Thank you for this. I've been following you for a while and I've always admired your dedication toward helping out the fellow man. That being said, this video certainly struck a chord with me. I'm going through a divorce right now, and subjects like addiction help me to reflect on why things went south for me. It was an extremely hard pill for me to swallow, but I did and sought help in the way of a therapist, who helped me recognize that I have some deep-rooted issues with my late father. It probably won't save my marriage, but it will certainly help me. Too many people who could use mental health assistance discount it, and it's only through efforts like yours that some men will seek the help they need. I appreciate that.
I know you can't touch every subject (maybe you can, given enough time), but the positive attitude you impart to your videos certainly is an inspiration for us all. Thank you so much.

      Well said - Malone! 💪🏾
I agree with alpha m. People always try to compare themselves to others in order to feel better about themselves.
It doesn’t really help, because by doing that you’re not trying to take responsibility for your own actions.
And the only way to really find solution to your problems is by being honest with yourself - and try to find ways to solve them! Because no one can do it for you! Cheers!
      Anyway, that’s my two cents.

Weed is not the problem at all, don't let anyone tell you different. But vaping is a definitely holding you back. I've been vape clean for a month and a half now, about 46 days and I've felt a lot better mentally, physically, and spiritually. Vaping is honestly no better than cigarettes so once you can kick that you will be good brother, weed has no thing to do with it.

Hey Alpha, this video could not have popped up at a better time. I’m 23 and just yesterday my wife was about to leave me. I’ve been dealing with anger for a very long time, and although I don’t drink every day, when I drink I do so excessively. And after a combination of anger and alcohol got the best of me, I did and said some things I didn’t mean & I was on the brink of losing the woman I love. That was definitely a wake up call and your video confirmed it. Step 1 is recognizing we have a problem and being man enough to make a change, for us and for those who love us. Thanks for sharing! 🙏🏻

Alcohol is ironic in that it very rarely kills anyone in a typical overdose situation. If it does kill a person i call it death by a thousand shots. However if your a chronic alcoholic not having alcohol can most definitely kill a person. Accute alcohol withdrawal can also will kill a person. In any event be very cautious with drinking. A person can become addicted very quickly and the way out can be very difficult. A cautionary tale.

Hadn't watched one of your videos in a while, but stumbled across this one and loved hearing about the change you made for yourself. Everything you said from 10:41 on is spot on. I have over 4 years of sobriety, and one thing I have noticed is that my addiction will show up in other ways when I don't address my issues and when I don't give my addiction the drug it wants. It sometimes causes me to cope with sex behaviors, poor eating habits like sweets or junk food, excessive spending on things I don't really need, etc. You mentioned a bit of this in your video. I have to keep an eye on how my addiction manifests, and now have tools to work through this, but something for you to keep an eye out for. Proud of you sharing your vulnerability. No need to add the "I'm sorry" to the title!

Brave! Thanks for sharing. Thank you for your vulnerability. For those of us that have had similar struggles it’s always comforting to know that you are not alone. Often times we don’t know how childhood traumas or life altering events shape us and furthermore most of us were never given the tools to recognize, address and heal our pain. We don’t realize what’s happened to us until we are so deep in our dysfunctional patterns. At some point the light goes on, whether you’re 25 or 55. Keeping getting up, look inward and be your own hero.

But I am currently trying to cut down on it and my drinking. I lost a much older sibling to drunk driving and see every year how that hurts my mom, and my sibling just a year and a half older than me and a cousin both got DUI's I watch and helped them through that and don't want to do it myself (Shit is expensive). Brother, I’ve been watching your videos for a long time lol, this is where I come to get that advice when I’m going to do something new… I found Christ a little over a year ago, and I’ve been so thankful ever since, and I hope that you seek him as well! He is a friend and is there to help you out of these things, and I extend that to everyone reading this message!

Being addicted to toxic people. That hit home
For me. My ex was super toxic. Just wasn’t right for me or my goals. Took a lot to walk away from her and it did feel like I lost a part of me. But I’m slowly getting back to my alpha side of me. Respect to you Aaron 👍

I feel you on the dip addiction. Trying to kick it for years. It’s like an old friend who’s always there for you. I’m going to dump it.

Thanks for opening up Alpha! A ton of us have vices that are difficult to get rid of. I’m 38 and smoked weed everyday of my life I couldn’t even get in my car and go to the store unless I had a blunt rolled then I couldn’t get out of my car until I smoked half of it. I never thought I could quit smoking and I spent so
Much money on it . And I quit about a year n a half ago and have saved so much money best thing that I ever did!!
