@@Olivedme yes, most of what I said aren’t mandatory. They are only strongly recommended. There are also decks without a strong spells for sure. But no win condition? I’m almost sure every single deck requires a win condition, unless the deck depends on spell cycling
Of course though, not always will a big spell be useful in your deck. Decks like medium-high elixir build pushes like giant will benefit more on a second small spell more than a high elixir push like golem
Man, your tips are great. I've always wanted to find someone who explains the logic behind their game. Most RUclipsrs just play various matches and briefly mention why they do what they do, which is also useful, but no one explains the logic as you did. Just subscribed!
I will recommend that, if you have serious trouble finding a deck, don't feel shame for looking one up. When I started playing this game, I had no idea what I was doing or what I should do, but I did know one thing: I like Pekka. So, what did I do? Look up videos that covered concepts I barely understood? No silly! I looked up "Good Pekka Deck" and took the first thing that contained enough cards I could use. I had no idea what it did, but it used a card I liked, so I recommend new players to simply find some cards you like to use then look up nice options. At that point, you'll start to play with a mindset and that will naturally progress you into trying new options. === I will use myself as an example. I found a good Pekka deck that made sense to me. Pekka murders everyone, so me like Pekka, but Pekka no murder army of skeletons, so me sad. Now, me add big ass splash shit, now Pekka murders everyone, me happy. It kinda goes like that; use your own knowledge and pick something that at least makes sense to you. You can work up from there. The deck I "stole" was: *P.E.K.K.A.* off meta *BRIDGE SPAM* - *Pekka* _(duh)_ - *Battle Ram* _(idk why this card was there, but me use)_ - *Executioner* _(big ass splash)_ - *Mega Minion* _(me think this card trash, but me use)_ - *Goblin Gang* _(mwahaha! so many goblins!)_ - *Skeletons* _(what? well, if you say so...)_ - *Zap* _(me HATE skeleton army)_ - *Tornado* _(If Pekka no walk to you, I bring you to Pekka)_ This was the deck I planned to use, but I could not fill in all the cards, so I found some good "substitutes". *MY FIRST* shitty *P.E.K.K.A.* off meta *BRIDGE SPAM DECK!!!* - *Pekka* _(finally, some good fucking food)_ - *Battle Ram* _(idk just do what they told me)_ - *Wizard* _(big damage, big splash, me likey likey)_ - *Mega Minion* _(do what internet told me, do what internet told me)_ - *Skeleton Army* _(oh my lord SO MUCH SKELETON!!!)_ - *Skeletons* _(yes, more skeleton)_ - *Zap* _(kill all skeletons, commit skeleton genocide)_ - *Barbarian Barrel* _(copium for no Log)_ This deck was so bad, but it did a really good job at countering the super annoying cards like Elite Barbs and, eventually, the infamous Mega Knight. The goal in my mind was to get Pekka to destroy the other tower, so you go Pekka, Wizard, and Zap anything that contested them. It worked very well for a while, but started to dwindle the more intelligent my opponents became. They started distracting Wizard then spamming swarms on Pekka, and the worst case was Witch as I had no counter for her. I eventually started to learn the game by myself though. I figured out that Pekka was more of a defensive monster and only acted as a Win Condition if the opponent screwed up really bad, and Battle Ram was my real main damage dealer with Wizard closely behind (weirdly enough). Either Ram was my main push and Pekka tanked then murdered anyone stopping Ram, or Ram murdered any building that tried to kill Pekka (mainly Inferno Tower) and Pekka gets supported by everyone so she can slap all the towers to death. This deck still had serious issues though, neither its offense or its defense was super good. As I got more cards, I realized what I wanted, which was to be able to always have an option ready for when my opponent did anything. I started using Goblin Gang, used Skeles as a cycle card and not shitty support, and kept small spells the same so I could save a lot of Elixir. This worked for a while, but then I realized that this deck needed stronger options for buildings and the card that murdered this whole deck: Witch. So, I swapped out Barb Barrel for Fireball, and that worked very well, but swarms and Witch were still an issue. Wizard was still in my deck for a long time, as Exe is unlocked towards the end of Trophy Road, but I knew Wizard mostly lost to Witch. I was getting very demoralized as I could never fight Witch well. I still did decent for a long time, but eventually I felt like I couldn't play how I wanted. === I then looked around for a new deck, and since i was more experienced, I first looked for a Win Condition. I chose *Goblin Drill* since I never saw that card played, and apparently it was very good. I played around with some decks I saw, and eventually ended up with a very defensive deck that relied on catching the opponent at awkward times then dealing decent amounts of damage until you won. This was very different from how I played before, as I focused on three crowning when I played Pekka. This threw me for a loop, but I liked it since it was cheap and had great defense. The deck looked like this: *GOBLIN DRILL + WALL BREAKERS CONTROL DECK!!!