I got PR in 2015. For subclass 189 the cutoff is 65 points. 70 points are fine. But if you have any chance to increase it to 5 more through PTE score that would be great. If so you have good chances to get EOI invitation fast. Even for 70 points you can get invitation. The whole process takes around 8mo to 1 yr. Make sure to attach all documents and provide all info. Queries can delay the process.

Most of the casual jobs are filled by students. There is another option - Trying with Work holiday visa. This allow us to work full time along with holidays. Once employer directly know us he might sponsor. (on shore sponsoring). I'll make a Video on this soon with complete details.
