That was very well done! As a composer who doesn't play harp, I'd love to see a transcription of this to understand the many pedal changes necessary to make a piece like this playable on the harp, you did a great job working through all of those chromatic sections!

Nothing against Tool or Metallica...but you are realizing what true musical genius is in both the composer, Beethoven, and in Kristan's heart moving interpretation and performance. I believe the harp personifies moonlight filtering down through the gently moving leaves of the trees on a warm summer night even better than the piano can. Kristan's phrasing brings out the emotions of a soul longing for love to touch them the way the moonlight gently touches the earth. Congratulations Andes! Brava Kristan!!!

I used to have difficultly finding Beethoven in this piece. It didn't feel like Beethoven to me. I now see that the simple melody of repeated notes is Beethoven. The repeated descending baseline is Beethoven. The slow angst is Beethoven.
