Absolutely fabulous! As usual. Every time I find something new to learn with Paul. Special thanks for your plain, Royal English so very easy to follow!
I get very humbled by all these comments. All I'm trying to do is teach in the correct way that everyone understands. I just wish I was better at getting the visibility on the channel as I am no IT expert so it would be much appreciated if you would share it, I will continue to invest the beer donations that I receive predominantly into the new video technology that I'm learning with tracking cameras and better audio to make it easier for everyone to understand. (I can't drink like I use to: Getting Old LOL) I'm also employing someone now to assist me in my workload really appreciate you supporting the website.

Thank you very much! hopefully our 22 year old Neff is salvageable.. plus it needs a new door seal, the temperatures have rubbed off the dials and the fan stopped working years ago. Apart from that it's fine 🤣

Great vid . My Belling oven door is not closing . Thanks to video I now know about retaining plates . Phoned Belling Waste of time ..Not sure if full strip down needed to remove retaining plate . Can you help. Mines a Belling double oven
Excellent video: clear, concise, informative, and each step follows a logical progression. And then my mom told me to leave it alone because they're buying new. Sigh.
Sigh it doesn’t matter what you try to do to stop built-in obsolescence. The consumer is the one that dictates the inevitable conclusion. Happiness is the most important thing in life.

Love the videos, you are very good at explaining; I have an Electrolux EOD5330X electric oven. The main door doesn’t close at the top. I have taken the door off and checked out all of the metal hinge bits as you suggested in your video, there was no obvious wear or damage to any part. Re-assembled again, the gap at the top is still there. When the door is fully open, there is no movement but when nearly closed the door can be lifted up a little and may be this why the door doesn’t close at the top. Question is; which part needs replacing? Also the top oven outside door glass needs replacing, now discontinued, can I replace this glass with “normal’ safety glass ?
So it's christmas afternoon and just about to put the turkey in and the door hasn't shut properly for a year or so, I bought new hinges and that didn't work so I've just stripped out the plates inside the AEG oven and sure enough they were bent, a quick hammer later and we are back in action. Thank you some much. However the coverplate where I was too lazy to pull the oven ou,t cut the back of my hand to shreds. But the oven do solid closes now. :)
So it’s a little blood I might be a bit sore but your hand doesn’t feel half as bad as a turkey. Glad you managed to get it fixed. Have a great Christmas.

The hinge or the carrier plates only needs to be out of aline slightly to create a large gap at the top..