* - *Goblin Drill* _(main win condition, good emergency defense)_ - *Wall Breakers* _(more damage, usually used in tandem with Goblin Drill or used as pressure)_ - *Magic Archer* _(stealthy way to get more damage, great splash control)_ - *Ice Golem* _(mini tank, main distraction for other units to play defense safely)_ - *Guards* _(hard-to-counter defense that played swarm and made up for the weird interactions that Ice Golem couldn't take care of)_ - *Tesla* _(needed Air Tank Killer and a Win Condition killer)_ - *Log* _(figured out how good this spell was)_ - *Fireball* _(ol' reliable)_ It was very fun and I felt like I had more control over how I played. My old Pekka deck felt like I relied on the opponent failing to get damage, while this felt like I chose when I got damage and put most of my effort into defense. I wasn't amazing at defense though, so I ran into a problem where my opponents figured out my offense and would take advantage of my inconsistent defense. It felt like this deck was good, but I wasn't. I played it for multiple seasons, changing out units I found problems with, and continued to upgrade this deck for a while. I loved Goblin Drill due to its sheer versatility. Good offense that could be assisted with Fireball at times or make way for Wall Breakers. It also set up units that could be baited into fodder for Magic Wizard to damage towers with. It also was amazing at defense, being super tanky and worked like a shitty but bulky Tombstone. I had a lot of fun but didn't feel like everything was how I wanted it to be. Kept trying new cards, but never scratched the itch that I had. I used Goblin Drill until I took a long hiatus from the game due to the controversial "Update for Losers". Was upset with that update and planned to lower my usage of the game. I kept it around though, and after a couple of months, I played one match and fell in love again. I started to play this game more casually, so I quit clans and returned to my oldest deck, Shitty Pekka Bridge Spam. I now understood why I loved the deck, and also understood myself as a player better. This archetype wasn't expanded upon, but I was more of a "balanced" player. I didn't like too much offense, nor too much defense. I wanted a consistent deck that wasn't too reliable on matchups, but I also fucking love Pekka, so I had to make a deck with her. I slightly tweaked my old deck and found a nice in between of good offense and good defense. It plays very differently depending on the match-up, which is fun. It also never felt like I was screwed at times. I always felt like I had a chance, whether it be in my favor or not. This is it: *P.E.K.K.A. WEIRD ASS BEATDOWN / CONTROL DECK* - *Pekka* _(Main defense, pressure, and unreliable 2nd Win Condition.)_ - *Battle Ram* _(Win Condition, main damage and unique defense/distraction.)_ - *Executioner* _(Splash control, can be used as mini tank for Battle Ram at times.)_ - *Mega Minion* _(Main air defense and cheap, reliable tank killer + versatility card.)_ - *Tombstone* _(Good swarm + building hybrid. Gave a good counter to rush cards and acts as a reliable defense.)_ - *Electro Spirit* _(Very useful and cheap splash control. Works amazing with Zap on defense.)_ - *Zap* _(Small spell, swarm control, and a big fuck you to Inferno Tower, Dragon, Skeleton Army, and the rest.)_ - *Fireball* _(Medium spell, literally is never bad.)_ I use the mentioned deck to this day. It fits my playstyle amazingly well and allows me to feel intentional on defense and dangerous on offense. Some cards can still chip away at my towers, but that doesn't matter if I rip my opponent apart in one good push. I call this Beatdown as I find myself winning once I place Pekka, Executioner, Battle Ram, and Mega Minion together as one massive push, but I also say Control because I have so many options to stop heavy pushes and keep pressure going at awkward moments. I feel like I control decks more expensive than me but play Beatdown with decks cheaper than mine. It's really cool and I love what this deck has become. This is more of a bonus thing, but I also love having Tombstone present while I push so it leaks a lot of Skeletons, then suddenly, I have a baby Skeleton Army under my wing. It's so weird and funny at times when it's the Skeletons that kill a tower. === So, why did I type all this? To show y'all that finding your deck is basically a journey. You learn about how you like to play when using certain decks and what you want when you have trouble against opponents. You can never get a perfect deck, but you can satisfy what you're looking for if you try hard enough. Even me, a very awkward player who kinda wants a bit of everything and to also include an awkward card, found something that works well. It's fun to use something off meta because, in all honesty, it makes me feel unique and what I learn feels personal. Only I can use this deck the way I do, and I love that very much. I doubt anyone read all of this, but if you did, I salute you. Thank you for reading, and I wish you a good one on your CR journey to kicking fat ass.
