One of the most talented singers I have ever seen! To listen to both of them is the highest musical education and joy at the same time ! Thank you so much 🙏🏻
Steve Cooneyis one of the finest living guitarists, anywhere, in any genre. Absolute inspired genius. Iarla singing in his native language (and even in english) is one of the greatest voices in any genre, as well. Soul-rendingly pure.
Also, have to say, wonderful to hear Mr. Cooney sing harmony in Irish in the macronic song, and also he clearly speaks and understands a fair amount of it. There is no deeper show of respect and gratitude for a place and her people than to learn to function in her ancient, fantastic language.

My god can there be any better, more tasteful accompaniment than master Cooney on guitar?
My American born Granddaughter once said to me the Gaelic language was made for song. How true when we listen to this beautiful rendition! 🕺💃
And poetry
sometimes the most beautiful music in the world is heard in whispers in the corners in the dark

World class. Haven't heard much gaelic music before and this cuts straight to the heart. You have a new fan in Berlin.

Sublime
Bliss to listen to the voice of streams & mountains, sunlight on mornings brow & all sins forgiven.
What a pure voice and accompanied beautifully. I've only just discovered this through an interview he did with Peter Gabriel. Thank you.

Well...this must be the best version of "SIÚL A RUÍN" ever.
