    As much as we’d like to control the events in our lives, ultimately the only thing we can control is how we think and feel about them. No matter what plans we formulate, or what steps we take, we have no guarantees around how anything will work out. And our lives can be turned upside down, for “better” or “worse”, at any moment in time.

    Weird.. just in the beginning when it was talking about suspicion I was at this park no less than 15 minutes ago a person riding his bike behind my back while I was sitting on top of this table at around 8pm at night this man screams at me on his bike who am I where I'm from with his hand on his pocket lord knows what was in there for me... but while I was scared I answered hey I'm just listening to this video.. he then angrily responds to me his gang and he reached to a fist pump I didn't do it but just gestured it's okay.. he looked a bit more angered and left near the other side no far than where I was on a different bench... Manly P Hall was talking about suspicion with the ipad on full volume while having a fearful conversation with the gang dude... one minute later i calmly left.. looking at the moon Thank you God.

      Not everyone can take what he has to say without being compelled to madness. Imagine we were all born in a “post apocalyptic” world. Would that world be acceptable to us or bearable even? Would we need a lie to keep us going long enough to bear the truth? Might it take decades of personal education to adapt after birth before confronting the existential crisis we are confronted with? The moral strength of a few will stampede the herd, let’s hope all of our bearings are in good order...

      It just takes a conviction to right actions. Maybe it will take an apocalypse and destruction of all the wrong use of power to cleanse this world. Starting from scratch and adherence to the ONLY LAW man is relegated to obey, natural law.

    • @mildreddavis1684
      @mildreddavis1684 5 лет назад +3

      Apocalypse means to be revealed or uncovered - as is the process in this age [transitioning out of Piscean to the Aquarian/ascending out of the lowest consciousness -level Kali yuga cycle]
      We do not need to start from scratch, as if to destroy all. The old paradigm structures that binds mankind are being destroyed as to make room for new paradigm structures that will actually help humanity.
      Remember, as The Solvay Conference in Physics stated - our emotive intent affects outcomes [as within so it is without].
      Replace anxiety and fear with knowledge - let the veil of ignorance be removed as to face life with the inner strength within

    • @chrisskinner7554

      We are all vain at times. We are infinite possibility at our core. Think of it in terms of an instrument like a piano. Every time you play a note (make a decision) you are rejecting all other possible keys at the same time. Just because you play a certain song does not mean you dont have the complete instrument necessary to play any other combination you wish. We are the instrument and our lives are the song we decided to play. Never think of yourself as anything less than the instrument.

      @@charliewaterman1830 always considered vanity to be someone who loved themselves above others in any way shape or form and that's why I considered myself the antithesis of vain. I always had a downer on myself, a big one. But it's still vanity, whatever the degree, be it self love or self hatred. It's still vanity. I'd hazard to suggest vanity is closely linked to pride also because I'll admit I'm exceedingly prideful haha. But I have a feeling I'm far from then only person operating under some serious misapprehensions about my character, which kinda comforts me... Which is partially why I've probably not recognised this shit for so long, because I blend in with the rest of the world well. It's easy to forgive yourself for being abit of a shit when everyone else is also abit of a shit. Which I never thought before, again self awareness completely askew 😂

      Mr. Hall dedicated his entire lifetime to making available, to all who seek, the collective wisdom of the world's cultures throughout human history. His aim was to help keep this lamp of wisdom lit so that others may find their own way through the darkness. To our knowledge, he never described himself as being 'enlightened'.

I was just pointing out to his listeners to understand that no matter how much knowledge one has about any topic any culture, all information is secondary to the disposition of enlightenment. What he says is extremely enlightening, but his disposition was egoic. due to his position he became a figurehead of some kind. He had a position in life. Many people respected this position.
