How did you go about doing the note count in the top left? There's a couple of approaches I can conceptualize but I'm curious what you found most practical.
this is an After Effects script and it's sidney600's genius. It just reads the note chart and then brute forces keyframe data for the source text value. Sidney is looking to optimise it and trying to think of a good way to display average NPS. I'd find NPS data really interesting and look forward to adding that in the future, but doing it well is going to take some thinking
nice! i definitely get motivation to put in extra effort because i know that these types of videos aren't only for today, but they are for people to find in 10 years. This is one of the best things that makes it worth it. I hope you stay tuned!
Super cool that you remade the original song into a a whole another challenge. At my skill level I was able to pass the hard chart of the original with All Taps, and I'll try to do the same with the Pro chart here.

Many years ago, i found your Victory Solo x chart when i found out i had perfect pitch when i was young, and this led to my obsession with your music for many years. You were technically one of my first real musical genres i got into and changed my musical life. I posted a cover of VSX and you commented and i was gonna do another one with my stuff running through an audiobox never got to it. I dont have that video anymore, but i have a new synth and something we have both achieved over the last decade, obviously especially by this video; experience. From the outside to new viewers, this is amazing on its own. For those have been around for the whole ride, this is just bloody incredible. Regonized almost every reference, I cant wait to do this one and your others songs on my channel.

I have so many things I could say about this chart, I love it! First, patterns 2, 4, and 5 are all masterpieces and I'm glad to see more of what I love. What's different is that this chart has this chaotic feel your more recent charts have (Xtopia, Chord Bastard) that makes them 20x Better. For example, I think songs like stutter step sound amazing musically, but this style makes your songs feel alive and electric and so unpredictable, like it's taken over my brain and turned it into a warzone. I also really appreciate the under charts on this one, was missing that for xtopia, even if the "pro" chart is slightly above my skill level, it's at least playable for me. Side note, "Stepping Solo B Kamikaze" is the scariest sentence ever The presentation on the preview video is crazy as well, you really outdid yourself. I was like, totally immersed when watching it. I'm really excited to try playing it once I finish my Skyward Sword playthrough and can actually focus on other games. Also, is the whole transformer challenge still a thing? I feel like CoMD didnt get a lot of attention but I really love it, and I wish I could try to FC one of the easier charts, but I'm bad haha (best fc is Deep Fear by Kolajo, which I got fairly recently :D) Love you Schmutz

With CoMD, I wasn’t actively playing because I didn’t have a working guitar. I think the difficulty on some charts is poorly balanced, they are technically awkward. I consider remastering and enhancing the pack. But it’s a choice between that and producing new content. I also want to collaborate with players more in the future, because it’s the best way to make great charts. The transformer challenge didn’t gain much traction. The goal with those types of challenges is to make less skilled players achievements meaningful. I will keep trying ideas!

Some of the AI commentary in the song was also taken from AI generated ideas. I did also put in 500+ hours across the song, charting and video over 3 years. 99.99% human-made 💪

It's been a massive goal of mine to build a platform with ranked songs which I started in 2012 but made loads of progress on earlier this year (the current site). The download count for Patterns 5++ isn't tracking well currently, I think it's adding to the Patterns 5 count! I have work to do 😂 I need to assign songs a unique ID (like in RUclips URLs) instead of them currently being identified by their name. That is why duplicate song names, and things like the + symbol are causing glitches. I’ve added sign-ins because the setup now tracks downloads and likes which helps me build song rankings and spotlight deserving tracks. Without sign in, bots would easily overrun the platform. It's the same basic reason why you can't comment and upload videos on RUclips as a 'guest'. Platforms like Google Drive aren't tailored for my long term vision. My goal with FullCombo is to create a permanent archive for custom songs making them way easier to discover and naturally linking peoples FCs, grinds and achievements to the songs. This is a highly ambitious platform and will take colossal effort to execute. Frustratingly, it seems the account sign up has failed for some people making it harder, but hopefully that is a minor glitch and otherwise it's a giant win for everyone who like custom songs. I posted a direct link below in response to someone having issues with the sign in confirmation, but I'd rather not over promote it because it would shit on everything I've just ranted about.
