true you need to twist with the pattern. false its always the same. when i use hair like water wave or any hair that’s curled but not completely kinky i open the packs and separate into two piles. on pile will have pieces that are curled to the left the other pile will have pieces curled to the right. that being said just make sure you’re twisting the same direction it’s curled in.
I’ve been using this specific brand of hair for years now and it’s always been to the right lol. I didn’t speak for any other brand or texture but I’m pretty positive about this one.

You don't have to twist right over left what you have to do is twist ALL the twist in the same direction no matter if it's right over left OR left over right 💯

My hair doesn’t look quite like yours since my hair is thinner and it’s my first time. But next time should I do this, or does it only apply when you add on fake hair?

@@abby-girly1652 yes, because it’s all dependent on the direction of the curl, and not all weaves are created equal in that regard. You can also get a more uniform twist on natural hair by twisting a certain direction!
If you notice that your curls go a different direction then twist that way. I’m sharing based off of the hair that I used, which I shared in the full length video
