I lifted heavy until a week before birth also did HIIT made labour so much easier and recovered quickly after birth. This was baby no 5 I was 39 had my first at 22 and felt so much better this time.
Good on you for informing your audience more about pregnancy and working out! of course there are modifications to be made to avoid exasperating diastasis recti or generally putting too much pressure on the abdominal wall,
however research absolutly demonstrates how working out and pregnancy go perfectly hand in hand, may promote neurological development of the fetus and do so many wonderful things for both baby and mama (assuming, as you said, that there are no medical issues and health risks).
im also 10 years vegan and gave birth to my boy six months ago, thankfully was able to exercise regularly and i must say it also made my pregnancy a bit easier, i had a massive tummy (and a very large baby inside it) and working out definetly helped with carrying the extra weight and keep my "normal" levels of mobility!
You're a powerful woman😊😊😊
I love how you haven't made your pregnancy the focus of your channel. I'm not pregnant, not do i plan to be (my 'kids' are now in their 20's) but love your fitness and food content. Just signed up to your app and LOVING the workouts! I'm not vegan, so switch out some of the protein in the recipe section of it, but everything has been so delicious. Best money I've spent!
That’s amazing thank you so much for all of your support and I’m so glad you love the app!
you say not? All content about pregnancy now...
So lovely to be able to share your journey with you. Not planning to be pregnant as almost 50 and my son is now almost 18. I’m also still trying to work out how I can work out without hurting my back and hips as have Osteoporosis in back and right hip and also am slightly hyper mobile (apparently!) Have been following you for around 5 years now and have always enjoyed your content. 😁
Your pregnancy videos are helping me a lot. I am also a long time vegan that loves to lift weights. I got pregnant last November but we hd a miscarriage in January. So we are trying to get pregnant again and I would love to still stay active and eat healthy during pregnancy.
I’m looking forward for trying for baby number 3 and being able to go to the gym. With my 2nd I was worried about weightlifting due to wrong info so I stopped then lockdown happened. Now I know I’ll be absolutely fine oh and I squatted when I birthed both kids BOOM! 😅
I think I've followed you for about four years but I did not know you were a personal trainer! 😂That's awesome.
Awww you’re a week ahead of me 😅
Omg so everyone in the UK gets a midwife for free???
😮😮😮😮❤❤