I have made a lava hound deck where the main point is to sacrifice everything for elixer advantage by countering with lower elixer cards than your opponent. When your tower is on low hp you abandone it when your opponent plays something like hog rider or goblin barrow for even more elixer advantage. During 2x elixer you use all your elixer on a single push. If your push dosen't work then I lose. That happens about 70% of the time.
I think the problem with your deck is that your win condition is lavahound. Jokes aside, lava really isn't getting good matchups in this meta with Evo archers and lil prince. It sounds like your playstyle would really enjoy playing golem beatdown, which isn't actually doing that bad these few seasons.
@@jojom38 you can’t make any claims about my skill without playing me. I used to win most of my games and I got up to the top arenas even though my cards were way under-level. So I’m definitely above average because I was always 2-3 arenas higher than what my card levels matched. So technically it’s the opposite. I just have anger issues specifically towards hog riders and when people would spam emojis. Idk why the emoji-things got to me so much 🤣
This video has helped me so much. I just came back to this game after taking a 1-2 year break. My deck was severely outdated. This video has helped me build a good deck. Now I'm not nervous when doing 1v1s.
@nens3773 Sorry for the late reply. But the team I used frequently at the time was an all legendary card team, since back in the day, legendarys were actually valuable. The cards I can kinda remember were: Mega Knight, Sparky, E wiz, Ice wiz, and Night witch.
this has helped so much I've learned my play style and made a bait deck that is already destroying opponents. It's Goblin barrel, fire cracker, goblin gang, electro wizard, fire ball, tornado, mini pekka, and cannon. thanks
Step 0: (optional) (invalidates all other steps) spend a shit ton of money and max out 8 random cards and play with them until you get out off mid ladder
Nice guide bro I especially appreciate how you didn't just give some dumbass template and told the viewers to just throw in whatever cards they love like a lot of youtubers and actually talked about the importance of synergy and having splash damage and a tank killer in a deck and the right spell combinaisons. Some little points I would've added is that in any deck, though not necessary, it's good to have a cheap cycle card (1 or 2 elixir) to make the overall deck cheaper and more playable and a card that can stun/reset since that's one of the strongest mechanics in the game
5:35 "one has to be a small spell" then i immediately think of this deck that mohammed light played at least one: Miner, wallbreakers, mother witch, goblin gang, skeleton army, fireball, skeleton king, zappies
I tend to annoy people with very tiny pushes (ex: skeletons and an ice spirit), especially ones who react with lots of elixir. That's why i'm great at 2.6 and mortar decks.
I’m mostly of an aggressive player, using heavy tanks and still using a win condition like ram rider. I was still using the same deck with just PEKKA and no win condition, after putting in a win condition, I’ve been collecting a lot of wins in challengers
I use some decks mostly for fun. For example i have what i call "Mercenary" deck which is Knight, Lumberjack, R. Ghost, Bandit, R. Delivery, Barbarrel, Fisherman and Gob Cage. Than i have "Protect Them" deck which is a Hunter (or any unique 1 troop card), Rage, freeze, Tornado, Heal Spirit, Clone, Arrows and Mirror And atlast i have "Modern Army" deck which is Knight, R. Recruits, 3 Musks, Firecracker, Dark Prince, Cannon Cart and Mortar
My homemade deck: Win condition: Golem; Small spell: Barbarian barrel; Big spell: Lightning; Air defense 1 / Tank killer: Megaminion; Air defense 2 / Splash: Ice Wizard; Mini tank: Golden Knight; Ground defense / Swarm / Building: Tombstone; Synergy card: Tornado. My deck is pretty fucking disgusting to play against. And my favorite emote to spam is Goblin with tongue.
Hey! Here's a fun home made deck for a split lane playstyle. It has held the test of the ages for like 4 years! Archers, Valk (evos welcome, not necessary. If 1 evo use archers) skele barrel, baby d, rascals, dart gob, poison, tombstone. Try to primarily use valk, darts, tombstone on defense. Throw your win condition (skele barrel) in front of just about any surviving defenders. There are more strategies involved as you get better at placements (like activating king off megaknight with tombstone and dart gob) I offer this deck now because I've improved it and want to see it played more. It's a blast.
