Getting a birthday present "From: Grant and INFINITOR" would be pretty amazing, though.

I'm so glad you went back to doing daily reviews.
I dig the background music you've started using. It adds a bit of production value to these things, and it never gets particularly intrusive.
If you're worried about scratching rub-on stickers just hit them up with a coat or two of clear paint. That or Future Finish floor polish.
I've always liked Metroplex more....but that might just be because he was the first cityformer I had heard of

I never got around to getting the actual GIANT Fort Max. So this will be nice to have for a fraction of the price. Will be pre ordering the mini fort max soon!
really wish they would have done a pretender shell for the head. Thats the one add on that was REALLY needed for this guy

We need this upscaled to G1 size with all the gimmicks restored. I want a giant, super poseable G1 Fort Max that's taller than the original and just as bulky.
I hope that happens, but it seems like as time goes on products by hasbro (at least) are scaled down and made more and more light weight...not bulky and big.

They should've cast the forearm gun covers in solid blue rather than the clear blue of the cockpit and other parts: the Infinitor release had red on the cockpit and stuff because they needed the covers to be red.
Guessing that this weirdness is why Toyworld never bothered to do a Brave Maximus repaint of this mold?
I wished I could find this version. I have all the others including the Zeta version

Why does Brave Maximus not get represented at all?
Third parties are largely aimed at collectors of characters from G1 franchises. Any other continuities - RiD, Unicron Trilogy, Animated and even Beast Wars - are rarely if ever represented. I remember there were a few add-on kits for TFP toys, like Dreadwing and Megatron getting proper weapons, but again it's very rare.
Does the color scheme remind anyone of RiD Fortress Maximus? Or am I just looking at an excuse to get a tiny RiD Scourge? ;)
That's Brave Maximus, the third color variation of Fort Max (Grant is based off Grand Maximus).

Its robot mode actually looks better proportioned than G1 maximus. To me at least..

toyworld seems to have good ideas, but flawed execution. they really should listen to more feedback from consumers.

Not necessarily. There are quite a few continuities - such as IDW - where Fort Max and Scorponok are normal-sized, so it works if that's what you're going for.
+Kurona Chan more of the actual size... i want a giant and articulate fort max, not a tiny and articulate fort max because then i cant really display it with mp01 even if it were from a univers were it is normal sized

True, but this clearly isn't intended to be for Masterpiece so it's not really fair to judge it on that basis. I don't even want to imagine what a Masterpiece Fort Max would cost...

It is incredibly small and I've struggled for a place for it but it finally found a home with the DX-9 and Iron Factory legends figures. City mode is still a disappointment but the robot mode looks great
