Really helpful info -thank you for making sense of the different land types. Will be making good use of the spreadsheet!

Maybe a specific tip for the fast-lands in our Azorius deck:
Never forget any Darksteel Citadels animated with Ensoul Artifact still count as a land
I've had it happen more than once that I looked down at my lands, see only two there and expect the Seachrome Coast to come into play untapped only to see my plan for a play immediatly crumble because I forgot I had a citadel up there running the 1's with my opponent xD

Rare lands are the number one reason why I'm considering Explorer instead of Standard. I'll really have to think on it. Heard there's an all access Midweek Magic coming up in November so I'll test out some decks when that comes around.

Definitely worth it! I mostly play explorer and historic.

Would you still recommend drafting if I'm headed for Explorer? Would it be a smart idea to buy packs of sets I'm needing and build wildcards that way, hope I stumble into some lucky packs that have cards I need at the same time? Or is drafting the current set still a good idea? @@coffeestout

Yeah i dislike pain lands. i'll usually only slot two into my deck and the other two lands will be tap lands that heal me for 1. seems to work out fine for me.