I have a Log Bait Mortar deck and I love being able to be aggressive with bait and being able to control the feel with my mortar offensive and defenive
My fav archetype is miner control, and i feel like it is one of the easiest decks to build: -miner -big spell (poison and rocket work the best) -log -spirit -small swarm (3 elixir or less) -mini tank (valk, knight, mini pekka, DP for pressure, Mighty for 3 card cycle) -building -either delivery or air support Miner control is VERY defensive, but as the name suggests, you control the game, if you play well your opponent never breaks through
This is a really good deck that I use to get past midladder if anyone wants to try it Zap, bats, lumberjack, mini pekka, magic archer, inferno dragon, hog rider, heal spirit
I gotta watch this video again because I wasn’t really listening because I had it in the background while I three crowned with e golem and I finished the match and started listening at 6:45
@@fulltiltgaming yeah I said it wrong. The thing is, you mostly focus on defending in egiant decks while in beatdown decks you're playing more offensively and aggressive, you'll make more tower trades and focus less on defense.
I made a deck very early in the game with minor adjustments like log for barb barrel when I got it, and it has worked for me so far now being in royal crypt with being a casual player. Deck: mini peka, Valkrie, skeleton army, baby dragon, electro wizard, rage, log, Tesla tower. I'm not asking for suggestions. I'm not good with any other deck, and I optimized it for my playstyle of either building up push from the back or defending into a push with rage.
That’s a totally fine deck if it fits your play style, only issue I see is that you don’t have a win condition for consistent damage. Other than that I respect you for making a deck you love to play with
A deck I made and still use. The deck suits me very well because I have been using the cards like valk, tesla, Miner for years. 1. Miner(Tank/win con) 2. Wall breakers(Pressure) 3. Musk(air defense with good dmg) 4. Tesla(Solid building) 5. Valk(Tank) 6. Royal delivery(can tank for no.2 after defending) 7. Poison(miner poison is too good) 8. Log(I hate log bait) I used to use Skeletons instead of Royal Delivery but there's just too many witches, e barbs, sparkies so I changed it. I also used to use firecracker instead of musk but in grand champion everyone used to take advantage of it and activate king
have a similar deck 1) miner 2)wallbreakers so good of a combo . 3)magic Archer 4)ornado ( king Tower activations all day and can double as a win condition with the artcher ) 5)mini Peka ( can work well as a mini tank with the magic Archer and he kills the swarms used to counter it)
Do you hate Log Bait? Then I have the win condition for you! Mortar - as soon as Log Bait players see it, they might as well uninstall the game because they've already lost.
I, an overly defensive cycle player, have been playing a homemade bait deck and it's doing wonders. Only took three years of playing and no i didn't watch this video
Ok fulltilt, this is my deck and i’ve gotten top 10k with it. Pekka, magic archer, tornado, e wiz, poison, valk, battle ram, log. tell me your honest opinion
Well I have a homemade deck and it includes a Pekka and I play with tripple spell arrows and log for spam and lightning as a bigspell and a reset card and I made it to 9k trophies and I got to UC with it
I have this fisherman, mortar, Hunter, espirit, lightning, skeletons, log, mighty miner deck. Idk but I think it’s quite fun to play, tho I think valk could work as well
I'm definitely a control player... I play some cycle well but I'm terrible at beatdown decks... I freaking sucked with egiant meta decks but I consistently reach ultimate champ easily with splashyard and miner control...
heres how you make a good deck take the most recent couple of meta cards that havent been nerfed yet shove them together regardless of synergy, look at it for two seconds and decide that its either gonna be miner, graveyard, or spam i mean look at phoenix and all the decks its in you realize that the gimick of the phoenix is that it has a logbait aspect with its egg? no one uses it for that its just so strong that its a better damage dealer than basically every other card of its type like golem with a logbait card? sure miner with a logbait card? sure bridgespam with a logbait card? sure lavahound with a logbait card? sure when cards are overpowered they become useable in every archetype when queen was too good they were actually playing archer queen lavahound like how gross is that? there is no skill involved in deck building anymore making a balanced deck out of non overpowered cards is an entirely different and way cooler matter but the meta is so op that its kinda usless
I love to split my archers in my siege deck, cycling my cheap cards in the back so i can bait out the enemies big spell, giving me control over the game. This allows me to spam my med-tank at the bridge so i can beat my enemy down.
