Wario Land - Super Mario Land 3 DX is a hack of Wario Land - Super Mario Land 3 (1994) for the Game Boy created by korxo, functioning as a hypothetical reissue like that adds color with this two sagas are fully colored, Mario Land and Wario Land.
The first Wario Land is a great blend of Wario treasure hunting and exploration combined with classic Mario gameplay elements. I don't know why they deviated from this formula instead of trying to improve upon it.
Because recreating the magic of this game was always a fool's errand.
They seriously need to remake Wario games, such an underrated Nintendo games.
Or make a new Wario Land with a bit of connection to Warioware with Waluigi.
Too bad Nintendo lacks intelligence to do that

Wario as a whole has always been seen as a smaller/B-team franchise in front of a Mario or Zelda (or Pokémon, Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem and Splatoon).

I have loved this game for 30 years. It is the perfect game. Even the soundtrack is 100% Wario. XD
This was to me the best Wario land. There were many gameplay elements truly enjoyable to help defeat foes that were missing for the rest of the Wario land saga
And I really didn't need the whole Metroidvania aspect and all of the annoying transformations that took away control from the player.
Just give me a good jump'n run.
@@Retr0Dima metroidvania I don't mind, but transformations that take away controls were just annoying. Instead of taking damage the other games just pissed you off as a player. I prefer the first Wario over the other two gbc games.
@@Retr0Dimathey made transformations to make wario games seem different from mario games, and they did it right, I prefer bigger levels in a bigger world, with unique transformations. Also im WL1 wario moves sluggish, and there is no run button. So other WL games are def. better
The most epic ending to a video game ever made in my opinion. Watching the money go up with all the collectibles & then ticking down into the money bags at the end is just a thing of beauty. 😌 It used to make me feel so amazing as a kid when I completed this game, lol. 😄 And the end credit music literally brings tears to my eyes, a masterpiece. 👌 You made this game look very easy lol. 😅 It’s great to see it in colour though. 😊 This game is the epitome of happiness. 😌

Its was about time they fully colored this game
Man, that treasure at 33:16 was so difficult to find compared to the others. There's no visual indicator that there's a door there. I was stuck on 99% for ages because of it.
If the truth is that treasure is quite cryptic, it must have been a headache.
Actually, indication for that is that useless half broken block, which is quite unique in the game. I found that door out of luck, because i was wondering why that useless block was so off place, and i found it not that hard. It was common at times to always place stuff for a reason.
But I understand it can be cryptic
Listen! I can agree with you. The first time I played this game was in 1998 and it took me until 2009 to finally figure out the treasure was in that room and it was on accident. When I finally went in there I was like “this is where it was hiding at after all these years?” Lol I felt kinda stupid but it was a moment I’d never forget tho.

Never realized until seeing this how similar the music of this game and Link's Awakening are, and sure enough, Kozue Ishikawa was a composer for both games which explains the similarities. The Stove Canyon level tracks in particular sound like they'd be perfect dungeon tracks for LA.
If it is a detail that is overlooked in this game.

Ok so I found this "rom hack" it is an .ips file, there is a website that can take your rom and apply the hack to it, it is really easy. The hacked version of the rom loads with the same save files and save states as the normal version. Its really cool to play the color version definitely easy and worth doing and you can leave the original version in your roms folder as well and play whichever version you want without losing any save progress
My theory as to why Waluigi never appears in any Wario Land games are because Wario Land are all about Wario’s strength and speed. Waluigi isn’t really that strong. But it doesn’t explain why he isn’t in WarioWare.

Warioland 1 and 4 are the best.
Not on the same level of quality as the two previous Mario Land games but still nice to see the two entire GB trilogies in color (Mario Land and Wario Land counting the middle one as part of both).
SML2 is debatable at least, but SML1 is a very basic game in mechanics, level design and structure compared to this.

