reasonable.
That steak sandwich is crying out for some tangy melted cheese. Top review. thank you.
another great video. The noodles looked great.
They were 😋
Some of the best meals yet.
You could be right!
This place is huge and the quality of food very high, would recommend
You should try star bar in Scotland 3 courses for 4 quid a bargain
Gary Eats reviewed it recently.

That sticy pudding looks so yummy ❤
I don't eat steak as I wouldn't say I like it but that ramen looks banging.
Yay!🎉❤
You should try the Vietnamese stand in Leeds Market. I do miss your 50 pound travel challenges though.
Have you been to the Christmas markets for the food?
I hope I haven’t offended you with my message about where u from love your videos 😊

Click bait. Where's the breakfast, lunch and dinner?
