- 1st time out for September Steelhead - missed 3 good bites and finally landed a fresh Chrome Beast .Lots of camera issues today so not the best video - audio problems and camera shutting down.

Bill, Congrats on the awesome new center pin; it sure handled that big steelhead. What a beautiful fish. We have been moving to a new house so I haven't been fishing in quite a while. It's supposed to cool down this weekend so the fall season will start soon.

This video is proof that Bill is 1 of us die hards!! I had a feeling he wasnt just here for likes but really had the fishing bug that so many of us share. He said ," i gotta get outta here before i get a heat stroke. O this hole looks good let me try a couple drifts." No time for heat stroke when you find a decent looking hole😂 Stay safe big brother!! There will be some cooler days coming

Awesome reels!!!! I actually traded a kingpin zeppelin for a CPR delta 535 and love it 1000 times more! Never did see him at any of the Phish shows that I've been to, but then again I probably wouldn't remember if I did anyway and

I have to say, the new reel looks really nice. I’m glad you didn’t get skunked even though you came close. Weather and water conditions didn’t look ideal, looked like water was extremely low and way too hot to steelhead fish. Fish you got looked like a resident, looked like she was ready to spawn. Need to cool off before you can enjoy fishing again.

Nice to see some in the big creek already and nice to see you get your first of the year, many to come. I’m still looking for my first trip might not be till October with this warm weather.

Great first trip out!!! Great reel too!! Maybe I'll be lucky enough to run into you out that way somewhere when i bring a couple of my kids out for a steelhead trip on some erie tribs.

Boy her eyes were real white and small pupiled due to the high sun, warm and shallow water... unlike the darker black color they normally are when its cloudier out and colder. Her color looked real summerish creek like to.... I KNEW you were about to drop a video any day i could feel it since your on those erie tribs this time of year.! I Thought ya had a stroke or something when i first heard in the beginning!! I was ... i said to myself, "ohhhh nooooo not like this!" Glad your ok bro. Im so pumped to get some chrome. Im DYIN INSIDE WAITING ON EM! lake o trib guy here. Cant stand salmon fishing... i wont and dont fish em

Props for toughing it out in that heat...I won't even look at my pin until September is over. Still hoping to grab some steelhead/browns/salmon from my boat as they head near shore for staging...the window is short once they head in. Have a bad feeling that steelhead season is going to get shorter and shorter with these warm Fall months and earlier endings to Winter. The season seems to keep narrowing. No cold weather/significant rain in sight for at least the next couple of weeks. Next time you hit the big trib bring a bat with you in case you run into the guys who are slitting those steelhead and dumping them for eggs...unbelievable man.

i like it - its more of a faster action tip better for jigs but good for just drifting sacks and beads

I've been hitting the piers pretty hard the last hour of daylight into a couple hours thru dark then about 4am till about 8. There's some kings trickling in but lots of casting with no bites. Gotta small jack King on mooneyes spoon. The parking lot at burt had 2 cars 1 day last week when it was a Lil cooler but it's been empty since that day. Im keeping my eyes open for sure!!!
