waiting for my fnatic x lamzu thorn to arive
Sick
Me2!!!!
Did they ship your order? Because mine is still not processed 😢
@@yuhaowan2820 not yet. they said it should be shipped on the last week of oct or 1st week of nov. very excited for it!
hi, what do u prefer the lamzu atlantis mini or thorn ?
Im aggressive claw grip and gpx is uncomfortable for me
And mz1 is the best for my hand
I should go with lamzu mini or og please?
Mini has an aggressive claw grip
MY NEW TECH ECOMMERCE PROJECT - I want to fix Tech Commerce in SINGAPORE! thetechyard.com/
Will a ryzon 5 3600 support 4K smoothly?
Unlikely.
Hi, just so you note, the grip in the video which you show is actually fingertip and not claw, there isn't any palm touching, whereas in claw, there is quite a bit.
I think thats just me choosing the wrong clip! My main grip definitely has palm contact :) thanks though ill take note
So i'd like to buy the Thorn because as you said i'm not only a person who like lightweight ergo mouse but i also appreciate everything about this mouse... this been said my hands are Just slightly bigger than 18cm and i use palm grip...
would you still buy the Thorn if you were me or that's a no no?
Thank you a lot!
I use relaxed claw grip and my hands are 19x8,5cm, the Lamzu Thorn fits me like a glove. This is my endgame mouse, maybe i buy another one... just to be safe for the next 5+ years.
I just got this mouse and it’s so stinking comfortable!!
Wait, is it really small? Idk ah but then when I tried it felt too big and I have a 18 x 10 hands
Idk lah i think skill issue ah
Its about right for a 18CM hand to do a standard claw grip. But maybe different finger:Palm ratio ?
sorry for out of topic, do you had a chance to get sample review for lamzu maya?
Yea
god damn, subtitles. Zxtech upping his game.
Glad u like it!
It's a good move, but burning them into the video is not great for accessibility. Perhaps you could consider uploading them in text form? YT Studio can automatically sync them for you, so not much extra work if you already have a script!
@wsjudd i decided to burn them in more for retention, truth be told. If i was planning to let yt do it ill let the automated captions work probably. Are you able to control the aesthetic of yt studio captions?
@@ZXTech the auto captions are fairly inaccurate (probably based on the amount of jargon, fairly unavoidable), so uploading a script would still be a big improvement. Users can change the size, but as an accessibility measure I don't think there's a way for creators to change more than the colour
Fun fact, this video was 96 percent correct with Da vinci Resolves auto caption, they even got Lamzu and Zowie right! But yeah, a script is nice. I personally like subtitles as an aesthetic though, so Ill probably just figure out a way to make the text good enough for most + have the shots not clash with it@@wsjudd
I just got mine yesterday and sadly my left click grinds and feels abit loose, other than that I absolutely love the mouse. Great shape for me
Nice to hear. Hope the support can fix ur click
Just return it
In terms of comparing the Atlantis 4k to the thorn which one is better?
They are the same, just choose wich shape you like more.
what do u think compare to ec2 and dav3 would help if u can compare it in this comment!
Much smaller! Only get the thorn if the EC2 or DAV3 is too big
The coating shouldn't be reviewed in 2023+, cuz many people just put the grip tapes on top anyway. And in this case, those are even included in the box.
Some people hate grip tapes, me.included
@@ZXTechIf you don't like the coating, the grip tapes are a possible solution.
No
Where do I purchase it?
I'm absolutely loving mine.
Glad you do
@@ZXTech I feel like it's about as close to a lightweight, wireless Vaxee Outset Ax, shapewise, as I'm going to get. Unless Vaxee surprise me. Glad you're still doing the mouse reviews, btw. Long may it continue.
is lamzu thorn good for 1 3 1 grip?
Decent
Hello. Can you help me with choosing the best mouse for me?
I use relaxed claw grip while angling my mouse towards the left
My handsize is ~ 19 x 11 cm
Thorn
You think? Why would be better for me than ec3?@@ZXTech
@@ZXTech After some time with Thorn I aim better than with g pro but it causes me pain in my right side of palm ;(
@@JanPaweuko i use the same grip as you, and almost identical hand size, using the thorn for 2 weeks now , i don't see any big improvements in my performance but i just love how seamless the mice is in my hands and how much more comfortable it is compared to the gpx
This or the Vaxee NP01S?
