Love it up there Shane, i used to go Scuba diving at the Solitary Islands about 5 times a year just up from there.

I spent a year in Iraq in 2008 with an Australian Army group and they were a great bunch of "blokes." We hope to visit your country someday and the tour certainly whetted our appectitie.

Your homeland looks beaut mate, just got back myself from God's Country where i drove the west coast of Scotland and wild camped for 2wks. Great news on the loan and loved the Lamp from previous video i just watched. Keep the comedy and banter coming, love it.

2 Hammered black & blue thumbs up! This guy's a HOOT! That means "hilarious" up here where the water swirls clockwise. Watching the video I noticed that the horizon line tilts left and then sometimes to the right. I guess it's that way down under? Keep up the great videos--they're amazingly funny! I work in a newsroom and your version was spot on!

What a beautiful location Shane! I live near the Gulf of Mexico, and there has been a beautification program going on here for years. On every inch of beachfront there are a multitude of beautiful (cough, cough) hi-rise condominiums, hotels, restaurants etc. and so many signs stating rules and regulations you can view to your heart’s content! And not to forget, the thousands of Spring Breakers as well. LOL! Hope yours remains untouched. Have fun with the move and look forward to see your build!

Hey Knackers, Congratulations on the new digs! I just finished my move last week to a California beach town here in the states... So make some big waves down there so we can ride them up here. I love driving vids and vids that show where people live. Beautiful place! My closest friend is from Queensland, still can't get the vegemite thing tho lol! He looks like Larry The Cable Guy but his accent is like yours, or do I have an American accent to you? hmmmm?....err whatever! nice town uncle knackers - loving the footage with your new camera! quick tip with the tripod, try and frame up your shot loosely, then pop your spirit level on the side of the tripod shoe, level it up, and lock it off. this should make the horizon pretty level when you whip around for your panoramic shots, which makes for better video. if you are on a steep hillside, or need to vary the height as you pan around, just lose the tripod altogether, or even try picking it up, and panning with your feet instead. (i know you probably wont make a habit of taking panoramas). keep it up mate, we love your videos.

Thanks for sharing, beautiful beaches. I am curious, do you ever find any washed ashore milled lumber whilst walking the beach? When I vacation at beaches here in US and Mexico, I am almost always coming home with some piece of a pallet or shipping/boat cast off to use in a project. Just curious if it happens there too. What is the average winter and summer temperature where you live?
MsRmaclaren Hi MsRmaclaren. We have a very temperate temperature here. Winter we average around the early 20 degree celcius mark and in Summer, around the 30 degree celcius mark. It's really a very nice climate. In summer we do get a lot of rain though. Cheers
