- A ship I have been thinking about making for some time. Just threw it together recently. I really love the 2cm beam mod, along with the various other weapons mods shown on this ship. its main weapon is a Ion cannon and is supplemented by many other cannons. Has a full interior, but needs refinement.

As far as superweapons go in SE, this is much cooler looking than the normal superlaser mod.

This is probably one of, if not the best ship ive seen in a long ass time. The gun placement is the only real issue i see with this but otherwise its perfect lmao. Seems like it would need an escort ship or two. I wonder how small you can make that while still being effective. Imagine a smaller escort ship having similar abilities.

for the record of size thoes combiner are the size a pair of gates on top of one another so they BIG (so roughly 5x5x5 in size) alone that takes a shit ton of space plus all the beam generaters for such a system ya need a few of em and that power draw gets STUPID.

I love this, personally, reminds me of some sort of Halo battle cruiser. I am a big halo fan and all so sorry if you are annoyed by that, but i mean it as a compliment. It looks incredible and extremely complex in my eyes. I haven't played SE in a little while and never got into it that much, but this makes me want to get into it even more :) Wonderful
Thank you, not takin badly at all! If my stuff can be on par with halo, I'm cool with that. This one isn't really too complex, at least compared to my other stuff. And like all my stuff, there's a lot of room for refinement.
This thing has a very Anime feel to it. I'm amused that you had the broadside guns firing to the bow, which seems to have caused an explosion on deck, but we'll ignore that for the moment. I feel like an artillery ship like this needs an escort convoy, those guns are almost certainly a dangerous proposition when they have to unfold so many things, leaving the ship a bit more defenseless. But yeah, first thought I had when I saw the bridge superstructure and the missile bays was Salamis, but when the wave gun opened, I thought Yamato. I feel like with a little bit more dressing, that bridge could have a very strong anime-esque feel to it as well. Maybe narrow the Captain's chair rise a bit, and give the CIC consoles a bit more enclosure to them, like halfblock separation or something?
Yeah, she ain't perfect lol. Yamato was a big inspiration in this build. and I agree, this would defiantly need a escort fleet. Id love to see a pic of what your talking about for improvements!

I spent 3 hours trying to get a ramp to open and close and by the end, every time I tried to fly with it closed, the whole ship spun like a damn propeller. And then you make this awesome example of insanity and I feel even dumber.
This do be lookin like a SBY ship. Finally, the Space Battleship Yamato anime is getting more attention. Nice WMG by the way.

Loved the video Apologies! Loved the intro at the start of the video man! Space Battleship Yamato anyone? This ship looks like it could easily take on the Green Drone Armada (GDA) Forces from Captain Jack's "Colony Lost" Series! Have you ever played with the Water mod by Jakaria and made builds using it and WeaponCore before?

This reminds me of the starship Yamato. Mainly in the wave motion gun and the triple barreled main guns. The missiles are awesome

What surprised me the most is, the designs has to work together in order for the main weapon to work. I actually like the design thought but It can be vulnerable when it's about to fire.

The 2cm Beam System was one of if not the first mod I got, and the first thing I tried with it was a giant rover using it for a main cannon

I haven’t put a stopwatch on it, but it’s prob around 5 mins for full power
@@ApologiesSE thats a lot, ion not laser beam, i pressume ? last time i checked, laser beam craft quickly took out shield and plenty of blocks behind it and it could fire 3 times in a minute. But that was 2 years ago, havent messed around with it much since then.
@@KrakenIsMahB I spose I could have crammed more generators in it, but it feels more realistic at a longer charge time, not spamming a OP weapon
@@ApologiesSE I couldnt imagine cramming much of those ion generators in there, they are enormous. Yeah, I suppose i made it kinda OP, cant remember how many laser generators I used (maybe 16?) but it was for dual laser turret, you can check it in here, it was all in front of side hangars, it has little hatch somewhere to check and repair internals. steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1809980800

What weapon mod is used in minute 3:01? It appears to be some kind of torpedo. If you can share the mod link I would appreciate it. Great video.
Sorry for late reply just found the video myself but I can anwser you.
The torpedo are from Mexpex homing missile mod refer as M-1.
Other weapon mod that I see are as follow:
-Mexpex MWI- weapon collection 1
-OKI grand weapons retextured mod
-Northwind weaponS mod
-MA weaponcore weapon mod
-2cm beam mod (broken unfortunately)

The preparation to fire the laser takes too long. Too much becomes exposed. Could easily disable the laser or possibly destroy the ship itself if it in the right spot.

i'm really sorry to say this but i guess you wasted your time with this. it's a nice ship without question but i wouldn't see it as anything more. a really nice optic model with the function to intimidate (when it gets high). with the performance situations a ship with so many problems will bring to a server and that's for sure. this game needs so much improvement. and until then i think it's just a waste of resources for proper use of big spaceships. i've seen some servers go down because of something like this. just by making the cannon ready. and these were not just any billo nitrado/Gportal server. but even really strong servers that circulate with high sums in the 200-300 € range. i guess most people know this now but just one rotor set incorrectly can already lead to problems.
It’s never a waste of time, most of my projects aren’t feasible for multiplayer, or they are over complex to where it doesn’t make sense to even build. I do it because I like to make those things, and this game allows it. It would be great if multiplayer could handle it, but it’s not going to stop me even if it can’t 😉
