I took my oven door off earlier. It's very old (thanks to the Landlord). It took me 4 hours to figure out how to get it back on. The picture at 3:08 very much helped me. Thank you!
Fantastic product and service. Door broke during lockdown so no-one to fix it and door not manufactured any longer anyway. Glue came within days, even during lockdown. Hi. Much thanks for this!! We have an Electrolux Icon oven. Drips got between the panes of the door. The instruction manual did NOT make it clear how to get the door off the case - but this video made it immediately apparent. With door off could easily remove glass, clean and replace. The front panel of my Hotpoint BD31 oven became unglued, thanks to Eddie at ovendoorglue I was able to remove my oven door clean it up and glue the bottom of the front door to the rear using glue purchased from them. It was simple to do following the video and probably saved me a lot of money. Thanks Eddie at ovendoorglue.
Thanks Eddie it's only a few days old and its letting out hot air from the top of the oven so I'll go back to the guy I bought it from again thanks for taking the time to reply
Thanks for this. Is it possible that I have locked the hinges in such a way that they can never be unlocked? I locked them, took the door off, put the door back on, then unlocked them, but the door then fell off and the hinges sprang shut. Now I cannot budge them. Any ideas?
we have an electrolux built in fan assisted gas oven. The top right hand corner of oven door does not seem to fit tightly. We have had new hinges on door.. but the top is still slack... any ideas please
Hi Booguloo, it is very unlikely that you have locked them so that they cannot be unlocked. It sounds as though when you put the door back on, you had not fully located the door before unlocking the hinges. The hinges do have quite a snap on them, so keep your fingers well away. Hi Eddie, I have purchased glue from you and I am awaiting delivery. The outer glass on my oven shattered but now have replacement. It seems to just glue onto door frame, no part of the oven door frame surrounds the glass. Just seems to be eight beads of silicone glue approx six inches long on door frame and then outer glass pressed onto the glue. Obviously this is done with oven door placed on a flat surface and glass placed down on top to glue. Have you any videos showing this type of repair.

Unfortunately I do not have a video for the repair you mention, however provided you can take the door off, then the repair should be as straight forward as you explain. The kit comes with a scraper that will easily remove the old glue, then once everything is washed down, rinsed and dried, use the wipe in the kit to give a final wipe over the areas that the glue is to be used in (the original locations of the old glue should guide you). The kit comes with instructions and gives curing times, etc. We are also available on our website for "live chat" and a freephone 0800 telephone helpline, to answer any specific questions you may have. If your door is sideways opening, please take account of the warnings that we send in our dispatch email, regarding the removal of sideways opening doors, before you attempts removal. Sideways opening doors sometimes have captive plates that take the screws for the hinges, and once removed, the captive plates are not as captive as they should be, and can drop!
Hi Derek, I am sorry, I cannot say, it could be lots of things, from a faulty hinge to a misaligned door. It could be some food that has fallen into the hinge - so check that first, but assuming that is not the case, If it is new you should speak to the manufacturer and get a warranty repair.
Thanks for your hints... Next time I need to buy a stove, I'll make sure I take a good look at the door hinge mechanism and save myself a headache HaHa!

I have an Electroulux. There is s small opening sensor beneath the filter which get clogged. My dishwasher started to alarm for 'flood warning' and overflowing to the emergency bottom drain. Very bad. So I googled and saw dozen or more posts about faulty Electrolux washers which they replaced with new ones. Costly... Turns out this hole was clogged by food and the dishwasher didn't know it was full with water and kept filling until it flooded the bottom emergency department. I removed the dirt from the hole sensor and the machine works well again. If you have an Electrolux which keepd alarming and wont clean. Check this hole. It will save you 1k dollar. Check the overflow sensor hole.

Removing the oven door for cleaning, etc: See the all important "Turnscrew Hinge" = 00:50sec.
