THIS EXPLANATION IS BY FAR A MUCH MORE INFORMATIVE DESCRIPTION THAN THE OFFICIAL NEFF VIDEO. IT SHOWS YOU THE WAY THE MECHANISM WORKS ANS SHOWS YOU EXACTLY HOW THINGS SHOULD BE ALIGNED IN ORDER TO REPLACE THE DOOR. FULL MARKS ! THANKYOU.
Agree, I got really stuck because I couldn't get it back on properly, then I watched this about lifting the handle to get it back on and all was sorted.
Thank you so much for this ;) The instructions were useless, but doing it your way was a doddle! Instructions say to do the two stages the other way around, and says to have the door at 45 degrees!!
Thankyou. After fapping about for an hour with a Neff produced 'how to' video trying to get the door back on I searched and found yours. Five minutes later all sorted.
Really good video. Especially the close up of the mechanism. I broke my locking clips because I missed a step, and with this video close-up I knew exactly what it should look like to put it back. It’s a lot easier when you follow the instructions!
Thank you so much I followed another video to remove it to replace a broken side rail. Having to wait a few days before the replacement arrived I then couldn’t work out how to fit the door back on. Really great tutorial video you have here and a massive help! much appreciated 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Same here!! This video was exactly what I needed. I reckon a fair few people break that rail trying to pull the door off without the extra unlock step. At least that’s what I did!
Greatly needed video. I so need to see how to remove , cleanand replace the glass of the oven door. Also How to clean the oven and if we can leave the racks and the grease pans inside while cleaning. It is easier to understand watching it being done. Please and thank you in advance to consider my request. All the best to you!🥰
Hi Thank you so muсh! I did mistake when uninstall the door, and when i try to install it back, faced with problem. With your video i find and fix it quickly. 👍👍
Better than the Neff vid. Would say though to lock, the one on the left goes clockwise and on the right counter clockwise. When refitting obviously reverse. The Neff one says unlock the runner bar first which results in it moving from where it should be when you lift the door off. Absolute nightmare😤 to get it back in place aligning with the other two runner guides on each side. Shall get it right next time!!👍
Thank you for this excellent instruction. I have one question: the lock "Arretierung" cannot be removed. That was a problem right from the beginning. What can I do? thanks in advance. Hannjörg
I completely regret buying NEFF products for our new kitchen. Having to REMOVE the glass in order to clean it should tell you everything you need to know. I never had any cleaning problems with our Siemens ovens which we fitted in our previous home refurbishments. Thank you for your tutorial, which is was better than the NEFF official one or their extremely poor online manual!
Any advice for if the springs on the side have clipped out? One of mine has (the right spring) and I’m now unable to flick it back up to insert the sliding bar again. If that makes any sense!? Haha. Any help would be appreciated.
great post thank you. any ideas if I have over stretched pulled the metal bits that go into the door. I think it happened before and it over extended and has now locked. I can't get it back. An engineer came and sorted it quickly and I'm just trying to remember what he did. Thanks
hi just wondered if you can help my hide and slide door broke the plastic side on the hinge part I've now got a new side but there are two small springs i don't know where they hook on to thanks in advance for any help
Help! I wish I had seen your instructions before Neff. The bar has not stayed in place despite locking in place prior to removing the door. How do I solve this problem please?
The bit that you said puts you in a pickle i.e. the right side grey screw and associated black circles spring thing are now not aligned and the locking bar is now loose. I tried pushing the two black bits forward but grey screw doesnt lock it. Can I just try to reattach the locking bar with the right two black bits not locked? Help
Mine are both marked between glass panel. How do u separate them to clean? My owns are spotless but look dirty because of the glass. Have a professional out but he refused to remove door in case it broke 😥
I need some help as the bar that supposed to be in place with the help of the lateral hooks has been realised… and I can’t put the oven door back in place… any advice?
Hey anyone wondering what the hell to do if you took the door of and can’t put it back. One reason could be what happened to be, the actual roller hinges snapped back into place. So I could slide the door in. To fix it, took me a whole to work but you can shove the roller things back and down, mimicking a door, you will hear a slight click and then you can let go and they should stay in place at a nice angel for you to slide the door back on.
Hello, i have an issue i clean my door and i reinstall it but 3day after the door is block opened, one side isnt moving after the door start angling, do you know if i cant do somethig about that
Hi Ian! I need help! I just took off the oven door to clean it. But now one hinge is pushed down (left) like in the video, the right one is up. Pushing it down then turning the little plastic screws in the « towards oven » position again doesn’t lock the hinge in place. Looks like the right plastic screw has no effect on the right hinge 😰 Help!
Help i took the door off and managed to get it back on again but its got stuck in the hide position 😱. So the door wont pull out so i can close it! And obviously cant get to the roller bar etc 😱😢
hello, I remove the door, but (maybe I did a mistake) my two buttons (which you touched in 2.46) in both sides are up (instead of down as yours)! So, it is impossible to re-install my door. How can I replace them in their right position?
Hello Christos, up or down you just need to make sure the hinge the locks to door back on the oven is open so you can get the door back on and locked in position. Hope that helps
We've got an odd problem with our Neff oven where the door handle no longer remains horizontal as the door is opened. I guess that the door frame contains some kind of gearing between the handle and the hinge that's broken. Any idea what could cause this?
Jon, inside the door on each side is a cable which controls the sliding motion and the movement of the door handle. The cable wear over time. It’s sounds like yours may have broken.
@@ovencleaningtrainingacademy I think you're right, the frayed broken end of a thin cable is just visible in a gap by the handle. I'm nervous about trying to remove the door in case I can't get it to fit back on because the broken cable means the "lift the handle slightly" part of your instructions probably won't have any effect.

Yes I got it back on after a bit of stressing about what professional I would need to call and several attempts of what seemed impossible. I ended up getting it back on. Thought I was going to break something for sure!
Can someone help me? The inside glass fell off my door, I need to find the top hooks ( one got lost ) and a suitable adhesive. Where can I find replacement hooks and adhesive?🤞
It's far easier to flip the small cog upwards on both sides of the door whilst in the closed position, then pull the door forward and turn the slotted screw on left and right bottom cam.
The bar gies across the oven base and sits in the runners with 2 wheels on each side of the oven. You need to make sure the bar is back in the runners and then locking the runners in place before placing the door back on. The only way for the bar to come off is if the door isn’t locked in place correctly.
I tried for an hour multiple different tutorials . Still didn't work . However I have taken them off a year ago and it worked. Maybe something went wrong last time and now it won't come off. Bloody annoying
That second action, "unlocking" between the oven door and frame is impossible to find on my model. Truly a terrible design, oven has been stained between the glass panels from the first usage. The worst appliance we have ever bought.
It’s a shame that we have to resort to RUclips to obtain explanations for a product that is well over priced and poorly designed, with a bit more thought it could have been designed much better than it is personally I would not buy another Naff sorry Neff oven certainly not worth the money and no better than a lot of other brands .

Your right. Lift the handle slightly won’t work. You may need brute force to remove the door which could create other issues with damage.