thanks man i didnt know i would like xbow but after this video i ended up using icebow and havent taken damage in like 8 games other than king tower activation
How good is my homemade deck (I chose Beatdown and I’m Arena 10 rn) Win condition: Giant Splash: Dark Prince Anti Air: Minions Anti Air: Hunter Small Spell: Zap Large Spell: Lightning Wild Card: Goblin Barrel Wild Card: Skeleton Army
I just went into map 4 and my current deck is freball, arrows, giant, battle ram, barbarian, bomb thrower, cannon, and somthing else if ur in map 3 use this. Deck its OP
I don’t really fit any of those deck archetypes I have a very counter push play style where I use my troops to counter with as minimal damage to them as possible so I can use them in a counter push and force my opponent to use the same amount or more elixir I did since my average elixir is high. If things go well my enemy won’t have the proper counters in cycle or the elixir to defend my counter pushes which ends with me having a nasty late game
I have used this deck since I started and it is battle ram, little prince, zap, freeze, mega knight, bats, e spirit and skarmy but be careful against e barbs they are scary against this deck
Another tip to find a good deck is the training camp, simple if your deck is bad enoght to lose to the battle trainer AI then you might wanna consider chagging some cards in the deck. If you struggle vs the AI then you might wanna Change another card. Make adjustments until you feel comfontable to go into ladder/real match
dude a literal goldfish can beat the AI. 95% of players can beat it with the tutorial deck, doesn't mean it's a good deck. Don't use it to test your decks, play against your friend if you really want to test it before going on ladder
Even if i deleted the game 2 days ago here's my og deck that i used Dark Prince Goblins Arrow/Log Ice spirit Archers/Sometimes Dart Goblin Poison Hog rider Canon
Two win conditions ebarb and goblin barrel two ground units knight good little tank and bomber splash air troops bats and fire cracker Spells zap and log If you don’t have two win conditions that’s fine as long as the other card is support like rage instead of goblin barrel
idk if a deck could be good without a big spell but mine is decent for 13th arena it contains evo skels megaknight monk magic archer inferno tower wall breakers ewizard zap
i use a homemade logbait deck its really good i mean idk if it is but it works in midladder because its so easy to defends ebarbs and egiant cycle or what ever else braindead stuff people use
Played A Homemade Miner Poison Mortar Control Deck For A Long Time And Switched To The Goblin Giant Meta, And I Can Say That Aggressive Decks Are Easy To Use But The Problem Is, If Your Opponent Is Good At The Game, Then You're Fucked, And If You Play Like Defensive Passive Decks, They Are Usually Harder To Master But It's Usually More Versatile Me Personally I Like Defending, I'm Not Much Of An Offense Aggressive Guy, But I Really Enjoy Playing Beatdown Decks Like Goblin Giant Decks Or Lava Hound Decks, But My Beatdown Decks Are More Defensed Focused And Relies On Counter Pushes Which Requires More Skill Than Normal Beatdown Decks So To Summarize From My Experiences Controlled Slow Defensive Passive Decks : Harder To Master, But More Versatile And Consistent Aggressive Decks Like Beatdown Decks : Usually Very Easy To Learn And Master, And If It's A Solid Beatdown Deck Like Goblin Giant Or Lava Hound Decks Then It Usually Has A High Winrate, Cons If Your Opponent Is Good Then You're Fucked No Matter How Much You Play Aggressively
My homemade deck: Win condition: Goblin barrel Win condition: Hog rider Air defense: Dart gob Air defense: Phoenix Splash: Bowler Mini tank/damage dealer:Mini pekka Small spell:Log Big spell:Fireball
(here is what i made) balloon, lumberjack, bats, scarmy, hunter, guards, freeze and giant snowball. Tell me if it's good and if it is not what should i change?
See i didnt really need this advice as i don't care enough to make my deck viable and am happy with placement in champion/8k trophies and love my iconic goofy ahh deck to much to leave it, but this did make me realize that i weirdly enough play split lane control. I don't know if that is actaully a somewhat common thing or not but that is what my play style fits best when going by his archetypes. My deck WC | Hog Rider WC/AC | Skelly Barrel AC/D | Archers AC/S/D | Witch S/MT | Valk (Evo) MT | Mini Pekka D | Skellies (Evo) SP | Rage I run these evos cause evo Archers are boring and both Evo Valk and Skellies are mega fun and don't feel scummy to me WC = win condition AC = air control MT = Mini tank S = Splash SP = Spell D = Defense
A abomination I came up with was the following: Ram Rider Firecracker Log Fireball Bats Archer Queen Prince Goblin Barrel It's fun to play and I wanted to make a Archer Queen Deck as I unlocked that card in the season shop and wantedto use it.
