I've used chlorine free brake cleaner on the frame and that stuff removes everything built up without damaging anything including the frame....may wanna try that after removing the grip tape...but good tips overall
Honestly, I’ve never really understood why people would add this to most firearms. I don’t think I’ve handled a modern firearm that seemed like it didn’t have adequate grip texturing. I’m just checking this video because I’m thinking of buying a pistol that somebody has already added grip tape to. Alcohol is good tip. I probably would’ve gone with acetone, but I’m afraid that that would maybe screw up to finish the polymer.

Thanks brother, that’s another solid option as well.
So either that tape wasn't very old, or the fact that I tried heat while removing is what left a ton of the residue on my frame.
Did you get it off?
The heat makes the glue unnecessarily goopy. It’s great when first applying though.

Talon grips aren't even good at least the plastic ones
