What a lovely man. My daughter who passed was in Pallitive care the last two weeks of her life. At the start of Pallitive care, she hugged me so tight and so long as she knew she would not be able to soon. The day before she died, she watched someone walk in her room. She listens to someone talking to her , as she is now nodding her head, and seems to watch someone walks out her room. Mum. A lady just came into my room and told me I’m dying soon. She could also see heaven gates. I was so amazed. The next morning, she sat up and told me all my family are here, and she laid back down. She then passed 5 hours later. From that night onwards, I can hear my daughter everyday. It’s been one year since she passed now. I find dying so amazing. But she lives on. Thank you so much Luisa for your amazing work . God bless.😇💕🌈

Similar thing happened to my friend's 4-year old son, dying with leukemia. He was on the upper floor of a hospital, so weak, he could not eat or lift his head. Suddenly, he sat up, pointed out the window at the empty sky, and told his dad, "I want to go out there with them." The father looked outside, there was nothing, not even a bird. Dad turned around and said, "What do you see?" The little boy had collapsed back onto the bed, and was dead. Nurses have many such stories.

What happened to the children, teachers, and others nearby when the coal tip buried Pantglas school at Aberfan has haunted me all my life. I was eight years old at the time, and it was the first time I had seen adults cry. We had a special service at my school, which from the outside looked very much like Pantglas. RIP to all who lost their lives that terrible October day in 1966.

My Grand Parents raised me, when my Grand Mother passed away myself and most of my family was in the hospital room with her, with in seconds after she passed I seen a white mist come up out of her body, I knew then, that, that was her leaving her body and heading back home, thanks so much for sharing this podcast, it is very insightful and helpful for those who are going through the death process, from all points of view, Cheers.

Dear Luisa, it is pure joy and peace to be with you and Peter Fenwick. Both of you are so kind and passionate. Compassionate. He is profoundly reassuring about who we are, how we are connected, timeless, beyond what we experience as life and death, with loved ones, with everything that lives, from immediate loved ones to a majestic ant, the sun!
The transition process he describes illuminates us! An utterly beautiful, boundless adventure into love, light.

Thank you for this wonderfully warm interview. It has helped to assuage my pangs of guilt about telling my mother to go when she had deathbed visitations from her mother.
Yet, she was one who went through the anxieties of not being able to let go, and needed lots of time before she finally stopped fighting.
When Peter mentioned Monika Renz, I was struck by the strange synchronicity, since one of my mother’s close friends was a Mrs Renz. It seems as if Mum was getting me to tune in from beyond the veil.
What Peter said about the brain being a kind of reducing valve for consciousness reminded me of something Ian McGilchrist said on one of his clips: the soul is the breath of Christ as it is played through the flute of our individual consciousness.
It was amazing to hear Peter say that the sun is conscious, since Rupert Sheldrake has said exactly the same thing, and has done a clip on RUclips with the title: Is the Sun Conscious.
Passionately hope you keep featuring these incredible guests and continue with your very important work towards a much needed paradigm shift.

Brilliant interview, Peter is a sweet and learned gentleman. Great to listen to. I worked in Palliative Care for many years and have experienced some of the stages of dying with others, they have told me when their loved one had arrived to accompany them. I have witnessed a flash of light like a bright star in their eyes flash and leave at the point of death and smelt something sweet like myrrh when their Angels gather to accompany them home. Peace ascending. God is Light and Love. Wondrous and Good.

Wow! Dr. Fenwick said something to the effect.... "If I look into the eyes of your viewers and say You are going to die......" Recently, as I was meditating myself back to sleep in the middle of the night, I received the message, "You ARE going to die." I got the impression that whoever was delivering the message meant this was going to happen soon. (Obviously, it didn't.) I asked, "Okay. Why?" I got, "To reveal the truth about life." 🤷🏻‍♀ This twilight thought bomb is still a mystery to me; but it was kind of weird hearing those words again through Dr. Fenwick.

I love Peter. I experienced that the clock of my Mum in the kitchen stopped when she died.
I am so interested, how the Afterlife should look??? Just Light and Love isnt the way, it would be very boring. So i think that Phenomena with Love and Light its just for the dying moment, to make it joyful. But after a while, the brain will shut down and we are death. There will be nothing, similar to the state before we was born, there was also nothing..
I wished i could believe in an Afterlife, but i really cant.
Also after my Mum died November last year(2 Months ago), i never got a sign of her, no dream, no day vision, no feeling that she is here close to me, nothing. Its all wish thinking. Sad but true.
    Still love you Peter!

    Thx Peter and host.
Guest suggestion might be Prof Bob Thurman, translator of Tibetan Book of the Dead. Uma's dad and Dalai Lama buddy. He can talk in depth about this, and things like tukdam and rainbow body and dewogs who die even for days before coming back. I worked for himalayan masters for years, they said that westerners often have a 'tunnel' experience as they think they have to travel somewhere, in the East many can know you are already 'there'. I found working with dying people in the East much less stressful, helping rich white men die in the West came with lot of stress, regrets, etc. The movie Ghost was somewhat based on the Tib Book of the Dead and is considered actually pretty realistic. I've had nde's, they are all v different... and many more people have terrifying nde's but don't talk publicly about them sadly. I can't agree with the idea after an nde you are less fearful about dying, it actually made me much more aware of living a good meaningful life to guarantee a good death and rebirth wherever. The wealthy Bigelow competition is fine, but it was done by white men, judged mostly by white men, and the 'winners' being mostly white men ie being done in a way western men can finally understand (and to be honest think they are 'discovering' these things)... but many brown skinned cultures and women have always known about these things. It's interesting that Dean Radin tested true psychics around the planet and found most are women, and most are from non christian cultures.

I read the seminal book on Thanatology written by Elizabeth Kubler Ross On Death and Dying. I should point out that Aberfan is in Wales, not England. When people like Kastrup, Hoffman and Kant say that things are not real they are not claiming they do not exist they are saying that the brain is tricked into what it is perceiving the ding an sich is unknowable as is the Tao.

so America doesn't have neuropsychiatrists. just psychiatrists and psychologists and neurologists. America's psychiatric industry needs reworking. if you could improve the psychiatric industry in America, what would you change? i'd change the dependency on pharmiceuticals, the modern practice is to prescribe medication, and more medications for tbe side effects and prescribe medication for the side effects of those new medications, it's kind of rediculous and so the cycle goes. Then everyone thinks "oh she's on medications, she's alright now." Then comes Blasephemous Rumors by Depeche Mode. Someone could've taught her the importance of nutrition and Meditation. Wished so much to believe that consciousness survive or that there is something after, but: In 30-50 years we will laugh about that what we thought about Dead today, i am sure. Then we probably definetly know excatly, that Dead is the End.
For example: Its like the humans before 100-200 years, which believed, that the earth is a disc.
