- The Doctors are in! This panel consisted of "the doctors" from the various Star Trek series. I enjoyed this panel and, yes, I may be biased since I'm a doctor myself. Despite that, it was great seeing this group and their perspectives from each of their version of Star Trek. The guests included Gates McFadden "Dr. Beverly Crusher" from The Next Generation, Alexander Siddig "Dr Julian Bashir" from Deep Space Nine, Robert Picardo "The Doctor" from Voyager, John Billingsley "Dr. Phlox" from Enterprise, and Wilson Cruz "Dr. Hugh Culber" from Discovery.
Enterprise should have had more seasons. And they should not have killed trip in the series.
Completely agree and they should have a movie, that cast was awesome.
Wait, what? Trip died???
Yep
I don’t count that finale as canon for Enterprise. It was a TNG redux episode (Pegasus). The holodeck program was just throwing random stuff out. As I see it, Tripp lived to die another day.😊
Trip changed after his sister's death. He became too unchecked and fatalistic, so he paid the price. I wouldn;t change his death, but I would resurrect him via Xyrillian hologram technology (Enterprise "Unexpected") or via Holographic universe of photonic life forms (Voyager "the Bride of Chaotica ").
Thanks so much for this! Fabulous capture of this wonderful panel.
Gates McFadden is gorgeous!
Yep. Absolutely stunning. Can’t say I was ever a Beverly Crusher simp but an older Gates McFadden, blimey!!
She really is!
This was simply amazing watching. I feel bad though as usual that there wasn't enough time to ask the questions but all the same love each and everyone of them up on stage, they did wonders for their respective shows. I really wish I could have been there to see this but all the same thanks for putting it up.
Oh, John Billingsley, I loved Dr. Phlox!
I didn't like Enterprise but I did like Philox.
I liked him in Stargate.
What a great panel!! I love them all, and I love that Dr. Kolber joined the group!
I miss De Kelley
It’s so sad he didn’t live to see the resurrection of Trek.
I am unsure what & when you mean "resurrection". TMP 1979 can be considered the first BIG resurrection of Trek, although I would consider the 1973 animated series as the first resurrection & continuation, 4 years after TOS ended. Thus Deforest acted in the animated series & in the first set of movies. And he was also in the first TNG episode in 1987, reprising again as Bones, now at 137 years old, where he was both the tie-in to the old Trek & also of the passing of the torch to "the next generation" of new Trek characters & franchises.

New Trek is garbage. I bet he would have hated it.
he was literally in the pilot to TNG
@@terminat1 A lot of new Star Trek lately has been really good. Also taste is subjective.
@@sarahberkner Indeed. Taste is absolutely subjective. I don't like watermelon, for example.
John Billingsley's Phlox has usurped first place for my favourite line uttered by a regular character. For a long time it was Worf's, "Sir, I protest! I am not a merry man,' from Qpid, which works of so many levels. Phlox's stance after Malcolm complained in Dead Stop that it cannot be ethical to cause a patient so much pain during Reed's rehab following having his leg impaled the previous episode is an absolute killer. "It's unethical to harm a patient; I can inflict as much pain as I like," uttered with as complete a sh*t eating grin as you can imagine, is writing at it's finest. :D I even showed to my physiotherapist who also though it was hilarious.
He has a very Grinch-like grin.
It's sad that Kelly (Dr. McCoy) isn't still with us. Im sure he would have had a few stories to tell
You have to go at some point. He'd be 104 today.
This is so awesome.
Robert Piccardo is my favorite!
I loved this so much its nice
Did anyone else see Dr.Phlox constantly flipping the bird?
I thought it was just me😂 Poor guy, if he hadn't put his two cents in here and there, he wouldn't have talked☹️ I'm not thru it yet, but he isn't addressed very much. Don't blame him for flipping the bird...
i hope they at least mention Bones
bloody love enterprise
Most of the way thru, no sadly☹️ I'm a ghost now, so I guess no longer a doctor, dangit😡😑
Where's Dr Finn ?
about ten minutes in someone comes on stage??
who is that???