I'm in arena 11.. I use 1). Ram rider 2). Goblin barrel 3). Witch 4). Baby dragon 5). Valkyrie 6). Dark prince 7). Bomb tower 8). Log ... I'm winning most of the time but, I would honestly take opinions from experts.. please any suggestions? Or replacement?
Step 1: Grab your credit card Step 2: Buy diamond pass Step 3: Skip all the effort of playing the game and unlock all legendaries and heroes *Fun is optional
i feel like for the majority of the players the "skill issue" is the bigger problem. And i don't want to offend you but i very often see how people are asking for the best deck and really thinking that there is one out there. In reality you do not just need the better cards but also be good at the game. If you're bad than it won't matter if your're playing a meta deck or some homemade deck
I actually use a deck that I custom made and it's pretty good I don't have a legendary but I can successfully beat people who do have because my deck isnt that expensive, has good enough defense and great win condition
i just made this deck i know its fatherless but its ultra fun Balloon Lumberjack Ebarbs(lv14) Knight Guards Firecracker (yes i know theres no air defense
Fun fact: clash roayle AI of making duel and war decks considers freeze as a big spell which explains why you have freeze with no high damage spell in your deck
Hey billy, you probably dont care about this, but is my deck good it has ram rider, magic archer, dart goblin, miner, snowball, tombstone, tornado and ice spirit.
Step 1.) Use hog 2.6 for years. Step 2.) Parents divorce

Well, for me it is literally true lol
Personally I think some card types are almost mandatory in a deck:
1) win condition (obvious)
2) small spell
3) medium/big spell
4) ground mini tank, this includes valk, knight, skelly king, etc.
5) ranged
6) ranged
Of course, there are other stuff that are not exclusive to aforementioned:
1) splash
2) wc support
3) heavy damage
4) swarm
What I mean is, for example, a valk is both a mini tank and a splash unit. A mini pekka is both a heavy dealer and mini tank, etc.
Yes those create a wtrong solid deck but they are not necessary, i made my deck a year ago and it has a total amount of 2 changes (barbarrel to pheonix to gk) and it does not have a wincon or big spell
But not having all of these cards (the ones you said) or not having onowledge on how to use the cards you habe can have downsides
The solid deck building you said can help average or less skilled players know exactly what each card does and how to use it
But a more specialized deck that dosent follow your way can get one stuck either like in midladder or just not knowing how to use other cards
My deck works because i know how to use my deck and im open to change, i know how to use other cards and if i ever need to i can change the cards

===
I then looked around for a new deck, and since i was more experienced, I first looked for a Win Condition. The deck looked like this:
*GOBLIN DRILL + WALL BREAKERS CONTROL DECK!!!*
- *Goblin Drill* _(main win condition, good emergency defense)_
- *Wall Breakers* _(more damage, usually used in tandem with Goblin Drill or used as pressure)_
- *Magic Archer* _(stealthy way to get more damage, great splash control)_
- *Ice Golem* _(mini tank, main distraction for other units to play defense safely)_
- *Guards* _(hard-to-counter defense that played swarm and made up for the weird interactions that Ice Golem couldn't take care of)_
- *Tesla* _(needed Air Tank Killer and a Win Condition killer)_
- *Log* _(figured out how good this spell was)_
- *Fireball* _(ol' reliable)_
It was very fun and I felt like I had more control over how I played.
This is it:
*P.E.K.K.A. WEIRD ASS BEATDOWN / CONTROL DECK*
- *Pekka* _(Main defense, pressure, and unreliable 2nd Win Condition.)_
- *Battle Ram* _(Win Condition, main damage and unique defense/distraction.)_
- *Executioner* _(Splash control, can be used as mini tank for Battle Ram at times.)_
- *Mega Minion* _(Main air defense and cheap, reliable tank killer + versatility card.)_
- *Tombstone* _(Good swarm + building hybrid. Gave a good counter to rush cards and acts as a reliable defense.)_
- *Electro Spirit* _(Very useful and cheap splash control. Works amazing with Zap on defense.)_
- *Zap* _(Small spell, swarm control, and a big fuck you to Inferno Tower, Dragon, Skeleton Army, and the rest.)_
- *Fireball* _(Medium spell, literally is never bad.)_
I use the mentioned deck to this day.