This unless u prefer the vaxee shape
Mine feels incredible
Glad you like it!
talking about 4000 hz mice is laughable . specially in wireless versions. the average game quality and server quality dropped so low even 1000 hz is a n overkill
An advantage is an advantage lol. However small, the lowered couple ms doesnt hurt, and its fun to geek out. No need to be dismissive because yousee it as pointless. After all, each to their own.
i would prefer you testing real things like jitter. stability on high speeds. also if slide pads high enough so mouse does not scrape the mouse pad. how automatc sleep mode behaves ets etc. @@ZXTech
@mrpicky1868 sure
People with high end systems benefit, most people with systems that jitter slightly with it or just lag like crazy should be wary about it
i was talking about overall degradation of servers and huge lag compensation implemented right now on most games. you can't do anything about it. online sport is mostly dead at this point@@poppy69420
Glad to see you still making videos :)
Getting back into it!
Also, thanks for the support :3
First!!
Nice!
I have another question😂 if the Thorn is too small for my hands, now that months passed from your video release is there any alternative to it which is very very similar but bigger?
Thx again!
Maybe the Deathadder v3 pro.
I have thorn, atlantis, dav3 pro and viper v2 pro. The razers blow the lamzus totally away
Build quality and tech for sure, but the lamzus are also 10-15g lighter :)
Yeah but that doesnt make it unfortunalety. Nvm the Lamzus are great mice too. The razers are just a bit better
which one do you prefer, dav3 or viper v2?
@@philongpham3886 viper
the polling rate has nothing to do with the monitors refresh rate, at 60hz u can feel the polling rate difference of 1,4 & 8k hz easily if your good at the game
Unless ur doing scientific tests, that feeling of playing better really is more likely to be placebo on low refresh rate. If you are playing on 60hz, you will be wayyyyyyy more bottlenecked by the slower screen so much as the improvements in mouse latency will be a significantly smaller percentage of the frame time/total input latency- that itll be much harder to notice.
@@ZXTech thats true and i understand your point, i appreciate the quick reply, i play on 280hz and have been playing competitively for very very long, i definitely can notice the difference between 1k hz and 4k on my viper v2.
but yk a lot of people cannot do that, a lot of people cannot notice the difference between 200-240hz its almost always because they are very bad but of course at that point no need to be looking at getting above 1k hz mouse yk
@@ZXTech then again the difference from 1-4k mouse polling rate feels equivalent to me as going from 200-240 frames maybe so it is slim and you wont feel a difference unless u switch to lower after playing on high for a while or vice versa, but it is still not going to be placebo for everyone thankfully, since it is real tech
@MastRYT thankfully it is an objective improvement even if u cant feel it :)
coming from a gpx/pulsar x2 Im considering the X2H mini and the Lamzu Thorn. which of these two is better shaped for my hand size and grip? (18x10cm and claw grip) I’ve never used an ergo mouse but after seeing the Thorn this type of shape really caught my attention
X2h review soon
I personally went from the x2 to the thorn and have 19 x 10 1/2 hands. I felt more comfortable with any kind of claw grip with the thorn because of its higher profile and it’s ergo shape better seats it into my palm. While I could really only relax claw the x2.
What it kinda boils down to is if you want a taller mouse with a higher profile or a smaller one.
No mice is untouchable, not even the Superlight despite dominating the pro scene
Untouchable right now. Cos the xlite mini isn’t here yet! Haha i just hyped it up got the title
it's a terrible shape and I hate it. I can't do micro-adjustments with it at all. for me there is no comparison between the two, EC wins all day. I'd use my psb if i want some lightweight ergo action. lamzu thorn is the worst purchase i have made recently
You have to micro adjust in a different way, its more with your wrist. But just not the shape for ur type of grip
Just cos it’s not a good fit for you dont mean it’s terrible. But its a good perspective to hear. Mice are very subjective, and maybe you just need time to get comfortable
@@ZXTech I don't need to spend time to get comfortable with something that lacks of good design and effort. Yes, opinions are subjective and that's what they are. My opinion : Lamzu thorn is terrible in terms of its shape.
@@wangmingchu1379 Terrible for u doesnt make something terrible lol. I wont call a ferrari terrible because it cant carry my family. Terrible for me is subjective. Flat out terrible: Thats an objective comment.
@@ZXTech if I were you I would - one: read the comments carefully. two: stop right here before losing too much credibility
Zxtec, I have a question.
There's no pre-travel on click left and right button of Thorn?
Other reviewers and customer review point out pre-travel.
Before make decision to buy or not, I'm so curious about your honest and smart examine.
Post travel yes, a little. Pre, i can’t perceive any!It could also be related to different hand sizes and grip styles.
Now testing the mouse, i realised if my fingers further backward than my usual grip, i can see a little pre travel too if im really lightly pressing, but imo its not deal breaker level bad!
I think the reason i dont feel any is because my grip has me clicking in the middle of the clicks. If you have similar size hands to mine(19.3 cm long), and you do a claw/relaxed claw you wont feel it
@@ZXTech Very helpful and thank you for your quick feedback! (-;
