  • For this project we're using it twin needle and upping the tension to high (8.5 on a scale of 1 - 9) intentionally causing tunneling for texturing
The fabric is a light to medium weight spandex/poly approximately 8/92, a 4 mm twin needle 100% poly serger cone thread for both the needles and bobbin. Needle tension set at 8.5. In using the presser foot to do the spacing of the stitching.
For the texter panel, you don’t really want any of the stitch lines to line up directly with either the grain or 90% off the grain, or with the bias of the fabric.
So the first-row stitching that you need to make sure that it’s as straight as possible. If you can’t eyeball a straight line either marked the fabric with a marking pen ok chalk and use a ruler.
After you do the first-row stitching lineup the next row stitching using the edge of the presser foot. And repeat for as many rows as you need.
Again to your first row as straight as possible and then do the remaining rows off of that line.

That's amazing I wish my twin needle would do that, all I get is skipped stitches! That's if it sews at all!

Are you sewing medium to heavy weight fabrics, , twin needles work best with lighter weight fabrics.
