    Nice video bro. I remember you in this event and in some other events in the past. I was the one sitting near the black car at minute 6:26 because I was injured in a fall in Berembun and at minute 8:59 in CP5 who was receiving treatment. Thankfully I was still able to finish the run about 1 hour behind you. Congratulations to you bro👍

      Stefan Ong thank you for your suggestion. I already planned to do a Ultra Trail race in Thailand (at Betong) coming February. Do you have any good recommendation for Ultras in Indonesia?

    • @stefanong1917
      @stefanong1917 Год назад +1

      @@RunUncleRun The most prestigious Ultra-Race in Indonesia is Mesastila 100 in Central Java. I think you have to register as soon as possible for the shorter distances once they are open. For longer distances I am not sure.

    Awesome and congratulations. May I ask:
    1. Did you use run walk run 30/30 where possible?
    2. What running watch did you use and did it have sufficient power for the entire run while tracking with gps in running mode?
    3. As you ate your meals, is this time counted in your overall timing?

    • @RunUncleRun
      @RunUncleRun  2 года назад +1

      Bernard Ong Thank you. For this Ultra distance I used run/walk ratio of 20/40 (Run 20sec/Walk 40sec). I used Garmin FR945 which can last for about 20hrs with GPS mode, so I have to used power bank to charge it at drop bag check point. The cut-off time of 29hrs is count by elapse time means whether you stop for eating or resting the time will keep counting non-stop.

    Im going to do 60km category next week. Im bit scared. This is going my longest ultra trail run..i have done 50km ultra road run. Do u think i can do this?

    • @RunUncleRun
      @RunUncleRun  Год назад

      Aarondell I believed you can do it. Just try to run at your own pace and not to follow the rest of the runners which usually they will start at quite fast at the beginning. There should be enough time for you to complete within cut off time as long as you keep moving forward even by just brisk walking. Wishing you all the best.
