Had such a great time exploring this amazing city. The coffee culture and community in Denmark is so strong, I don't think I've ever had so many suggestions flood in in such a short period of time after posting where I landed! Thank you to everyone who reached out with a recommendation, I made it out to as many as possible in my very short time in the city. I will be back!!
This entire video was filmed on the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and photographs one the Fujifilm X100VI. This is SUCH a killer travel combo. After taking my full A7Siii rig to Italy last year, I can't explain how nice the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 was to film on with almost no noticeable hit to video quality.

Always fun to watch videos from my country! Hope you enjoyed your stay :D
Very very much so!
Loved the interspersed photos - maybe this will become a travel coffee channel ;)
Italy and Denmark aren’t a bad start!
Thank you for taking the time to visit. We hope you enjoyed Copenhagen.
Absolutely did!
Only wish we could have also seen the other April location as well!
More reviews, more impressions. Why not go on a small coffee tasting trip^^
Would love to take a dedicated coffee trip to a few places! Obviously need to find the funds to pay for the travel though
Also a bit tough because these videos typically get so few views relative to gear-focused ones... but they're the most fun to make!
@@LifestyleLab_ Sry I meant tour, while you're still(?) in Denmark!
@dennisrkb got back to Canada a couple weeks ago! :) was quite literally only 48hrs of spare time this trip
I loved CPH. Went back in Jan 2020 for the second time. Such a nice city
What a great place! I hope I visit it one day. Is there a longer version of that video?
This is all I shot unfortunately! Very quick stop through on my way to a business event
You should also have visited Roast and tried their spro-over done on Decent-machines 😊. Or their espresso drinks on Kees van der Westen 😎. Really good "classical espresso" and really good fruity filter.
I did drop by :)
I also have a Decent, really enjoy Filter 2.1 from Rao
@@LifestyleLab_ Perhaps it's bias from witnessing the fancy process, but I really feel that their Kenyan coffee brewed on the Decent-portafilter is one of the best "filter coffees" (like pourover) I've ever tasted.
Roast also had a stand on the Danish Coffee Festival recently, where they solely brewed "filter-style" on two Decent machines.
@VarmDild it's a really really good way to push extraction. I've also had some of my best cups from that method
Nice
thoughts on the DF54? would we get a review from yourself?! :D
I don't have any plans to review right now, but it seems like a solid little unit if you're looking for that form factor. Essentially just a scaled down DF64 Gen 2 which I'm a fan of
@@LifestyleLab_ oh yes that's reassuring to here! Ps love the vide9 I too got back from Denmark amazing
@12Gavv thanks for tuning in! :)
is that X100V😂?
First time out of the house for the new X100VI 👀
Can you share more of your itinerary? Heading there at the end of the month.
Sure!
Coffee:
La Cabra, Coffee Collective, April. All very close together, can do a different one each day
Food :
Høst - fine dining, great atmosphere
Gasoline Grill - suspected it was all hype, was actually really good
Dop hotdog - mid day street snack
Anderson Maillard - Bakery
Hotel SKT Annæ ApS - Fantastic, great location
Garden Restaurant & Vinbar - Nice spot, good food
Take a long walk allll along both sides near the water, lovely
Would be interesting to hear your thoughts on those places as well
La Cabra was my favourite of the 3. Great service, atmosphere, and best cup of coffee on the trip a delicious Sagastume. Would visit all 3 again though. Would like to get to Aprils larger café further north
Amazing footage. Well done.
Thanks David!
hope you didn't forget to pick up cardamom buns at Juno's!
Had a few delicious cardamom buns! Didn’t make it all the way up to Juno 😞
@@LifestyleLab_ it's such a short walk too :/
Oh we got our STEPS in, such a nice walking city :)
Just couldn’t get to every spot in such a short stop over. But won’t be the last time!
Yeah Juno is the best bakery in a city that is LOADED with great bakeries! I think it's the ex-pastry-chef from NOMA who opened it - and I was fortunate to live close by for a lot of years 😊.
You should also check out Prolog café/roastery which is very close to Juno (they have 2 locations in Copenhagen)
