Mine manual recommends molybdenum disulfide. Is white lithium better?
@@WearilyMistaken Moly disulfide is great at high temperatures, but it is a solid lubricant so it might wear away quick unless it's within a grease.

This gives me the idea that you can tune how it runs by not only swapping out the recoil spring, but also running different size slides to control the weight of the reciprocating mass. And instead of running an optic on the slide, you can have weighted plates/ charging handles that fit the optics cutout while using the side mounted optics rail.
Yep! I will mess with it when I get time, haven’t been able to yet. The P365 short slide is 7.5 oz, the XL/macro is 9.2, which seems to shoot a little better. I plan on making a very long slide and playing with weights and springs.
And I’ll make a long slide/comp combo which will likely be the best.
It’s a weird gun, very violent, but very controllable. I’m halfway to getting GM in PCC USPSA with it.
That would be really cool to see. I'm hoping for a threaded 6in barrel, but I think the shroud would make it difficult to attach anything to it. So, maybe that larger slide would solve that. Fingers crossed there'll be some good availability for us civilians.

@@BenfromFlux Iv'e wanted to run my raider in USPSA, was told I cant because its not a "rifle" with the brace. Do you run the extra mag? couldn't find a rule that covered that, just something about coupled mags. You have given me hope, I'm going to try to convince the MD again.
yeah, unless it’s an outlaw match or a cool director, they won’t allow braces. I appendix carry and shoot the short stock version.
I put an extra mag in the front usually while competing, but after posting a classifier .02 seconds off of GM someone linked the rule book, I am pretty sure the reload mag HAS to come from the belt. So I don’t use it anymore, but I will Barney load from it and keep it there - maybe the weight helps.

I think the stock for these handguns aren't meant for the quickdraw, if you need to fire asap then i'd use it as normal, and follow up with the stock when you've delt with the initial threat.
But... that looks like a fidgit toy, but tacticool, like so much fun, we can see you had a lot of fun with it, especially seeing what you want to add to it.

Great news about the optic side mount. I put a deposit down on one of these and thought I'd have to buy a new slide became I dont have an optic cut P365. Now I can just cannibalize my existing P365. Been wanting to upgrade to an XL or Macro for carry anyways

My 365xl runs great with an R9 and a Griffen booster and piston. In pistol configuration. 124 blazer is sub sonic through a Faxon 365xl barrel. Just FYI.

I know it's not as cool, but you should review the Recover Tactical 20/20 using a Glock 17/19/34/17L, or a Dagger. It is a tad more bulky than this, or even the fullsize Raider, But I really like the top rail red dot placement rather than slide mounted, and the optional side rails.
Don’t trust that optic mount, it does not hold zero, and certainly won’t take a drop.

If you run the optics bridge and elevate your face, you might have suppressor Bukakke hit your cheek and go up under your glasses. That’s what happened to me with the Flux Raider and Glock Raider.

Okay, so a list of things: The guys at Flux Defense were intentionally running their holster-able Raider 365s without the retaining latch, exactly how you tried run here. And I believe that the "long" stock length won't actually be available with the brace attachment, because of the stupid ATF opinion that a length of pull longer than 13.5 inches automatically results in the object being a stock. Yes, the longer length of pull combined with the over-the-slide red dot mounting location will result in the least awkward cheek weld. And running as little additional weight on the slide as possible (because no red dot) will theoretically make the gun run more reliably with a suppressor attached. Every fraction of an ounce matters. Lastly, all P365 FCUs have the ability to run a manual safety. You simply have to have a grip frame that allows one to be installed, and the Raider 365 falls into this category. The little notch in the frame above and behind your thumb is specifically for this. Obviously, if you were to run a Raider 365 without a holster, you'd probably choose a single point sling. And it's this use case that would basically require the addition of a manual safety.

The p320 raider is definitely a more sensible product, the p365 version probably needs a v2.
It's like they sent out a bunch of these to be reviewed but somehow had plan for releasing them to the public

Love this, I've always wanted a small setup like this. Take a look at the "ENDO Tactical" Stock Adapter for Glock. I'm interested to see what you think of it.
Have it on an SBRed Glock. It's unjustifiably bulky. You end up with something the size of a PCC, but other than a stock, all the disadvantages of the original pistol relative to a PCC. I'll probably replace it with whatever Flux introduces to replace their discontinued Glock offerings.
What I have seen so far is using this gun at typical handgun distances. (ie, regular handgun) What advantage does the stock perform against the downsides? Why not just use a standard pistol? For the distance that a handgun cartridge is effective this doesn't seem like you would be using this for 100 yard shots.

i have the hux cash9k and it is significantly quieter with the direct thread mount compared to the trilug or booster mount. the direct thread mount take up less volume in the space before the 1st baffle.
