Hi from Los Angeles 🙋♀️ You are spot on about Korean fried chicken (the Real "kfc, 😂) being better than KFC! We're lucky enough here, in my area to have several branches of Seoul based chain "bb.q Chicken", I hope they set up shop in the UK for you. Their quality is amazing for fast food! As an American, it looks to me like you got a pretty authentic slice of Detroit pizza! Great looking food hall. Reminds me a lot of my local food hall: The Hangar at the Long Beach Exchange "LBX". Loving this food court/food hall series❤ Thank you!
Deep dish is Chicago style, and has so much tomato that it's almost a casserole. Detroit style is a thick square pizza, because they used to bake it in parts trays from the automobile industry that Detroit was once famous for. The latter is what you had.
That pizza looked amazing, you can't go wrong with Korean chicken, I love Korean street food, and they have nailed it when it comes to taste. Great review mate.
Hello my friend, the pizza looked divine & I would love the sweetness of the pepperoni ,Korean Chicken is said to be really good & this looked delicious -something I would have chosen, the tinteemo was something different. I love how you always give a true, accurate description of what you are eating in your reviews, the cost was decent for what you had too!! Thank you for this excellent review, lovely to see you as always, take care 💜💜XX
We seem to be surrounded by so many food malls, restaurants, cafes, takeaways, and Drive Thrus. I wonder, are people taking more comfort in food than anything else these days??!! LOL 👍👍😂
That was a nice little find. You also went rogue with the combo bites. The Eritrean dish was interesting. I'm allergic to lentils,so I'd have to pass. I love the way you are always willing to try different dishes.
Great video. The pizza looked like thick bread rather than deep dish, more bread than filling, deep dish has more filling than dough. Topping looked good though. The Korean one looked lovely, as did the Eritrean one, very interesting. You must have had a very happy full stomach after that lot!😁 Thank you.😊
It wouldn't be you if you didn't choose fried chicken 🤣 but what an absolute bargain! Delicious looking boneless fried chicken, with a bowl of Rice for £10.50! 👍🌟🏅 Dish of the day! The Chicago Pizza also looked yummy, but 7.50 a little steep for one slice. Nice to see Eritrean food too. Great trip out. 👏🤗 Is the Food Hall anywhere near the Ice Rink?
Excellent content as always everyday im eating! Would you ever consider doing a collab video with gary eats? What a joy it would be to see youtubes best food reviewers together in one video 😊
Great video. I only buy Detroit pizza of late, it's always amazing. That bread looked a bit like an English crumpet or pikelet, a wet dough leavened with yeast then cooked on a griddle.
Hi there. Hope you are well. Could you please tell me where you bought your brown jacket? I want to purchase one online, and I hope it is available in different sizes for men. Thank you in advance, and all the best.
I've never tried Ethiopian food because it is a bit rare and there aren't any nearby. I've seen a few RUclips videos of it. People who try it seem to like it. It seems to be a culture that eats everything by hand. The bread is used in a fold and pinch sort of move rather than dipping.
I think what you had was ok price wise and quality this time with the pizza 1 slice being the most expensive for what you got.All the food did look ok though and I had never been to that food hall in Sheffield.
I was impressed with the variety of food. Nice to have different cultures food to taste. I am a New Yorker so used to many cultures food. My husband is from Wales and they have the same foods ther fish n chips, pasties and pies. A big thumbs up on this episode 👍🏾
Another entertaining and informative journey. This time to Sheffield and its Collective Food Hall. All three meals looked delicious and the Eritrean injera and timtimo were especially tempting. Thanks for this exciting experience. I enjoy these explorations so much. Well done!
Deep dish is Chicago style where there's so much tomato that it's almost a casserole. This is Detroit style made in square pans (they used to use spare parts trays from the automobile industry)
The largest food hall in Europe with food choices from the four corners of the earth except Britian. seems sad that they ignore their own home culture.
That's because these places tend to attract middle-class snobs and college kids, the types of people that hate their own kind. If you couldn't already tell from the prices. Because those are the only people, apart from food reviewers, who are sufficiently disconnected from reality to pay over 7 pounds for a small square of pizza.
@@horsebee1 two hund yards away is inddoor market got same set eateries mainly english i just popping down town my weekly portion of homemade meat tater pie homemade chips and mushy peas 5.50 ...or a next booth large hot roast pork with trimmings and a poftion a proper roast potatoes 4.50 top nosh
why are there NOT open for breakfast. you are open and wasting electricity. its like Danny's place. just with a few more places. I did not see a fish and chip or Burger places. Pizza £7.50 its a thick base. maybe bigger than Greggs slice. but i am not sure either are worth the cost. I can get a 10" pizza for £4. I don't see it being really worth more than 2 to 3 pound. Chicken and rice £10.50 could not see how many pieces of chicken , but rice is very cheap to buy. being breast ok maybe £7. on your lentil soup £9.50 the bread is a very dark colour. it is very different for what you have. normally.... but its not that big a meal makes you full due to using a pulse like lentils but not a great cost value no meat give it a £5 to £6 value. I am not sure about being good priced for what it was.
Well sorry none of that food looked good how can you say that is the best Pizza you have had OK Korean Chicken was ok and that last one looked terrible,The amount you paid for that lot seems overpriced and not good value so 3/10.
Sorry but thats extortionate price for food, 7.50 for 1 square of pizza! No, that's daylight robbery to be honest, my sone gets 2 pizzas for 20 quid! 14 inch ones, as for 10 quid for chicken and rice and what the hell was that slop in a dish? You should be trying to find cheap value but tasty food not the most expensive.
I kinda agree. It’s ironic that in the UK so-called “street food” is almost always far more expensive than the equivalent in a normal chain restaurant. And the reality is it’s mostly prepared on an industrial estate, part-cooked, frozen or sealed in plastic, and then reheated at the outlet. That pizza slice probably cost the stall no more than 50 to 75p.
I have seen shop in Greenock 2 12" pizzas for £12. At home I can get a 10" pizza from £4 to £5.50 depending on topping. So that £7.50 for a slice is way over priced tops £3 value. we did not see how many bit of chicken there was i could only make out 2. but still not worth it none of the dishes seem worth the price. the lentil soup was cheap to make no expensive meat not sure about any of these places being good value places. Danny's Kitchen place has a food box place that seemed much better value than these places I would hate to see the price of the Egg place prices.
@BeingD2023 I agree 👍, way too expensive and if you can get pizzas that price that's absolutely excellent value. He seems to me to go to the most expensive places! Nearly 30 quid for that much food for 1 person, I'm sorry but thats ridiculous, they should be wearing masks! Now I go to find the best value when I'm out, meal deals and things
8 pound for two turkey bacon rashers scrambled egg in a bread cake ...its tasty but expensive cinsidering it all self service and really uncomfortable furniture the place been open bout four months gets rammed espesh a night with singers on ...sheff turning into food capital there another three places here in sheff just like that ...most complain bout price but after watching this great vid it did seem reasonable ...mitchies pizza is most moaned about price wise and size really is tiny and i sure you have pay extra for honey round about ten pound a slice ... pity he didnt try drinks put leeds to shane lol@@BeingD2023