Disco Doc
That was weird; why didn't he come on with the rest? I didn't get who he was until like a minute after he sat down. The lighting was a bit bright.
Come to think of it, I woulda loved the cat doctor on😹
They barely included Billingsly☹️
They forgot Trance, the doctor from Andromeda. Also a Roddenberry series.
Can someone please make John Billingsley the next Dr Who?
I watched the original ST when it first came on TV. Loved all STs except Picard and Discovery, too serious too dark they lost that wonderful interaction in both.
I missed Data and his magic. I think they lost that wonderful connection between the characters that gave ST it humanity.
I hated discovery couldn't watch any more of it. Picard season one and season two are bad too. Unwatchable. Season three is excellent. Try watching that. It's Star Trek
No doctor Pulaski?
Who's the last guy?
Dr Culver from Discovery
I'm still waiting for the hypospray
It is nice hearing about the show, but this panel is just filled with pRegressive religious orthodoxy which is annoying.
Alex kurtsman practically destroyed star trek franchise iwth Discovery and Picard season 1 and 2. I don't think he knows anything about trek history. Thankfully he wasnt showrunner for Picard season 3. That was excellent and they knew their trek history. I tried to watch Discovety and wanted to like it but its awful. It didnt deserve 25 weeks. Kurtzman doesnt know how to tell good story and makes characters unlikable.
Discovery is not Trek.
Discovery is antiTrek.
this was rlly good
niner 4eva
Bones McCoy. THE Doctor of Star Trek.
I loved Dr. Pulaski
She gets too much hate, just because it took her a little while to accept Data as a person.
Don't like Pulaski.
Enterprise is set in a time for humanety when it has left behind many things; supposedly, there should be an effervescence of new things in an out.
Every thing so perfect nothing feills nothing corrects it self and rebirth....
I think the host is an Andorian. You know why? Just look close at dose antennae flickering on top of his head.
😂
I was trying to figure that out😂
I had to stop when the doctor of Disco started saying "We are exploring diversity."
Shut up. Star Trek has been diverse since the first episode in 1966. Back then, they also had time to explore the universe, make friends and tell good stories unlike Disco where everybody is distrustrusfull of everyone, betray eachother, are at war with the universe and everything is a secret.
We don't watch Star Trek for Diversity. Diversity is a fact of life in Star Trek. Men were wearing dresses since 1966. There were also transgender and gay people in TNG, DS9...
If your show is the exploration of diversity,,, You are 60 years to late and it is not Star Trek because this identity is not an issue in the future.
Missing two... Where's Andy Dick?
The Doctors of Star Trek need to learn about HIPPA.
11:54 nope cancelled in season 5 and good riddance to STD.
Hollywood is obsessed with virtual signaling lol people nuts but love the shows or the ones before 2005 for sure
I've censored everything after Enterprise from my mind. It's a happy place : )
@@DeLorean4 I get you. I do like Lower Decks, though. It doesn't take itself too seriously, but the writing accomplishes what Disco tried to do, but much better. Imho... I get that people don't like Lower Decks.
11:12 and this is why star trek is dead.
...sadly, discovery won’t reach the 25-year wish, but will end at 5 years... maybe another streaming system will pick the show up😢
What's with the "Firsts" obsession? Trek was trek who cared? I loved every character regardless. But they keep 'othering' people. Surface minded Hollywood folks.
Star Trek doctors meet wokeness. Dislike.
define wokeness
The new modern shows are TERRIBLE.
I had no idea who the gay guy was, so googled "Star trek gay doctor" and got to "Hugh Culber. Man I'm so glad I did not see a single episode of Discovery! 😂
Why are you glad?
George Takei
It's ok to disagree, but it doesn't do anyone any good to be rude or hateful
@@Hotobu No, the actor's name is Wilson Cruz.
