I'm old enough to remember "Tampon Gate". I felt really sorry for him/them back then too. No privacy at all. I know catching the call wasn't on purpose, but the rest, to give it to the papers sure was.

When you said, 'What if he says something scandalous?' I lol'd!...Anne's younger than Charles. It was actually before William and Kate's first child was born that the law was changed so that girls aren't outranked by younger brothers...the UK newspapers had a premium phone number so people could listen to the call for themselves!...Peter Morgan's a briliiant writer IMHO. he doesn't make people into heroes or villains. he writes real three dimensional people
That is definitely a very cool concept. Just chilling listening to peoples phone calls (like a scumbag) and picking up the Prince of Wales. That is actually crazy.

When Charle’s eldest son’s (William) wife was first pregnant, the late queen changed the rules so that if the first born was a daughter she would be queen.

The Queen gave Parliament permission to consider a law to make this change.

@@Seek1878 it wasn’t about that-she hit him right where it hurts the most by pushing him off the front pages. no one expected her to show her face after charles’ interview, much less in a “scandalous dress” (by the royal’s standards). people immediately began talking about her and bumping charles off the front pages of the newspapers in order to post pictures of the dress. that’s why it was called that, because charles hated being outshined by her.

@@fairypjm3603 I just dont agree. I never understood all the diana hype. To me she was always troubled. Im sorry for what happened to her and for how she was treated by charles. I never thought she was beautiful and i dont even like that dress. Idk. Peoples obsession with her is weird.
@@kingofrivia1248 and you’re entitled to your opinion, but just because, for example, you don’t find her to be attractive doesn’t mean she wasn’t. the majority of people did and still do. she’s definitely the most beloved royal out there

The Prince’s Trust is true achievement of Charles. He is currently being treated for cancer (we don’t know what type).
The Revenge dress was an iconic moment in the UK.
It really irks me how people insult Camilla’s appearance, as if being good looking is the only thing that matters when it comes to being in a loving, long lasting relationship. Outer beauty inevitably fades, but inner beauty is forever. She’s proven to be a much better match for Charles than Diana ever was and they’re still going strong today after all these years. As a matter of fact, I hear she’s actually the nicest, most down to earth person in the royal family. Besides Kate Middleton of course.
I do velua beauty. I think you need both to be in a good relationship and yes im just going to be that shallow. I think camilla is ugly, but what annoys me is that people ignore that diana is incredibly ugly too. I DO NOT understand why people claim she is beautiful. Elizabeth, Margret, Kathe (even meghan) are all stunningly beautiful. Kamilla and Diana just arent.
