Running across a park to a rollercoaster with an entire loaf of cinnamon bread in your stomach is peak enthusiast.
Ian has no idea how cool AF his mom is. My mom hated amusement parks, was terrified of coasters, and begrudgingly aloud me to ride by myself if I promised her that I would not sit with a stranger. I would have loved to ride coasters with my mom, but she hated them with a passion. 😕
So I know you aren't a therapist, and no one likes trauma dumping, but I've been going through a rough time lately and sorta feeling stuck here in Arizona. I moved from Los Angeles, so I'm so used to going to one of the theme parks each weekend. These videos bring me so much joy and some excitement lol. Besides your positive attitude, you going out and exploring the world of theme parks is honestly so cool, and I'm here virtually experiencing the parks, too, lol. Anyway, I'm glad to see you explode in the number of followers lately, and it's cool to see you grow. I still remember you talking about hitting 30,000 lol Crazy what a few months has done! I ran into Charlotte and Shawn earlier this year in Disney World! They're very friendly! We chatted coasters with them for 15-20mins while they waited to get into the Grog Grotto at the Polynesian. Always a blast to meet your favorite RUclipsrs in person!
We were the same day!!! I met theme park worldwide when I was getting off lightning rod🙌 that rain was relentless🤣

Dollywood is my place!! I've been at LEAST once a year for pretty much my entire life. (not counting the 5 times i have alr been this year) I find it so fun to watch others enjoy this AWESOME park for the first time! (and yes, the cinnamon bread is one of the best things ever!)
Here's a few fun facts!
1. Wild Eagle is the first B&M wing coaster in America!
2. Thunderhead (my fave) crosses under and over itself 30+ times!
3. Lightning rod is one of the fastest wooden/hybrid coaster s in the world!
4. Tenneseee tornado is the last rollercoaster that the Arrow Dynamics coaster company made before closing since their coasters were known for being exceedingly rough.
Just as I thought "hmmmm so much rain ... it looks like the same day as TPW had" ... and booom Alex met Shawn and Charlotte! 🤣
loved your vlog and all the people you met ....but you were complaining about the weather on the Euro-trip....but my goodness what a rain and down time....glad you made it through the day and did all the rides except for the waterrides...Dollywood looks amazing....greets from The Netherlands....

I am going there with my Mom who I haven't seen in over a year! We are staying at the Dreammore resport for 3 nights. Spending 2 days at the park. Can't wait! I haven't been to Dollywood but once when I was about 10. I'm 39 now. I'm sure I wont recognize it.
TUNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEL! I gasped when the sign popped up LMAO. I'm so happy you go to ride Lightning Rod! I went this summer and rode it the 11th of July for the first time and it was closed in the morning and broke down twice that day, so I was geeked to get on it. You saw so many content creators, it was like a mini meet up! Your compassion to the viewers you meet, no matter the age, also shows the heart you have. I went to Dollywood my 2nd Theme park even in August this year! I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!
YES DOLLYWOOD!! I went around New Years 2018, so in 2017, and got to ride every big coaster besides the Gerstlauers because I guess it was too cold for them to run, but I got to ride Lightning Rod back when it was a woodie after they added the trims at the top but it still ran amazingly. It was relentless from start to finish in my experience and that quad-down was something else! Actually, Steel Vengeance's back-to-back airtime hills remind me of the quad-down, only the quad-down felt much more intense. Wild Eagle is a graceful winged coaster. From my experience, the overall ride is better than GateKeeper. It's smoother and less sluggish. The only thing that I wish Wild Eagle had that GateKeeper does is a wing-over drop. Not to mention that Wild Eagle got a lovely theme song. Thunderhead is a really fun woodie and while it may not be best GCI (Mystic Timbers is awaiting in the shadows to beat hard...), it's a great ride. The station fly-through is very unique and it can be intense. Tennessee Tornado is hands-down the best Arrow looper. Smooth, intense and fun, it's nothing like other Arrow loopers. I was looking forward to FireChaser Express and Mystery Mine though... especially FireChaser Express, but I guess we just didn't come at the right time. But it's worth the sacrifice for an OPEN Lightning Rod as a woodie!grinning face with squinting eyesBlazing Fury, I kinda had to ride it a lot because of all the ride closures on second day of my visit, but shall's kinda your cooldown ride. I like it because it can stay open in inclement weather and since it's not highly intense or anything, it's nice to just sit back and enjoy it. And Drop Line, to me, has one of the most intense drops I've experienced on a drop tower. I never expected to be like that but it is! :)
Also killing it with the Nintendo music again!! I always get a laugh out of it as a VGM enjoyer.

I conquered my fear of upside down roller coasters on the Tennessee Tornado on my 34th birthday. It was an amazing day!

Six Flags Magic Mountain is actually my first intense Roller Coaster park, Viper was my first legitimate fast Roller Coaster ride...
Lightning Rod closes soon, the launch will be taken out for a chain lift that's the same speed as the launch. It was a maintenance nightmare for the park due to it being a prototype

Dollywood may be American to its core, but Dollywood is the closet the states get to a European theme park in terms of total quality, immersion and experience.

Full Throttle is my No. 1 favorite ride at Six Flags so far... Subject due to Change.. LoL. If I go back soon I really want to ride X2 and Twisted Colossus and possibly Goliath... definetely Tatsu... but Dive Devils lookin a little Sus to me.
