Came out really good! How did you make the rust on the gate is it just brown paint?

Do the 1" finnials fit tight on the 1/2" pvc?

I don't remember the sizes I used. However, the ones I used fit nicely on the PVC. They were not tight and didn't require any alterations to fit. If I recall they were slightly loose. I secured them with black dry wall screws.