===
So, why did I type all this?
Yo I read the whole thing that’s some determination

Bro put out his whole CR journey, and I even got a bit of inspiration from reading that
Me like miner and hog rider (btw read the whole thing, hope u still play CR)
I have made a lava hound deck where the main point is to sacrifice everything for elixer advantage by countering with lower elixer cards than your opponent. When your tower is on low hp you abandone it when your opponent plays something like hog rider or goblin barrow for even more elixer advantage. During 2x elixer you use all your elixer on a single push. If your push dosen't work then I lose. That happens about 70% of the time.
just kidding it happens way less that 70%.
Lava hound players when they have to defend their tower
I think the problem with your deck is that your win condition is lavahound. Jokes aside, lava really isn't getting good matchups in this meta with Evo archers and lil prince. It sounds like your playstyle would really enjoy playing golem beatdown, which isn't actually doing that bad these few seasons.
Step 1) delete the game
I just deleted it a few days ago as I’ve broke 3 my phone twice playing it. Not worth it anymore.

@@jojom38 you can’t make any claims about my skill without playing me. I used to win most of my games and I got up to the top arenas even though my cards were way under-level.
Nice guide bro
I especially appreciate how you didn't just give some dumbass template and told the viewers to just throw in whatever cards they love like a lot of youtubers and actually talked about the importance of synergy and having splash damage and a tank killer in a deck and the right spell combinaisons.
Some little points I would've added is that in any deck, though not necessary, it's good to have a cheap cycle card (1 or 2 elixir) to make the overall deck cheaper and more playable and a card that can stun/reset since that's one of the strongest mechanics in the game

@@SamNaz065 true
mother witch kinda fills that hole of a small spell
Some split push decks like Recruitbait and 3M only have one spell(often fireball)
My deck advice is 1) win condition 2)defensive card (buildings) 3(a tank killer) 4 anti air atleast 2
I tend to annoy people with very tiny pushes (ex: skeletons and an ice spirit), especially ones who react with lots of elixir. That's why i'm great at 2.6 and mortar decks.

For example i have what i call "Mercenary" deck which is Knight, Lumberjack, R. Ghost, Bandit, R. Delivery, Barbarrel, Fisherman and Gob Cage.
Than i have "Protect Them" deck which is a Hunter (or any unique 1 troop card), Rage, freeze, Tornado, Heal Spirit, Clone, Arrows and Mirror
And atlast i have "Modern Army" deck which is Knight, R. Recruits, 3 Musks, Firecracker, Dark Prince, Cannon Cart and Mortar
My homemade deck:
Win condition: Golem;
Small spell: Barbarian barrel;
Big spell: Lightning;
Air defense 1 / Tank killer: Megaminion;
Air defense 2 / Splash: Ice Wizard;
Mini tank: Golden Knight;
Ground defense / Swarm / Building: Tombstone;
Synergy card: Tornado.
There are more strategies involved as you get better at placements (like activating king off megaknight with tombstone and dart gob)
I offer this deck now because I've improved it and want to see it played more. It's a blast.
I have a Log Bait Mortar deck and I love being able to be aggressive with bait and being able to control the feel with my mortar offensive and defenive
Thank you! It will help me improve my barb hut hog rider mortar deck

My fav archetype is miner control, and i feel like it is one of the easiest decks to build:
-miner
-big spell (poison and rocket work the best)
-log
-spirit
-small swarm (3 elixir or less)
-mini tank (valk, knight, mini pekka, DP for pressure, Mighty for 3 card cycle)
-building
-either delivery or air support
Miner control is VERY defensive, but as the name suggests, you control the game, if you play well your opponent never breaks through
This is a really good deck that I use to get past midladder if anyone wants to try it
Zap, bats, lumberjack, mini pekka, magic archer, inferno dragon, hog rider, heal spirit
I gotta watch this video again because I wasn’t really listening because I had it in the background while I three crowned with e golem and I finished the match and started listening at 6:45

Who said anything about ebarbs? Idk why he put peeka on the list. And egiant is definitely not control.
@@fulltiltgaming almost any egiant deck is very defensive, you almost never go for the king with egiant and don't do much tower trades.
You don’t have to go for the king with beatdown. That’s would make any giant deck control.
