As a classical singer, one of my favorite things in music is textpainting- where the music matches the words (a descending scale on the word “falling” is a good example). I’m not in the world of ballet so much, so what I saw was an epiphany for me: She did a slow turn on a musical turn (re-mi-re). I never realized you could textpaint through dance. What a revelation in my outlook! My favorite thing entwined in yet other medium. How beautiful!
That’s what good ballet is allll about. 🥰 And why Swan Lake is so incredible (once the original choreography was redone…). The last two scenes are mesmerizing to me.
When the music and the dance have that symbiotic relationship where they both compliment and inform each other. I have watched countless ballets where the dancer was technically amazing and "interpreted" the music well. THIS was one of those rare moments where the dance and the music were one entity, setting a mood, telling a story. Blown away...
I absolutely loved the simplicity of the choreography and interpretation by the dancer. It was true and honest dancing without the 500,000 turns and tricks. So refreshing. Congratulations ❤
I don't know if young Haley will ever read this, BUT: you moved me to tears. you are the most graceful and beautiful human being i have ever seen. I really really hope you are still dedicated to dancing. Wish you the best.
At times something done classically well, with feeling, with heart, is more powerful than anything "new". Haley, you gave me the feeling of the Avante Garde that existed at the turn of the century and brough the essence of that time to me. As a professional dancer and choreographer, thank you.. It was refreshing.
very beautiful! It is so amazing to me how anyone cam move this way. God given talent, because no matter how much training someone gets, most people can never dance like this ever.
It’s so weird watching these videos I get such nostalgic and deja-vu feelings but I’ve never been a dancer before except when I was like 2-3 and I don’t think I ever did competition ether it just makes me so nostalgic and like I want to dance
I am so glad you enjoy it! I can't take any credit for the music but I agree, when I first heard it I fell in love with it and knew I had to choreograph to it!
This ballet performance is done by the main character named Luna, who is a ballerina, from the Brazilian soap opera 'Alma Gêmea.' The ballerina is cowardly murdered right after her performance in the first episode. I recommend watching it.
@@brunabarros2404 Hi Bruna! Are you saying it is the exact same performance? I created this with my student years ago, this is the original performance and my choreography.
Heyy! Just a reminder, if you're trying to go on your toes without pointe shoes (and without proper training) that is quite dangerous. I understand if it was a joke, but be safe please! :)

The purpose of dance is to text paint. Therein lie the counts/the tempo that you practice without the music, and then with it.

Such a whimsical performance. I love her expression and her elegance.

She is so graceful. Grave is the last thing to show up in your dancing because it just takes time. Beautiful ❤️
What a beautiful technician! I cannot wait until her emotions and her body meet in real time. Watch out world!!!!!!
So impressed! That music is very hard to count!

Really nice choreography and a mature performance from a 14 year old! 💚

La manière dont elle utilise ses bras est magique. J’en oublie de regarder ses pieds.

It’s might just be me but her pointe shoes seem really dead
That’s what I thought. She still danced beautifully though!

Un po' ripetitivo. Così risulta noioso