I played this nostalgic game a lot. I don't remember clearly but it seems like there was a scheme to always know which of the buckets the money was in. I always used this method to get the most coins and get a genius planet at the end.
Back in the days I use to watch darkwing duck, I use to wish that Mario would have a doppelganger like darkwing had nega duck. And then shortly after it did happen like there came wario. But unlike nega duck, wario didn't stay as a villain he became an antihero.

I’d imagine there is I have had quite a few experiences that can only be explained by an afterlife. They are personal though so I cannot tell you the exact stories but I do strongly believe there is another life of an eternal energy based variant after this one. I don’t think it’s the exact same as the Christian one however because if that were true god would not have allowed most of us into heaven or reincarnation and we’d already be burning in eternal hell… I think god is a loving benevolent nebulous force of nature. The very life force itself and we carbon based life forms are extensions of his will. Even stars though they are energy based. I study plants and that have souls so do animals and even fungi. I don’t think god is as morally cruel as the Bible says but Jesus was a martyr and one of his closest children… if we are here now in a world that’s about to die we most likely are energy beings in biologically living machines for bodies.

You missed a lot of feats here. In bull mario mode you can stick onto the ceiling by pressing up + jump. Also, throw a 10 bitcoin to those floating ducks and they'll drop 3 10 bitcoins

Can I buy this as an actual cartridge somewhere? I couldn´t find it on Ebay. I already own the original game but I like these DX versions much better. :)
As far as I know there is no cartridge for this game, it would have to be done. I know there are people who make cartridges for NES, SNES and GB, GBC.
What emulator does this work on? I tired tbg dual and visual boy but it does not work on both of them.
Try the core (TGB Dual) in retroarch, It is the one I use and the game works fine for me.

Guys this game is a prequel because he sold his gold and make his own castle. And then on Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins Mario saw the darkness was consumed by Wario and he must return it back to normal again.
And why did Mario turned it into his own castle?
As far as I remember, Wario invaded Mario's own castle back then.
Some people theorised that Warioware was a prequel to Wario Land.

Ai se não tiver esse Masterboy pra Android, baixa o PPSSPP que é o Emulador de PSP pra Android e depois roda o Masterboy pelo emulador de PSP, entendeu ? Acredito que dê certo. I personally don’t like this colorized version,most colors are just too bright and dark,also many colors are different from what i did expecting,it gives a totally different mood to game ,altrough those lava levels really really looks very intimidating with all that red this time around,but apart from that i just don’t like most used colors in this version.
Mario Land 1 and 2 color palette were better I agree.
Strangely I also prefer Super GB Wario Land 2 over GBC WL2.
The power-ups and a few enemies haven't been colorized, either.

There was nothing sexual to me about the game. I just remember playing this game during this vulnerable time in my life when I started feeling sexual urges as a result of puberty. Playing this game was a way to try to escape those urges at least temporarily and hold onto my childhood.
@@YiyaMurano_deMontserrat Well, you see: Wario has always been a sexually charged character, with his virile proportions, his delight in eating garlic, and more brutal ways in solving problems; even the island on which the game takes places has a play in this, being shaped like a skull yet having names related to food, here expressing a dicothomy between life and death, food as source of energy and yet also fileld with danger.
This has clear ties to the sexual awakening of the youth, coming to term also with their mortality, and thus the connection between Eros and Thanatos, similar to a descent into the Underworld by Wario as he wants to accumulate treasures for a safe future, while the looming threat of death lingers in all his endeavours.
Captain Syrup, with her Arabic dresses and her role as the villain, shows the enticing duality between the male and female, for she's both exotic and thus filled with mystery, but also represents the final enemy which Wario must face.
In this brief analysis of the themes and the tapestry of symbols hidden in the first game of the Warioland saga I shall prove to you...
heeey now i think of it,the end boss clearly does have a reference of aladdin hence the wonder lamp,who had ever tout that even nintendo will put a reference of aladdin into their game and/or a cartoon like all other game or film studio’s did??