@@fulltiltgaming yeah I said it wrong. The thing is, you mostly focus on defending in egiant decks while in beatdown decks you're playing more offensively and aggressive, you'll make more tower trades and focus less on defense.
@@fulltiltgaminge giant isn’t exactly control but it isn’t exactly beat down either, it’s like a balance of both.

1. Miner(Tank/win con)
2. Wall breakers(Pressure)
3. Musk(air defense with good dmg)
4. Tesla(Solid building)
5. Valk(Tank)
6. Royal delivery(can tank for no.2 after defending)
7. Poison(miner poison is too good)
8. Log(I hate log bait)
I used to use Skeletons instead of Royal Delivery but there's just too many witches, e barbs, sparkies so I changed it. I also used to use firecracker instead of musk but in grand champion everyone used to take advantage of it and activate king
have a similar deck
1) miner
2)wallbreakers
so good of a combo .
3)magic Archer
4)ornado ( king Tower activations all day and can double as a win condition with the artcher )
5)mini Peka ( can work well as a mini tank with the magic Archer and he kills the swarms used to counter it)
Do you hate Log Bait? Then I have the win condition for you! Mortar - as soon as Log Bait players see it, they might as well uninstall the game because they've already lost.

Do us a honour and delete the game or unalive yourself
heres how you make a good deck
take the most recent couple of meta cards that havent been nerfed yet shove them together regardless of synergy, look at it for two seconds and decide that its either gonna be miner, graveyard, or spam
i mean look at phoenix and all the decks its in
you realize that the gimick of the phoenix is that it has a logbait aspect with its egg? no one uses it for that its just so strong that its a better damage dealer than basically every other card of its type like golem with a logbait card? sure
miner with a logbait card? sure
bridgespam with a logbait card? sure
lavahound with a logbait card? sure
when cards are overpowered they become useable in every archetype
when queen was too good they were actually playing archer queen lavahound like how gross is that? there is no skill involved in deck building anymore
making a balanced deck out of non overpowered cards is an entirely different and way cooler matter but the meta is so op that its kinda usless

What about this deck:Snowball,Goblin gang,mega knight,bandit,mega minion,inferno dragon and e wizz
That's control

Played A Homemade Miner Poison Mortar Control Deck For A Long Time And Switched To The Goblin Giant Meta, And I Can Say That Aggressive Decks Are Easy To Use But The Problem Is, If Your Opponent Is Good At The Game, Then You're Fucked, And If You Play Like Defensive Passive Decks, They Are Usually Harder To Master But It's Usually More Versatile
Me Personally I Like Defending, I'm Not Much Of An Offense Aggressive Guy, But I Really Enjoy Playing Beatdown Decks Like Goblin Giant Decks Or Lava Hound Decks, But My Beatdown Decks Are More Defensed Focused And Relies On Counter Pushes Which Requires More Skill Than Normal Beatdown Decks
So To Summarize From My Experiences
Controlled Slow Defensive Passive Decks : Harder To Master, But More Versatile And Consistent
Aggressive Decks Like Beatdown Decks : Usually Very Easy To Learn And Master, And If It's A Solid Beatdown Deck Like Goblin Giant Or Lava Hound Decks Then It Usually Has A High Winrate, Cons If Your Opponent Is Good Then You're Fucked No Matter How Much You Play Aggressively

I actually use a deck that I custom made and it's pretty good I don't have a legendary but I can successfully beat people who do have because my deck isnt that expensive, has good enough defense and great win condition
My build is based around the max level princess and a slow whittle tactic with a hardcore emphasis on defence
how many win condition cards should I use?
1 or 2
With the new season token I'm gonna max hog rider 2.6 here i come.
i just made this deck i know its fatherless but its ultra fun
Balloon
Lumberjack
Ebarbs(lv14)
Knight
Guards
Firecracker
(yes i know theres no air defense
Toxic
@@Ruben99677 Nah its only toxic if u use toxic emotes
technically speaking archer queen hogs is only toxic if you spam toxic emotes while playing
@@mrak771 e barbs ballon lumberjack kinda toxic
@@Ruben99677 good point i see what you mean
Ah yes, pekka and e-barbs, my favorite win conditions

Fun fact: clash roayle AI of making duel and war decks considers freeze as a big spell which explains why you have freeze with no high damage spell in your deck
Also the Mega Nut and Ebarbs are *DEFENSIVE* cards, but Midladder players choose to ignore that part
right as i watch this video i reach arena 7 thank u
Using this i made a deck!
